Wow, I haven't been on in so long and am so behind! It looks like everyone is doing well!
Kristy-You're up next, right? How exciting! Cole-Not too much longer for you! Jo-Sounds like you're doing well! Love the nursery! Heidi-Ten pounds sounds perfect to me! Did I ever mention that around 15 weeks I had gained 6 pounds in 10 days? Yikes! Krissy-You look GREAT preggo! Dani-You're close to meeting your two little ones too! Okay, so Tuesday is my next OB appointment and they are gonna start filiming our segment for Deliver Me then. I'm getting kinda nervous. I'm not sure how natural I can be knowing there's a camera being shoved in my face.

Krissy~ I agree with Christie. Don't feel guilty. I know I had moments where I was miserable, and at this point it really is hard to remember them.
Snowie~ Oh, how exciting! I've seen previews for Deliver Me, but I never stay up late enough to watch it. (life as a working mom - sleep when you can!) I agree, I think I would be really nervous to have a camera there. I bet you'll do great and be such an inspiration to other women with similar struggles that you've faced. I think you're doing a wonderful thing. I can't believe how close you are! Are you super excited or scared to death? I was a combo of both. |

Krissy-I am kind of the same way with my pregnancies. I've had issues with both of them and I think my problem is that I've never had one of those "easy" or "dream" pregnancy. I felt really guilty about it the last time, but this time I realize that it doesn't mean that I love my baby any less than those who have nicer experiences do. I am also so very grateful that I am pregnant, but I do not enjoy the process. . . My advice to you would be wait until you are feeling normal again before making permanent decisions about having more.
Snowie-I'm so excited for you!!! I LOVE that show! While the camera is there just be glad it is in your face and not some other body part! I think it is awesome that you will be sharing your story with so many. I think it is so self-less of you. I forget what else I read I have my GBS test today I'm not a big fan!!

Snowie-First of all I can't believe how close you are. I swear it seems just like yesterday you and dana were announcing being pg. I'm so excited for you. I love that show too by the way...just started watching it now that I'm pg. Thanks for the inof on the weight gain. I feel a little better now hearing yours and Jen's info. I was getting a little worried.
Jen-I'm glad you are about the same as me with the weight gain. I was expecting it obviously but when it really jumped in the last week or so I started to worry it was too much. But I also thought about being 17 weeks now and if we are to gain about 25-30 as an average I think we are ok too. I'm jealous you made a trip already to Babies R Us. We have yet to do it and I'm feeling kind of overwhelmed with all the things around the house and getting ready for the baby. But hopefully we don't have much planned in the near future we can start getting a few things done. Don't over work yourself in the yard! |

At this moment, I am not a big fan of being pregnant! I was nauseous 24/7 in the first trimester, the 2nd trimester I popped out a lot earlier than the first one & that made it uncomfortable..and now, I have the whole "pregnancy stuffy nose" thing going on (oh, and a nasty cold on top of that!!)...I get up to pee every 2 hours without fail at night, can barely eat a normal size dinenr without feeling like I'm going to puke and have like ZERO energy to do anything. UGH! Before I got my BFP, I was thinking I missed being pregnant cuz it was a lot easier with Maddie last time, but NOW, I KNOW this is our last kid - I just dont' want to think what could make it any more uncomfortable than I am right now!
Snowie - I was wondering what your decision was about filiming. I love that show & I so wish my doctors were more like your doctors!!! (even without the filming).....just relax & try to ignore the cameras (I know - easier said than done!) GOOD LUCK!!! Kristy - I had my GBS on Friday - not really as bad as I had remembered it being...oh, and he also checked me- so that was a nice surprise! ....They have my due date as 5 days sooner than what I know it should be....they just did the whole "when was your LMP?" ...and looked at the chart and calculated it as July 18...but since I was doing the OPKs & keeping track - I KNOW I didn't O until CD19...so they have me at almost a week farther along than I actually am & they've been doing all of the tests early....and surprise surprise- he said my cervix is closed & still high & posterior..duh! Of course it is - I'm only 34 weeks! ![]() ![]() ![]() Sorry to ramble - had to catch up since I wasn't on all weekend! |

Heidi - 11lbs as of this AM. I am hoping that 1-2 lbs is the pasta I had for dinner last night.
Snowie - That is so exciting! I am going to have to start watching the show! Cole - Sorry you are not feeling great. Krissy- Good luck with the test today!

