Jo--That's sort of what I thought; I just wish he liked ANYTHING well enough to sit in it long enough for me to shower! I'm sure that is a common wish among new moms. He absolutely hates being swaddled; even in the hospital he threw a fit if they wrapped him up. He is very wiggly, and I think he doesnt like being inhibited. For the most part, he just wants me to hold him, not even anyone else. I keep thinking it is cuz he doesnt feel good or something, but DH thinks he is just smart and knows that when I am holding him he has a snack bar nearby. Maybe it is totally normal; I do think that because of the hospital stay and everything I may be over reading into everything. He really is only super fussy for a few hours each night, and I think it is probably just because he stays up for so long during the day. Nonetheless, it would be nice if the swing or bouncer calmed him at all.
I feel SO guilty when he is crying and there is nothing I can do

Ok ladies I need your help!! I just can't seem to get the nursery layed out right! DS will be sharing a room with the baby. Here are some pics. We put the dresser in the closet so that frees up more space. Missing from the room is a changing table and a side table next to the chair. I haven't put any of the decor up yet b/c I just don't care for the layout of the furniture. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Krissy - Indeed I am showing...I have been showing like half the time...its crazy...you should check out my pics in the November Belly Pics Section. I hope you find something that will sooth Baby Ely. I really like your pictures! It seems more and more like I should just have a friend take some for me. I want DH to be in the pictures too though....I want us to pick a picture that we will use as the front of the baby shower invitation. In addition, I would like one that we could frame and put in living room or something.

Vickie - Thanks for the information on the photographer...he does travel BUT it would be a little too expensive for him to come here...it would be $150 + travel expenses...if I can find someone here for $150, I would be alright but it doesnt look like it is going the right direction.

Jess - I feel like I may be too involved but I dont want it to be in the hands of someone else and not be what I want. I hope thats not a bad thing...

Graham loves his swing. It also comes off and becomes arocker and then a leg thing flips from under it to be a chair that lays back enough for an infant. He will nap in that thing all day if I let him. He really isn't too demanding yet. He just goes with the flow.

Hi ladies, we had a fantastic appointment today. . .I love going to the Dr. and hearing baby's heartbeat!! today it was between 160 & 165!! woo~hoo!! also we scheduled our BIG ultrasound it will be December 15 I can not wait!! Hope you are all doing well!!!!

Vicki- I didn't really "feel" preggo the whole time I was pregnant with my girls. I have no sore bbs, frequent peeing, no m/s...nothing.
The first thing that made me feel preggo was when I could really feel them moving around.
This pregnancy is different though.

Well Ladies- I'm 5 weeks today! I know I am still REALLY early, but its still exciting! I got all giddy when I saw my ticker change and mention that the heart will be beating this week! I cannot wait until our first ultrasound on Tuesday!!

Jess- Good luck on the road trip. West Virginia... that is a DRIVE! Hope all goes well.

Kanieka- Love planning your shower now, but don't worry too much about it. I ended up missing both of mine b/c I was hospitalized during them. I thought I'd be devastated, b/c I was so excited about the showers, but it ended up okay. I got my babies, and in the end, that was what really mattered. Here are some ideas though:
My friend threw my main shower. It was a rubber duck theme, and the cakes were giant rubber ducks. They were awesome. She brought one to the hospital after the shower, and I gave it to my nurses, who especially loved it. As part of the decor, there were also pop-up duck bins (like the small laundry things), which I now use as toy boxes.
At my shower, guests used markers to decorate onesies for the boys. I loved getting these! You could also do spit bibs, b/c you will use a LOT of these during those first few months!
Do you have a local college nearby? If so, check to see if there are photographers there. They always need extra money (but cost less than pros), and will usually do huge amounts of photos (and be more flexible about using any ideas that you have), and can do amazing things. If they are graphic design students, they'd also be able to do great touch-up work on the photos.

Stacey- I like the layout. What don't you like about it?

Hi All! My first u/s went well, they saw one gestational sac, it is still so early but it was good news. Because I go to an RE he will be doing an u/s every week, which is pretty much standard in his office for all ivf patients. So my next u/s is Wed. I had to go in for blood this morning and Mon too, becasue my estrogen seems to be going up and down. They keep increasing my estrace med.

I didnt get a chance to catch up on posts yet, hope everyone is doing well.

Allison- I will be 19wks. I have a few doc appts around that same time. After my gender U/S, I have a fetal echo at 20 wks with my daughter, Graci's cardiologist. Then another fetal echo at 24 wks with my Ob doc.
Nothing is wrong, but since I do have one child with heart problems they want to make sure with this little one.

Ann- I'm glad you had a good u/s.

I don't know. It just seems kind of cluttered right now. Maybe it's me. I bet if I add the little touches like the decor and stuff than it will look more finished. Maybe I'm having an issue with the unfinished look.
