Me too! I don't understand it, tho. I doubt my little "poppy seed" is putting a lot of pressure on my bladder.
The going to the RR often is a good thing, too-more chances to watch for any spotting or signs of AF . LOL!You have twins? Are they identical? |

You probably have better concert facilities where you are. But everytime I've gone to a concert here there was at least one time where you get pushed by everyone behind you and squished. I'm not sure I can describe it. Other than it makes you feel like lunch meat

I live in south carolina(bleepin bible belt) so things usually stay pretty tame thanks to Bob Jones University(insert more bleeps) but you definitely wouldn't catch me at a Manson concert or something. That would be dumb.
meanwhile i've never been this hungry in my life. ![]() |

Oh just wait. A few months down the road and you'll feel like you'll NEVER be full.

Amber--I have drank 3 gallons of Welch's grape juice in the last 3 days. I would probably have drank more if we had it. Apparently my raging appetite has been replaced by ravenous thirst! If I were you, you might want to stay in your seat after the concert for a half hour or so, and let some of the people get out of there. It seems to me like I usually get bumped on my way out; people at that point are drunk and totally won't realize that you are preggo.
Heidi--While I stood backwards on the scale yesterday, so I am not sure how much I have gained, but I am pretty sure its close to 50 lbs. Oh well. My doctor doesnt say anything to me. I'm not sure if that is b/c I was so underweight to begin with, or the fluid, but I gave up worrying about it a long time ago. It is stupid that they tell you to gain a certain amount. Every pregnant body is different, and your body is going to gain what it is going to gain. period. As long as you don't live at McDonalds, I think you are absolutely fine. And you look good, too, so screw it! Measuring 2 weeks ahead should not be too big of a deal. And, it may not mean you are going to go early! I am measuring close to 6 weeks ahead, and my doc said I could totally go full term!!!! Yikes! I still think I will go early. And if you think you will, I bet you do. I think that we just know that. I did read somewhere that your amniotic fluid is at it's highest at 30 weeks, so that may be why you started measuring large. Have fun at your shower! Jen--Did you ever post those 30 wk pics? Claire--In the first tri, your uterus is not big enough yet to pop out of your pelvis. So, even though the baby is tiny, your uterus is growing and putting pressure on your bladder. If you have a tipped uterus (like me), it may be even worse. Supposedly it gets better in the second, when it is big enough to move on up out of your pelvic cavity, but I have been peeing like a racehorse through the entire pregnancy. Now it hurts so bad when I have to pee; I can barely walk if my bladder feels full. Then again, if I quit drinking all that grape juice I might not have that problem |

Just wait; in a few months, drinking a couple gallons of juice may sound very tempting! When did you say you go in for your betas?
My doctor called, and my fluid levels were actually a bit lower, even though I am measuring a bit bigger. None of it makes sense to me; all I know is that I am very uncomfortable, and my shoes don't fit ![]() |

Chrystie--They are adorable; from your pictures, I thought they might be identical. I have to admit, I will have to laugh at your poor husband if you find out you are having two more girls! My dad had four girls in the house, and jokes that he didn't have a hot shower for 20 years! (He is pretty excited that I am having a boy--he's been waiting a Long time!) I can't wait until your 1st u/s--they should be able to tell how many sacs are there!

I got a call from my new OB today!! It was about a 15min convo. Very nice... pretty much like a free visit! We talked about my beta/progesterone numbers and he's more than happy with them. He told me he has seen tons of early beta numbers that didn't double right away but later picked up. At least a 60% increase every 48hrs is what he looks for so my numbers were excellent. He said he likes to see the progesterone level at least 20 so the RE was smart ot put me on the Prometrium though he told me 2x a day is just fine, instead of 3. I am excited about going to see him on Oct 6th!
On a sad note..... DH's g'ma is going to pass sometime in the next few weeks. She has bone cancer. She's had it for years but multiple times went into remission. This time the meds aren't doing anything and her body is rejecting the platelett transfusions. Her platelett count as of today was 5! I believe the norm is over 200? Which means if she bumps into a wall she could die of internal bleeding. She's 83. We'll probably be taking a trip up to Virgnia to see her on Wed. DH is very upset. Please pray for the family. |

Krissy- Yeah, my first U/S with my twins was at 5wks 6dys. They were able to tell then that I was having twins. This U/S I will be 6wks 3dys, so if there are 2 again they shouldn't have a problem seeing that.
It would be kind of funny to have twin girls again, though if it is twins again, I hope I get atleast one boy...lol Stacey- Glad you had a nice convo. with your new Ob Sorry to hear about you Dh's grandma. |

Stacey--I am so sorry to hear about DH's grandma. Good news about your OB, though! illness and death is very stressful, so try and get lots of rest. Too much stress is not good for you or baby.
Chrystie--They could tell that I was carrying twins at 5wk5days. I lost one of them a few weeks later, but that was a strange situation. I guess sometimes people have "disappearing" sacs, also, where they have no symptoms of a m/c, but one of the sacs just disappears. How wierd! When is your first u/s? |
