Jen- I LOVE Jackson's room!! It is so sweet. I want that puppy from PBK!

BTW, I have the diaper champ too and I HATE it!! The diapers constantly get stuck with the moving contraption and it makes it hard to get them to go down. And it doesn't hold a whole lot of diapers either. Sorry for the downer news, it has just been bugging me and when I saw yours it reminded me.

Jo - Thanks for the feedback. I've heard good & bad things about the champ & the genie. I picked the lesser of the two evils (I thought) b/c it doesn't need special bags. I'm sure I'll end up moving to Plan B (when I figure one out).

Jen- I LOVEEEEE Jackson's room.... I want a room like that! Beautiful!!

I have a question about nurseries. Is it ok to have white furniture for a boy? I want black, but it's hard to find at a decent price. Here's the bedding we bought. It's a 13pcs set. Came with the quilt, bumper, fitted sheet, 2 window valances, crib skirt, diaper stacker, toy bag, 2 pillows and 3 wall hangings. I can't wet to get it set up!!

Jen--I LOVE Jackson's nursery; the colors are great!

Stacey--I don't think there is anything wrong with white furniture for either sex. I know lots of adults with white furniture in their bedrooms, and it doesn't make me think "oh, how feminine"!

Stacey- Charlie's furniture is white. I think it is fine. I actually have never seen black furniture in a nursery. All of my friends have white or wood color, but that's just me! I think either way is fine!

Stacey- what if you get an unfinished set and paint it black? I think Black furniture is awesome now. We want a new black set for our bedroom. They have some at babies R us that are reasonable! Toysrus

There are a bunch of black ones on there and if you buy them online you get a free stroller! Don't settle get what you want or you won't be happy with it. LOVE the set you got! Bunble bees how CUTE! Are you painting the walls a pale yellow?

Jen-Wow! I have to say your nursery looks better than most catalogs! Love it!

Stacey-I think white furniture works either way. I love the Bumble bee's. We would have done Grahams room in bee's if he was a girl but DH and i fell in love with the teddy bears(dh has always been my bear, he has two grandpa teddy's, and of course TEDDY GRAHAMS!!!). It's really cool that the set had like everything. Ours was very $20 here, $35 there. ugh. what a pain!

Stacey-I wish I had thought of this myself earlier this pregnancy but ikea has some really cheap($100 t0 $175) cribs. There are some rally neat ones too. I got curious and looked the other day. too late for me but i think there is a store in your area. I would check them out in person first but next baby I'm thinking we'll make a trip to see about it. Definitely wouldn't hurt to look.

Stacey - I really like black furniture. I have several friends who picked it & it looks great.
And to Amber's point, I have some friends who went with IKEA & really liked it. Worth a look!

I found a crib I want!!! I found on the Walmart website of all places! I hate Walmart but I am willing to get this! It is $249 so very reasonable. I'm excited now.



Sarah- No I'm putting the baby in the room that's painted a really soft sage green and has chair rails. I don't want too much yellow going on. I'll take pics this weekend to show you.