Jen--I had to laugh at your post; I am SO with you on the boob thing! I am normally a B, and happy with it. Now, I just don't know what to do with these; all the bras are sort of ugly, and I feel a little slutty in low cut clothes or tank tops (I know that is ridiculous!) I was so psyched to get bigger boobs; I thought it would be fun, but now I am self conscious about them and it is just another thing that makes me feel like I am in someone elses body! And, TMI I know, but the only real bd position that works for me now is girl on top, and I feel like they are just all over the place! It is very distracting. (I realize I am too honest sometimes!)
Heidi--This should make you (and anyone else who is worried about their weight) feel better. I am 22 weeks and have gained 24 lbs! Yes, I was a little underweight to begin with, but I eat healthy and just keep gaining. If you have only gained 12 lbs at 17 weeks, I think you are right on track! I wish I was, but I don't think there is much I could do differently! I wouldn't worry too much, I think your body just does what it does! |

Jen-We checked out USA Baby about a month ago. We really loved their furniture. I'm going back on Friday to compare as I found some stuff at JC Penny and need to decide which I want. At first DH didn't want to go and thought it was silly but as soon as he saw all the different choices he got into it!
Krissy-Thanks for your input as well. I know I've been stuck on this weight thing for the last week but now I feel much better and not going to worry. I think you all are right that your body is going to do whatever it wants regardless of what we want! |

I think I'm the only one on here that has no idea exactly how many pounds I've gained!
I get weighed every time I go, but they never say anything about my weight. I was never too worried about my weight before I got pg., so I didn't know exactly how much I was to begin with. I think it's been somewhere around 30-35-ish pounds so far??...when I saw the number on the scale last week at my appt., I let out a little sigh/gasp, but the nurse just laughed a little & said it was OK! I was more shocked to see the number (170!!...but I'm 5'9" tall, so I wasn't petite to begin with), than the actual weight gain.I haven't even thought about packing my bag yet, but I suppose I should get on that! I've been more concerned about getting Maddie ready for staying with my In-laws while I'm at the hosp....that way DH won't have to worry about her...my MIL watches her 2 days a week now, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem! I got her new jammies & a new outfit she can't wear til she spends the night at Nana & Papa's...that way it'll be special...and I got her a little gift from the baby - she's been so sweet by 'donating' all of her baby stuff to Brendan, saying that she doesn't need it anymore (cuz she's a big girl) & he can have it....so I wanted to get her something that she'd remember from him! |

Ok so the doctor threw us a new one today at our appt. It seems that baby A is breech, during the whole pregnancy he had been cephalic but I guess he decided to be a bit rebellious and he flipped just last week. So the doctor checked me and said I was thinning but not dilating so he's gonna see me again on Friday and do an U/S to see the babies position again. If my boy decides he wants to stay breech the docs gonna want to schedule me for a c-section and he might wanna do it ahead of time. Now that kinda freaks
me out because I knew a c-section was a possibility especially with two babies but i'm just not prepared. I want to be able to move around after having them!! I want to be able to bond with them right away, I don't want to be in pain and not able to move![]() I've only heard bad things about c-sections so I don't even know what to think, but maybe i'm getting ahead of myself and for all I know my boy might flip before Friday. ![]() |

Dani - Crossing fingers & toes that he flips back around for you!
My sister had an emergency c-section with my nephew last year & while she was a little sore afterwords, she was able to bond with him just fine..I know it's a million times harder with 2 babies, but just wanted to let you know that not all c-sections are horror stories! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() :f cross:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() :fcr oss:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() :fcros s:![]() |

Dani
Good luck with him turning. My cousin's baby was breech and so she put little headphones with music at the top of her belly and I guess he turned to hear it! Don't worry about the C-Section; a good friend of mine had a section with twins two years ago. Of course, it is surgery and so it wasnt pleasant, but she insists that she wouldn't have done it any other way--she went in, and pretty soon they were in her arms. The section may have made moving around a bit more difficult in the days following, but I don't think it interfered with bonding, and she looked great shortly after having them. My sis also had one 10 weeks ago and says she feel great, and since she had just had surgery, her DH got more involved with the baby than he may have otherwise. Good luck (oh, btw, are you having two boys, or a boy and a girl? Just curious!) Amber and Jen--When do you guys find out the sex? Are you going to? I thought that was the most exciting moment so far!! |

Dani- don't know much about turning babies, just sending your little one **turn dust**.
I know this is going to make me sound crazy, but I have a website that I would like for you all to check out. Would I be nuts to spend this much $$? Would I be nuts NOT to? I can't imagine that DH would agree to such extravegance (sp?), but should I even try to talk him into it? HelloWorld Photography |

Dani - I had a c-section and wouldn't change a thing! It was great! DD was breech a/b half-way through my pg, but didn't stay that way, but from that point on I began considering the possibility of a c-section and so I became OK w/ the idea - I had really wanted an all natural birth. The c-section was scheduled, so it wasn't a surprise to the dr, but it was to me - I went to my appt and he said, "be back at 5:30am for your c-section." Recovery was fine - the first week was tough - by 2 weeks, I was walking w/ her in the stroller everyday. My friend had a vaginal birth 2 days before me and it took her a/b a month longer to heal than I did. Hannah is 13 months now and my scar is almost completely faded (in case you're worried a/b that)
