Sarah - About your ticker, I would redo it. It should have 2 URL's in it with the [url] & [img]tag's

I just ate my low carb dinner!! Its offically started!!! and OMG I feel so good that I've decided to do this again. I'm not going to be STRICT STRICT Atkins like I was or follow it to a T. I'm just going to cut my carbs way down so I don't feel sick. I think I'm just going to alter the Atkins to were I want, my main problem with putting on weight is that I eat Way too many carbs and I know that. Carbs are my worst enemy when I overdo it!! I just checked the bag of milk and that is even 12 carbs for 1 cup. Well I drink A LOT more than 1 cup a day. SO I might/will limit myself to 1 cup a day, and certain things here and there but mostly I will be eating Low carb foods. I'm feeling really good and so super motivated . BUT I will see how things go like this and if I'm not happy with the results I will cut out all that stuff I mentioned.

Way to go ladies!!!

So DH surprised me last night with my early Mother's Day present. He set me up this morning a consultation with a personal trainer and worked from home this morning so I could go. It was awesome! She was great. We wrote down my goals, did the body fat analysis (grrr.. LOL) and stuff like that. She took all my measurements too. We are going to wait to start my 6 week package until after she and I both return from vacation so that we can do 6 consecutive weeks. I am SO pumped. My DH is a good one I tell ya..

So, she wants me to work in 3 cardio workouts a week between now and then and do lots of stretching. She gave me a free pass to try a yoga class too. She says I am WAY too not flexible to only be 26 LOL I said "Tell me about it."

YAY YAY YAY for a plan!!!!!!!

(ps: Sorry that was ALL about me!)

Christie-that is an AWESOME mother's day gift!!!

Steph-I will pm you for sure! I too am an everyday weigh-er but I do stick to the same time every day.

Tammy-I am sure you will see results by doing your modified atkins! I have been updating my ticker on Fridays.

Cassie-you were better than me with the Mexican food, I had a taco, enchilada, beans and rice, and of course chips. About the noise waking Rhylee, could you run a humidifier in her room? Avery's is pretty loud it blocks out any extra noise.

Chrystie-you are doing great, almost 10lbs!

I need to Tivo some new Fit TV workouts, I am getting bored of the ones I have. I really need to find a good ab workout!

Christie all about ME is what this thread is for!!! I am so excited for you! Man that sounds so FUN. Sick I know that working out is FUN to me! I can't wait to hear how it goes!! When will after vacation be??

Tammy- I am so glad you are feeling so good about things!

Steph- oh yeah MISS GI JANE!! I forgot to comment on the push-ups! YOU GO GIRL! I am so proud of you...Now do 10 more tonight!!! Throw in some jumping jacks!

I have had a few runs this week but nothing I would call KILLER...I need a good ol kick my butt workout. I really need to get things in gear before surgery. I am so worried about gaining weight and getting lazy while recovering. I know some say silly but I really do lose tone QUICK! I also get more tummy fat QUICK! Dh is going to be hanging with me and Riles tomorrow and wants to take us to Johnson City for lunch so I think in the morning I may get up and do a kick butt workout before hand. I need to download some new music to my IPOD to motivate me...Any suggestions??

Wow - now this is thread I can't keep up with.

Tammy - glad you have groceries and a plan

Sarah - sorry dinner didn't go as well as you planned last night - but it doesn't sound like you went overboard. Hope you went grocery shopping tonight. BTW, I've been looking into the pg diet but altering it - way to go on feeding the boys canned pumpkin -it's a yellow fruit and an iron-rich food.

Bina - well, according to that list of the 20 worst foods, you probably did better w/ the meal you had than you would have w/ a taco salad.

Cassie - good for making a good choice at lunch. IKWYM a/b working out - even if I had a gym membership, I have no clue when I could go, and it's not like I could leave Hannah in their daycare 10 minutes after picking her up for the day - she'd throw a fit and I'd miss her - we only get 2-3 hrs together anyway.

Steph - I put the scale away for a month and made zero improvements in my weight. I need the accountability, but I am only weighing once/day now instead of 7.

Christie - that's soooo cool!

Hope I didn't miss anyone but I can't remember.
oops, just remembered that I was supossed to add in The Firm this week, but it's THursday and I haven't done it yet. OK - I'll try to get in the ab part tonight.
I made the new eating plan and I'm supposed to check off the foods as I eat them. I'm lacking 3 Vitamin C foods, and I could have gotten a better calcium choice and better green leafy/yellow fruits & veggies - But I wrote some of those on my list for next grocery trip. Also taking my OTC prenatal and FIsh oil.

Kelly - I didn't have any vitamins in the house but I still had prenatal ones left so I took one of those today. You are known to get leg cramps on the Atkins diet and I do get them when I don't take vitamins on Atkins.

