I am trying to decide if I want a 4D ultrasound to make sure that we are having a boy (since I have slowly surrounded my world in blue). I posted my last gender u/s pic in the June belly pic's thread; please let me know what you think! I can't tell what I am looking at; does it look boy?

Krissy- that is what my boy looked like only a little more clear. I have heard others mention the three lines being a girl. I'm not sure what that means, though. Go back to the April thread, I think, and mine is posted there for comparison. It was at 21 weeks, if I am remembering correctly.

Jo--They do look pretty similar. It was the "three lines" thing that threw me. I can see what could be a penis, but I can also sort of see "three lines", so I am confused. Oh, I checked out the website that you posted. Looks really neat; if I had the extra cash I would definitely consider it. On the flips side however, we made this really cool video of our lives growing up and together for our wedding, and even though it was cool, I sort of think it was a waste of time because its not like we are ever going to sit down and watch it again! But thats just me!

I am such a dork. I just caught the end of a Baby Story & now I am sitting here crying. It was about a couple who had to do IVF. They were having their 3rd boy (twins first) . The whole hospital experience, the dad crying.....It was so sweet. I can't wait!!

I have posted so much on here the last few weeks b/c I am sort of bored at work. I am a Sociology instructor at a community college, and since I am teaching only one class (and one online) over the summer, I end up spending a lot of office time surfing the net. It is SO tempting to shop for baby online! I am excited to leave town Friday and get some time away from our construction zone of a house. Ugh, there is just TOO much to do to get ready!

Krissy- I know what you mean. I teach 6th grade and we are out for the summer, so I don't have a whole lot to do. That will change. Monday we have painters coming to get started on our painting job!! I cannot wait! Next step will be carpet and then it's time to get the nursery set up FOR REAL!

I am looking through an old PBK catalog (early winter 2007) and when I got online to order some furniture, it is discontinued already! I have checked ebay and craigslist and no listings. I am sooooo bummed!!

I had to add: I found a photographer to do my maternity photos and she said she would even throw in a few poses with my pooch! I have to call her back and schedule a time, but it looks like the second week of July is when I'll get that done. I am getting so excited as time gets closer.

Krissy-I'm sorry about the loss of your parents' house.

There's so much going on the next few weeks! I have my shower on Sunday, maternity pictures on Tuesday, hospital tour on Thursday, and birthing and breastfeeding classes the following week. I guess this means it's getting close!

Hey Ladies!

OUr double stroller came on Wednesday and DH had it all put together for me right away! For those of you still looking for strollers check out StrollerDepot.com ... The Stroller Superstore -- StrollerDepot.com . I found their prices very reasonable and they had free shipping when I ordered.

I washed up the carseat, bouncy and swing covers on Wednesday too so I am pretty much set now! I have a couple more loads of baby laundry to do, but other than that it is a waiting game.

I went to the dr on Monday. Had my GBS test and 1st exam. Nothing doing down there. I'm thinking I'm not making it to July 10, but I'm betting it will be July. Hopefully the 1 or 2! I just hope I'm home for DD's birthday on June 30.

I hope everyone has a nice day! I'm doing some shopping this morning for DDs birthday and the gift the baby will "give" her at the hospital.

Kristy- ooh, how exciting! You are the first in a slow trickle of babies to come soon. Congrats on the clear GBS. I tested + in my urine at 8 weeks, so I'll most likely have to have an IV during l/d. Trying not to think about it too much, as having my first baby is traumatic enough w/out adding problems on top of it. What kind of gift are you thinking about getting?

Jo - I'm sure you'll find some other bedding that you'll like even better than the PBK one! I hate when they do that! It seems like whenever I get a new bedding set for myself, by the time I go back for another set of sheets, they are gone! ...now, I try to save up enough up front to be able to get a couple of extra sets when I buy the bedding.

Well had my OB appt this morning. Everything looks good. Baby's heartrate was 156! It was such a relief to hear it again. Seems like forever since my last appt. We are doing our gender u/s next Thursday! I can't wait. I wanted to do it the first week of July but the tech is off and I just couldn't wait about 3 weeks to find out. So I hope the baby cooperates. I will be so disappointed if we don't get to find out!

Jo-I really think it's a boy. But I've heard heart rate can be an indicator of the sex. It's been consistent everytime.......my cousins who had boys said theirs would fluctuate at appts.

Steph-I can't believe you have no gut feelings for me!
