Amber--How scary! At least you are close enough that he should be ok if he comes soon; although I think they want you to make it to 36 weeks. If Graham gets here before Ely I am going to shoot myself! On a bright note, if it helps, I started having painful bh around 33 weeks; they really do hurt, and more than once I have thought I was going into labor, but they just go away (of course; I am going to be pregnant forever). Try and take it easy; drink lots of water and rest on your left side when possible. Oh, and post some pics of his new room!

Good evening ladies! It looks like I am able to join you all! I got my most recent hcg levels on Monday after doing our fourth round of IUI (Our son, AJ, was conceived through IUI two years ago). I have had two losses, so I am trying to not get too excited yet, but my early ultrasound is on the 21st, so lots of time for prayers still

Missy-Congrats again and welcome over here!!!
Krissy-I can only imagine how you are feeling. I really hope Ely makes his appearance soon. Amber-Hope you have a better day today. Well I have my appt at 11:50. I'm sure it will be rather uneventful. DH will be gone for the weekend so I'm looking forward to some peace and quiet. Our friend is coming this morning to start some of the work on the bathroom. Amber--I will send "3 more week" vibes for you, too!
Mom3Kids--Thanks; I hope that is what happens for me! We are going to eat spicy indian food tonight, and try to bd this weekend (which is difficult because I am in quite a bit of pain from my muscles stretching so much) Jen and Heidi--Enjoy your alone time this weekend! Well, newest in the line of melodrama; last night my cat bit me and it caught me so off guard that I threw myself down to swat her away and hit my belly HARD on the corner of a metal gate. It left a mark for awhil, but the mark has disappeared by now. The baby went crazy and was kicking me for the next 45 minutes, and then stopped. He is still moving around ok, do you think I could have hurt him or the placenta? I honestly just forgot how big I am. I woke up thismorning and am very nauseous, but other than that I don't have any signs that anything is wrong. Should I call the doc? I sort of think he is just fine, but Im not sure how much cushion he has in there now that he is so big! Ugh |

Krissy - I think everything is fine, but call the dr. They may want to see just to check and make sure. I had a co-worker who fell and broke her arm on ice outside and the baby was fine. But again, call - it will make you feel better too.
Made my blood appt for Monday and then the following Monday will be my first appointment. Starting to seem real now |

lisa- you just transferred one, right? So if it's more than one, they'll be identical. That'd be fun... one set of fraternal and one set of identicals! It does sound like a really high hcg number to me, so I'm really anxious for you to have your u/s.
Krissy- I agree that you are probably fine but I'd call the dr. just to let them know what happened. Hi everyone else! I'm sure there is more to say, but I'm going to lay down while the boys are doing the same. |

Krissy- yuck! I'm sorry you didn't get better news.
Jen- Jackson is so cute with those pouty little lips. What an angel. Yesterday DH took the day off so that we could go to the State Fair of Texas. It was senior citizen day so it wasn't that crowded and the weather was perfect! We were there all day. I'll post some pictures later. Hello to all the new ladies. There sure are a lot of preggos now!! |

Hi ladies!
Krissy- Did you end up calling your doctor? I had fallen on the stairs towards the end of my pregnancy with AJ (just two steps) and the dr. said that as long as there were three (or four?) movements within an hour I was fine. If not, drink some soda and then wait an hour. In about ten minutes I felt tons of movement, and all was good... Claire - have you seen a chiro at all? I saw one with AJ because I had a sciatic nerve as well, and it did wonders for me! I had to go almost every week, so it was a bit of an inconvenience, but well worth it Super tired today! I am so glad it is Friday! I have off next Thursday and Friday for teacher training (that is optional), so I am soooo looking forward to relaxing |

Krissy-Have you called the Dr. yet? It's probably alright but I'd still be calling anyway. I know every time i so much as bump my belly i'm scared Graham is gonna come out with a black eye. DH saves my Dr. from a TON of phone calls about my clumsiness.

Just checking in to see how you're doing Krissy. Well I'm officially a fat a@#. I gained 6lbs in 2 weeks. I am now pushing close to 40lbs. The OB said they will start watching me as they obviously don't want to see that kind of weight gain in a short amount of time and she doesn't really want to see me over 40lbs. Well I still have a little over 6 weeks left so I think I'll be breaking that! I don't know what to do other than cut out some of the sweets (which I have loved since being pg). Otherwise I eat 3 meals a day with a few snacks in between. I thought the weight gain slowed down at the end? And DH didn't go to his parents for the weekend because he got stuck working late and didn't w |
