Kanieka- Beautiful belly hun!! You're such a cutie!!

Sarah- They can't really go by CRL (crown to rump) at a certain point. The dr, like mine today, goes by the size of the head. I'm glad they are doing another. Be sure they measure the head size if the CRL is off.

Rhea- The head measurements don't vary much this early. It's pretty accurate at this point considering they don't get any real "fat" until the 3rd tri.

Krissy- I don't see you around.... I am praying for your absence for a while.

Sara - That is all very confusing. I hope you get some answers this week! How fun that you get to have ultrasounds at every appointment! Did they say why? Good thing since your baby keeps throwing you curveballs

I can't wait until Friday! I am totally feeling pregnant and am definitely starting to show, but it will be so reassuring to see the heartbeat again! I am looking forward to days of not puking in the toilet when I wake up and 9 hours of sleep at night is enough!

Krissy-I hope there is something going on.

I've been kind of out of it the last few days. I finally called the doctor's office on Sunday when I dry heaved. She said it's probably the flu and to at least drink liquids and keep those down. Which has been fine but no real appetite. So I'm sure I'll be down a few pounds on Thursday. Then last night we realized that my right ankle had swelled up. It was better this morning but I had to do a few things so I'm sure it will swell back up. My body just aches.......touching my skin hurts. Almost like it has stretched so much and a little painful. I'm dreading going back to work tomorrow after being off since Friday. I'm to the point of being so miserable that if they would write me off work I'd take it.

Jen-You are so lucky to have a date set! I'm really hoping at my next appt I'll have some more movement down there they will do the same. I'm miserable and done being pg. My mom reminds me how good I've had it which is very true but I just can't imagine being like this for another 3 weeks.

Hope everyone is doing well. Going to lay down for awhile.

Thank you all so much for the compliments...you make me feel a little better about it. Its funny because certain clothes that I wear show my tummy more than others but thats the way it goes.

CartersMommy (I dont remember if your actual name is a signature or not...sorry)...Ralphs is a grocery store out here...we have Ralphs, Vons, Superior, Food 4 Less, and Pavillions. I am sure there are more but those are the major grocery store chains that we have here.

I ended up buying a pair of maternity work pants and maternity jeans...I wore the work pants yesterday...little weird and different but comfortable. I will probably wear the jeans over the weekend...we will see!

i had my first ob appt today. i guess i have to get used to the fact that things are going to be different this time only being pregnant with one. with my old dr i got an u/s at every appt so that she could see the heartbeats and i only get one u/s this pregnancy. this time i may go and do a 3d or 4d one just so i can see my little one another time!!! i just got bloodwork done and she did a pelvic. after the pelvic she said oh yea i would say your 8 weeks. i know im not an ob dr but how can they tell by just doing a pelvic?? i go back in 4 weeks and since i have had a previous LEEP procedure they are going to do a cervical check and u/s at 16 weeks so that appt is at the end of december!!! hopefully they can tell me the gender then as well!!

Had my appt today. My cervix are wayyyy back and she can feel his head but im not dilated all. I think DH wanted to cry. He keeps saying he misses his wife. My poor baby, I know i must be pretty hard to deal with right now. Had contractions on and off all day.

Kayla- Everything is ready for Grahams arrival except him apparently. Now I just keep reorganizing. I feel like i've gone off the deep end.

Jen- I'm so jealous that you have a date!!!! It has to be great to know.

Heidi- Sorry you're so under the weather. Just being so pregnant sorta sucks right now. Can't imagine being sick too. Hopefully its short lived.

Kanieka-I had alot of shirts that i looked more preggo in than others. Odd isn't it?

Does anybody have an opinion on the flu shot right now? My OB advises it but it makes me nervous.


Anyone else vote today? I did. Ha. I feel like i contributed to my country.

Well I feel a little better today. I have been coughing today, but my throat doesn't hurt as bad.

For those who don't know what you are having yet.........Do any of you have a strong feeling as to the gender of your little one??

For some reason, I really feel like I am having a boy this time around.
I don't know why. Just a gut feeling I guess.

Heidi - So sorry you're not feeling well. I think I had the flu or some kind of bug this weekend...it went away in 2 days or so. I lost almost 2 lbs, but my Dr wasn't worried. Take it easy this week.

Amber - so are you fully effaced? Are you going to wait it out or talk to your Dr. about planning? I have everything ready too, and keep re-organizing and buying extra things....I really need to stop going to BRU & Target.
Oh - I got a flu shot for the first time this yr. My Dr recommended it - and that adults who will be around the baby get one (since the baby can't).

Kanieka- enjoy the maternity pants. I loved the stretchy waist - but I think it made me eat more

Bina -I hope you are right. I am still pretty nervous about labor.

I have been feeling pretty good this week (well, since yesterday), but Jackson has been SUPER low. & I am having more lower back pain. and some weird internal pains. 8 more days seems like a long time away.

I voted last week. I hope everyone else did too! We are supposed to go to an election watching party tonight. I hope I can make it for a little bit!

Chrystie - I don't have a "feeling" with this one - I did with CJ before we knew, though, and I was right.

You should ask your girls for their prediction, I have heard many nurses say that toddlers are amazingly accurate when they predict gender! I keep forgetting to ask CJ.