Karen - YES get up and do a butt kicking workout mama . I'm sure you will be back to yourself once your TT surgery is over and you've recovered!!

Christie - Your DH is too sweet! What a great Mother's day gift!!

Bina - Hope you find a good Ab workout on fit TV!

Hope everyone had a good day. We are getting up early tomorrow then I will do my workout dvd and I'm taking my girl out to breakfast and then I'm taking her to the grocery store so I can get a few extra things I need. Then back home and off to the park again in the afternoon.

Well I think I'm crashing early now so i will TTYL!!

Tammy prentals are the BEET vitamins so yes take those! Good job.

Paying bills right now then I plan to do that workout! Dh has a conference call at 9am so if I am not finished by then I will have to watch Riley first then put her down for a nap then workout. Either way I plan to get it in! I think I may be getting a UTI...Very strong urine smell. Is that a sign? ODesn't hurt but dark and has a odor.

Morning ladies.

I just got done my pilates workout and it was the best one yet!! My arms are J-E-L-L-O!!! I was sweating buckets also . I just got out of the shower and Im going to go take my girl out to eat a happymeal and play on the new equipment at MCD's & NOOOOOOOOO IM not eating anything there. Im having a coffee and that is it, then walking up to the grocery store to get a few more things I need. Im hoping to be back in about 1hr (1.5 hrs) then I can have my bfast at home. I normally dont get hungry til around 10:30 or so.

edit: Karen I figured taking the prenatals would be alright. That reminds me Ihave to go take it now thanks!!

Tammy-keep up the good work!! You should probably try eating a little breakfast before 10:30am so you can get your metabolism going! I am a big believer in breakfast.

Kelly-following the PG diet sounds like a great plan, I bet you will have more energy and those fainting spells will disappear. I hear ya on time to go to the gym, we would really only be able to go on the weekends.

Karen-I know 6 weeks without working out will feel like a LONG time to you, but it is for a good cause. Once you have your new TaTa's you will more motivated than ever so you can show them off,

I weighed in today and haven't lost at all, which is what I expected. I have been slacking off with writing my food down and counting points. I think my goal is to try and maintain my current weight (so still eat healthy and work out!) since I am in the 2ww and then step it up when AF shows.

Oh Bina how exciting the 2WW, I can't wait till I'm there again

Towards the end of the week I keep slacking Oh well I will get there...I think I need a good vitamin to help with energy. When I was at the pharmacy this week I seen some good ones, Just hadn't had time to really look them over and get started on one!

Thanks girls, I am super excited!

I will probably start my 6 weeks of training on June 12th. I will finish at the end of July, just in time to TTC LOL Oh well, at least this time I will have the pre existing stamina to work out while pg.

Way to go with all the new plans and work outs. Yall are doing great!

Bina - I was trying to figure out if I would be back before 10:30 and that there was no way. I just got back about 5 min ago (11:30)and un-packed the groceries. But I did have something small before I left to go to mcd's with my girl.

I didn't let her on the new play equipment cause there were too many kids on it and she would have got knocked over a lot plus it goes very very high up in the air and if she got scared or stuck there is no way for me to get up there!! Alyssa had a grilled cheese happy meal w/ choco milk and apple slices and caramel dip. They tore down the old Mcd's and totally renovated it, it looks AWESOME! She and I both sat in a booth together. AT one point when she was eating she looked at me and gives me this big smile and tips her head to the side towards me and talks gibberish. Basically it means, I love this Mommy!! She does it a lot when she gets something different from either dh or myself LOL .

I bought some really good things today. I'm going to make some diet jello soon for later tonight so it's ready. I told DH I would love when we are sitting watching TV and get that junk food craving to have a bowl of jello with homemade whip cream/sweetener. So I bought lots of those to make throughout the week!!

I'm just going to have a light snack now and do some ball exercises after I bathe my girl!!



edit: For dinner lastnight I had a chicken leg, cheese & olives and a salad. Then later I had tuna w/ mayo and shredded cheese in it then I put that on lettuce with cucumber and rolled it up. I had 3 of those and they were so good. Again I'm not following Atkins to a T, or starting the way I should be starting cause I want to do this semi healthy!! So I've modified it to where I want. If I gain in the next week I will have to re-evaluate everthing. I'm drinking lots of water, trying to limit my caffeine and now using sweetener.

My mom scared me lastnight and said she has heard that sometimes/ and for some people that Atkins only works ONCE!! Well that was a big kick in the butt . I sure hope not. Ive done it 4 times now the last time I did it was a few months ago and did it the way you REALLY are to start it and in 2-3 weeks I lost 20 lbs but I was SICK AS A DOG and just caved one day and ate Carbs!
