Good LORD, the sheer number of calories! Holy crap! Hey Sarah, you should post this link in our diet/exercise thread in the lounge.

Last year, I used to get a medium chocolate shake from Baskin Robbins next door for lunch sometimes (hey, chocolate does a body good), and then one day I looked it up on the BR website...and it had like, 1,500 calories! Haven't had one of those in a LONG time...*eek*

Actually, this gives me a good idea for a whole thread for the 'dieters' to look at...links to the nutritional page of major restaurant chains and fast food places. Hmmm...

Steph that is a great idea. I know I get HUGE chili's cravings....mmmm chips and salsa. It would be great to look up ahead of time what to avoid.

OMG!!! No wonder I'm packing it on!! I've had several of those things. The worst food, chicken, breakfast that is all I remember off the top of my head!

I was reading these with DH and he said, "Are you sure you're pregnant and not just gaining weight from the one time we had that breakfast at Bob Evans!". I couldn't belive the calories!!!

I second that "WOW". I love the awesome blossom-yummy. I'll have to refrain next time we eat there.

Steph-that is a great idea! I looked up the nutritional info for Mimi's Cafe and saw that all their desserts were between 1000-2000calories, it made it really easy to say NO to them!

Yeah, no wonder my metabolism and weight loss has been so successful in the past 6 months; I cut out fast food and am very, VERY careful at restaurants (only have been out a few times), notmally I cook at home.

Okay, I'll start the thread and then every can add to it with restaurants they go to or are interested in -- there's going to be different things in different parts of the country.

Not sure if any of you have ever seen or heard of the documentary by Morgan Spurlock. Here's a link - you can watch the whole thing. When you're done, you will never eat at McDonalds again (especially their french fries) and will hopefully be very careful about what fast food restaruant you visit. It's not just about the calories.
