Kristy-I saw him in the Detroit area. I love him too and have seen him about 12 or 13 times in concert around the surrounding areas. My best friend and I joke that we both got to take our littles ones while pg to see him! I want to frame this ticket and hang it in her room. I plan on getting his kids CD as well for her to listen to. Hope you are doing well!

Krissy-I ordered my bedding and a few extras last weekend. It should be in in a couple of weeks. I just need to pick out some pictures and wall hangings. But will probably wait until I actually have the furniture and strat arranging so I can see what/where I want to put things.

Cassie-Congrats! I had seen on the other threads you were trying again. Welcome back over. Hope you have a great pregnancy.

Well, that was a fast appt.!! Dominic is officially head-down! At my 4D u/s he was laying oblique. His head was on my right, butt on my left, head down with his feet up by his head. Could NOT have been comfortable. This time the doctor checked his position and said he's in the GO position. Now if only he'll stay that way.

I know a lot of you are gaining a lot of weight, but I am a little worried that I'm not gaining more in this third tri. I actually didn't gain or lose anything in the last two weeks. The doctor said that could be due to fluctuating fluid levels and not to worry. He also said that I am small and he can tell by feeling the baby that he is small too. I only weighed 5 lbs when I was born, so maybe Dominic will be somewhere between my 5 and DH's 7lb11oz.

Jo-Sounds like the little guy is getting ready to make his entrance! I was actually starting to worry a little bit about wieght gain. In the last week I've had several comments that I'm small for being 5 months. So then I started to worry. But my OB siad that everything looks good. So I try not to worry about it too much. I'm sure Dominic is fine and they would of been able to tell at the 4d u/s if things didn't look right.

Krissy - Hey girl! I finally really felt Jackson on Thursday. Then, he kicked a ton on the plane to Atlanta. DH felt him for the first time then. I absolutely love the feeling & I wish he would do it more!

Heidi - Yay for being off rest! You've got some catching up to do! Glad the appt went well. My next appt is Wed and will hopefully be uneventful.

Jo - The pics are great! You look wonderful - pregnancy really suits you. I still need to go check out the nursery pics - I am going to do that next.
As long as the Dr said everything looks good, don't worry about not gaining weight. You are little! It seems I am continuing to gain - I think 14lbs so far?....I am looking forward to heating what my Dr has to say on Wed.

Lots of updates:
On Thurs, I got the bedskirt & going home outfit from RH! So cute! & we got the invite to our Aug shower. It's so sweet - I'll post a pic.
Friday, my diaper bag came in! I love it!
The nursery furniture will be delivered on Wed!
It's so fun that stuff is actually happening!

Atlanta was fun, but it was tiring. We got to Randy's mom's about 2AM on Friday. The rehearsal dinner was soo fun! My brother-in-laws family is crazy and we had a blast with them! We got to relax a little on Sat & I found a bathing suit at Target so we could lay by the pool, which was really nice. The wedding was so pretty & my niece looked beautiful! I can't believe she is married! I am still not showing very much, and I think the relatives were a little disappointed. I tried to dress as "pregnantly" as I could for them.
Our flight home was at 6:30, so it was a very early morning & then it took forever to get home yesterday b/c of cancellations at DFW (not my favorite airport). I am still pooped.


I need to find a cute baby book - with room for info & pics. I don't think I want to have one made (like the fabric kind). Any suggestions?

Jen- welcome home. So happy that you and DH were able to finally feel Jackson move. Enjoy it while it is little sweet kicks, b/c they will turn into full-on jabs soon.

K, so my MIL keeps asking me if I have a going home outfit for Dominic. Am I missing something about this outfit? Isn't it just a onesie? Someone please explain the significance of this outfit to me.

Jo- I think it is just something cute that you like that's all. My MIL brought all her boys home in a white dress. We still laugh about that (really it was a gown, but hey it looked like a dress to me). Charlie just wore a cute Carters newborn outfit. It's just whatever you want!

Jo - I just got a footed onsie monogrammed. I wanted something special b/c I know we will be taking a million pictures. I'm sure its just another one of those things to spend $ on that isn't necessary.

Geesh, someone cue the crickets!

I just got back from a day of gift shopping. I had to get my SIL, niece and baby shower hostess a gift. Not to mention tomorrow is DH's b-day and our 3rd anniversary, so I had to try and think of something to get him x2. I really wanted to plan a getaway to Ft.Worth this Friday night, but nothing is going on.

I'm also trying to think of something that baby can get DH on Dominic's birthday. I saw the idea and like it, but am at a loss as to what to get. I thought about a book for dads about raising sons, religiously as well as physically, but I just don't know... any ideas? He already has a nice watch, so that is out and he doesn't wear any jewelry aside from his cross necklace and wedding ring.

Happy Anniversary! Is it customary to get DH something when the baby is born? I've heard that we get something (push present), but hadn't thought about DH & now I feel kinda bad.

Jo - I think its a nice gesture. I like meaningful gifts/surprises like that. Since I have so much time, I think I will put some thought into it..

Bina- heehee! you are right about that! My DH is just such a supportive, sweet guy and I want him to know that is appreciated. We tried for a long time for this little one and it is going to be such an extra-special day for us. I know that many of you have experienced this same thing.
