Bina--That is too funny, someone gave it to us as a hand me down, and I know another girl who also got it as a hand me down. Apparently no one buys their own bassinet?!
Did Avery like it?

Krissy-Love the room. I can't wait to put ours together! Glad you asked the question about breastfeeding and bottles. I was wondering the same thing!

Dani-Congrats. Hope Oliver is home soon and can't wait to see some pics.

Jen-Right now I did a Graco snugride car seat with one of their light weight strollers that will work with the car seat. It's a bit lighter than the travel systems. But I'm not sure I like my choice. I'm thinking of switching to one of the Graco's safeseats as well. I need to just make a decision and move on. We also registered for a jogger as I'm hoping next summer I'll be able to use it.

Jo-I was also thinking of possibly doing what you did as well.

Bina-I'm the same way. All I've done is check out BRU online all weekend. I could seriously drive myself crazy.

Thanks everyone. I guess it really is just a preference. I obviously need to just decide as all the choices are good ones!

Dani - Congratulations! I hope little Oliver makes it home soon!

Heidi - We were going to get the Snugride, but didn't like any of the color options....so we went to the Safeseat. If you haven't already (I can't remember if its come up), check out Baby Bargains. Great reviews & input on all products.

Baby Bargains!

Krissy - Everyone I have talked to gave me a different opinion about bottles....a different brand, etc. I decided to register for 2 kinds & then figure out on my own what works. It seems like there is no way to know until the baby tries it.

My good friend Janet (her son is 13 months old) & I went to BRU yesterday to finish the registry. She helped me add some things I was missing & take off a bunch of stuff that I really don't need. I think it is pretty much done now. I am excited b/c our shower invites should go out this week or early next!

I realized I am at a point where I can't do much more. We need to order the furniture, but are waiting on a coupon. I am good on maternity clothes, and really need to stay away from random trips to BRU where I buy more onesies. I guess I should enjoy the break before things get crazy again.

I am sad the 3 day weekend is over, but if I can make it thru this week, I have next Friday off to go to Atlanta for our neice's wedding.

Jen-I feel the same about the snugride one I initially picked out. I think I will switch it to the safeseat one I like better. I do have an older version of the book and it has been helpful. I need to dig it back out and look at it.

Congrats Dani!!! Oliver is in my prayers that he comes home quickly!!
I hope everything went smoothly & all will turn out well!!

Krissy - I nursed & pumped & bottle fed DD 4 years ago when I had to go back to work ... bottles are more of the baby's preference - you can put breastmilk in any bottle.

We had Avent Philips AVENT 3-Pack of 9-oz AVENT Natural Feeding Bottle - Avent - Babies "R" Us bottles &
Then I switched to the Playtex ones
3-Pack of 9-oz Playtex VentAire Narrow Reusable Bottles - Playtex - Babies "R" Us that are bent so the baby eats/drinks while he/she is a little more upright (Maddie spit up like crazy!! so I wanted to have her upright as much as possible). (These did help, but there were so many different parts to clean, it was very time consuming & annoying....but I sacrificed to make sure she didn't spit up constantly)

This time around, I am going to use the drop-in ones just because it is easeir...and I won't have as much 'free time' with Maddie hanging around.

Being a Mommy is a blessing in itself, but being a Mommy to twins is a double blessing.
I hope you enjoy your twins as much as I enjoy mine

Dani- Just remember when they are little, it may seem a little difficult sometimes. You may feel like you are never going to make it, but you will. They won't be little forever, so cherish them always
As they get older things get easier also....well let's just say they get independent. (Or atleast they think they are...lol)
Twins are sooo much fun though. It's awesome watching them interact with each other and knowing that they have a wonderful bond with each other.
