Lauren- WOW you are good at stenciling!! The nursery looks great! I know Abby will LOVE it! I think the rug that Jess suggested would be great too....
Judith- I LOVE LOVE LOVE the farm stuff. I can see a cute little chubby blond haired boy in there sitting in your lap in the big ol comfy chair! It looks great! As for the clothes...I am terrible with Carter already..DH laughs everytime I bring him a new pair of shoes home so can you IMAGINE how I am going to be with this GIRL??? You girls make me want to get DH started right away.....We did go out in persuit of an armoire today and some bedding ideas...Apparently we need to go to another town because we didn't find anything good. I had to order beddiing last time so I may just have to do it again...Boy I wish I was lucky like Kristy and everyone would buy it for me....

This is the border we ordered for Jeslynn's room. The wall color below is a lavendar color and above is a light pink similar to what's in the border.

Now he wants to get a pink ceiling fan with flowers on it for her room! lol This is the ceiling fan: http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f3...ceilingfan.jpg You can flip the blades over and they are just the pink color on the back side, no flowers.

taylan's playroom had a butterfly border on it, and in the craft section of hobby lobby (or even walmart) they have these butterflies that are made from feathers (they look real). Well, the butterflies are on these little wires so you can put them in plants and stuff. I coiled the wires like a spring and hot glued them to the border, so it looked like the butterfiles were flying off the border. It was really cute.

Sara - that butterfly border is so beautiful, and I love the fan too.
As for me, I have decided to go with the Noah's Ark theme for the nursery, since it is unisex so we would be able to use it for either, and any subsequent kids too! My mom already got me 4 pieces from the collection for the baby's room, at a garage sale. It is either called "Lambs & Ivy -Country Noah's Ark", or "Daisy Kingdom - Country Noah's Ark", and is no longer in stores....so garage sales, online, and ebay are where to find this....So, please keep your eyes peeled for me!!! I already have the bumper pad, the headboard pad, two long valances ( which I was thinking of making into a bed-skirt for the crib actually - cause there is not enough for all of our windows - 6 of them, one extra wide) and a stuffed/pad wall-hanging of the ark....on e-Bay they have lots of fabrics with the same or variations on the same pattern on them! I am excited now! And this will be a nice neutral/simple paint-job too.

Sara is that fan from Lowe's?? I saw it there and DH said hey what about that for Riley's room...We know we want pink and green in there....I am thinking of doind a small chandelier with pink shades...But I do like the fan alot!!
Right now we have a ceiling mount light in there with palm trees and monkeys around the edge...not really good for a girls room........Gotta change that. lol

Yes, it is from Lowes! I didn't really like it at first, but the more I look at it, the more I do like it. This pink stuff is slowly growing on me..
