That was a cool calculator...my mom was arguing with me just this morning that tomorrow I will be completeing 31 weeks and I kept telling her I am just starting my 31st week. So this will clear that up for her!!!

I had a good doc appt today....my weight gain(although I am way heavier than I want to me) is good, my BP is good and the baby is measuring where she should be and has a nice strong heartbeat! I left the office feeling real good that I went out and did a little shopping with DD. By the end of the trip I felt like a beached whale dragging myself through the sand

Carol- Thanks for asking about me! I've actually been feeling great. I've had a little m/s, no actual throwing up yet, just nausea, and a little bit of cramping, but other than that I've felt great! Oh, and the sore bbs have been interesting. My mom hugged me and I had to stop myself from snapping at her! lol But it's definately not feeling real yet... Oh, and I'll be praying for you and your little one!

Karen- You're not the only one that's been dizzy.. I've been having to sit down lots lately. I'll get dizzy when I'm not even doing anything. I'm really glad your spotting has stopped and that you are feeling better. Oh, and I've had to keep my jeans unbuttoned today because they are getting uncomfortable around the waist. I'm not too upset..

Gem- I've been definately cramping too. I just keep thinking about it as the baby growing.

TG- Dh really wants a boy, and I had another baby dream last night and this time it was a boy, so who knows... I'm going crazy! lol But Maybe we'll get a boy to go along with yours!

Josee23 - I'm due on November 29th (according to the calculators)! Actually, once I see my doc, I'm guessing that the due date will change, because I think my ovulation is day 15 or 16, 30 day cycle, so I think my due date will be the 30th or 1st. I think they push it a day or two if your cycle is longer. Anyone know for sure?

Hi ladies,

I've scheduled my first appt...it will be next thursday 04/06/05. I'll only be nearing the end of my 5th week then-do you all know what I should expect?? I meant to ask the nurse today, but i was trying to make the appt @work & got completely side tracked.
From what I read, it's too soon to do an u/s & hear the heartbeat, right??

My 1st appt. All they did was take blood and all my history. They said it was to early for a heart beat or anything. But maybe you office is more advanced.
The 2nd appt is when I got to have my first internal ultrasound and all that fun stuff.


Wow ladies our numbers are growing. Lots of prego's over here. That is so cool.

Topaz – my 1st appointment (I was 4-5 weeks) when I was pg last year they did a urine test and a quick pelvic, gave me prenatal samples to try, and scheduled my first prenatal and sonogram (8 weeks). It was a quickie ‘pregnancy confirmation’ visit.

My first appointment at 4 and a 1/2 weeks they didn't do anything except for a
discussion on my history, and the unfortunate m/c talk the doctor gave me. They made me come back at 6 weeks to do the vaginal ultrasound to see the heartbeat and then I am going back on 4/3 to I believe do another u/s to hear the heartbeat. I don't think you can see the heartbeat before 6 weeks.

Have you guys heard that your mucus membranes overact during pregnancy. I have been extremely sniffly and have had a runny nose the past two days and a fellow pregnant co-worker said that was what was wrong with me. Doctor told me to get some Claritin and I am hoping that kicks in soon. I really dont feel bad or like I am getting a cold. It's just a contact sneezing and sniffling

If you check out Americanbaby.com it gives you the breakdown of each month. The 4th month is 5 weeks long not 4 weeks as the other months. So after week 17 I will start my 5th month. I really like that site.
