Happy weekend ladies!
Rebecca- Thanks for the info! It's good to know it's normal. I tend to freak out about anything and everything. Jess- I know you won't be spending much time there, but enjoy Nashville. I miss it so much there. Jen- That was a great 3D ultrasound! Krissy- I'm sorry your appointment was so crappy. Hopefully the dr was wrong and you'll go soon, like your mom. Lisa- Congrats!! Missy- Congrats!! Claire- Say hello to the hormones! lol It will level out in the middle. Amber- Take it easy, okay? Lots of rest. Heidi- Your weight gain should slow down here really soon. But cutting out the sweets wouldn't hurt, as much as that sucks.. Sorry. Jo- Those are great pics, and that last one reminds me of Ben Stiller in Zoolander! lol Well, no nosebleeds since the last one I posted about, so that's good. I know it's way early, but I swear I have been feeling little kicks. I'll get them and expect it to be gas, but then nothing "happens". They are right above my pelvic bone, but what really confuses me is they are on the far right and far left sides.. the baby isn't that big yet to reach both sides.. Do you think it's possible to have seen that "empty" sac and to have not been able to have seen another baby in it? Ever since she said it could have been a vanishing twin I've been freaked out. If it was, does this increase my chance for twins next time we get pg? So many questions.. |

Sarah--I had a vanishing twin, also, although mine was a little different. I actually experienced cramping and blood (much like a m/c) when the second sac "disappeared". They were actually going to do a D&C because they could see that I was miscarrying on the internal u/s, but then to everyone's surprise, the other sac had a strong h/b. Anyways, I know what you mean; I swear I have had a phantom baby in there the rest of the pg. I have had so many u/s, and I STILL sometimes wonder if they could have just overlooked a second baby! I think it is probably just in your head (I know it is with me), but I would think that this early on it is still possible! I don't think it "ups" your chances of twins in the future. I think the reason I concieved twins is because it was my first cycle off b/c (which I was on for over 10 yrs). My body got confused and tossed out an extra egg! If it runs in your family, though, that is a different story.

Ok, ladies, I have a real problem here. I am hoping someone can tell me that they either have experienced the same thing, or maybe help me figure out if this is normal. I am having SEVERE pain in my upper back (sort of between my shoulder blades). It is so bad that I am considering going to the hospital. I thought at first that maybe it could be heartburn, but can you get that in your back (I have never had heartburn in my life). It does seem to be coming and going, but I thought that back labor was in your lower back? Any ideas? It is really hard to breath, so I am wondering if this is my back, or maybe my lungs.

Oh Krissy - I hope you are okay! I never experienced pain in my upper back with AJ...although I saw a chiro every week, so maybe that helped. Are you feeling any better? I wonder if it would help to put heat on it and stretch out?
Jo - your baby is sooo adorable! Well, I tried responding to posts earlier today twice, and both times I just got too tired to remember everything I read... I finally gave in and took a nap when AJ slept - and I woke up three hours later to him talking in his crib! I slept eight hours last night too! Of course, I am not tired right now, but wow, that felt good! I was just worrying this morning that I have not been feeling any symptoms, then it hit me - bam! Hope everyone is doing well! It is so nice to be over on this side of the boards! |

Okay, I am off to bed...
I have a quick question though... I have been feeling some pressure under my right rib...is that normal? I don't remember that with AJ. No cramping or anything, it just feels like my rib popped or something. I can't wait for my bed!!! |

Jo-He is so cute and you look great. God I hope I have that same experience of losing the weight.
Krissy-Sorry I can't help you either but hope you are feeling better or that something is happening down there! Well I can't say I've been eating all that healthy but I do try and make sure I'm getting in veggies. The one thing I could eat every day is a good salad. So may be I just need to do that more often. Jess-Thanks. I hope the weight gain slows down but it seems for me I go a week or 2 with nothing and then these sudden jumps. Which I think is also why the OB was a little concerned/wanted to watch it. Hi Missy, Allison, Claire and Amber. Hope you are all doing well. I'm starting to stress out a little.....our house is a complete disaster with the bathroom work going on. Since that bathroom is connected to our bedroom we have crap every where. Then the access to the attic is of course in the baby's room. He's needed to be up there to do some work so now the baby's room is a disaster because I had to pull everything from the closet. With only 6 weeks left I just don't know how I'm going to get reorganzied, wash clothes and have time to myself. DH is really pushing for me to stop working early since I have the time banked up. It is now sounding like a good idea. Even though it means it would cut a little time off when the baby is here but I just feel like there is so much to be done! |

Heidi--I don't see anything wrong with taking off work a week or two early; it sucks that it takes away from time with baby, but if you get as uncomfortable as I have been, it becomes SO hard to work. Unfortunately, it also becomes really hard to do laundry and clean the house, so you may end up getting nothing done, anyways, but at least you can be rested up for labor day!
Missy--How nice that you were able to get some sleep in! Are you feeling nausea? Thanks everyone for your concern. My back is feeling a lot better; I took some tums, drank some milk, and lay down in a hot tub for awhile and it got better. I have NO idea what that was, but it really hurt. I don't think it was heartburn, because then we went to the Indian restaraunt where I proceeded to eat super spicy food, and the symptoms did not return. Oh well, at least it went away, I won't worry about it unless it comes back. Oh, and we also bd last night, so I am hoping that the proglandulins do their thing and start softening up my cervix! We are going to go "mall walking" today. DH wants us to get a new cell phone plan, and I am just hoping that walking will get that baby moving! |

My goodness. I just read pages of posts. For some reason I was locked out of the board and couldn't do anything for days! Thanks Bec and Jer for fixing my issue!! I read everyone's stuff but seriously I can't even remember most of it. Preggo brain has kicked in big time for me lately! I updated my blog with 9w belly pics. Gosh I cannot believe it's 9w already.

EEP! Look at the article I just found. I only had pitocin with DD but not with DS. I won't get it with this one either but it wasn't for this reason.
