Hello everyone..Wow its amazing that we are in December.
I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. My family had a good Thanksgiving. I just didn't want to come back to work today. I feel so tired all the time. I have so much to do and no energy to do it.I put my Christmas tree up Saturday. I have a Dr appt tomm. I hope that he does another ultrasound. He has done one everytime so far. I guess I will have to wait and see.

Hey everyone- Hope you had a great holiday!
Thanksgiving went well, it was a small crowd but everyone helped (not like normal years) so it was pretty easy for me for once. I guess being PG has some advantages  We went and cut our x-mas tree yesterday. Got it in the house and set up but haven't started decorating. DH and I had a little spat. Well I thought that's what it was but I apparently struck some repressed nerve and he actually cried. Ever since he's ben totally quiet and withdrawn and I have no idea what to do  but I'm really bummed about it.

Rhea - Maybe just try to talk to him but let him do it in his own time. Let him know that when he's ready, you're there.
Has anyone had any off-line contact with Heidi?? It's been almost 4 weeks since she posted about her bedrest. I'm beginning to worry. |

I hope we have some December BFPs too...we have lost like 4 people in the past few weeks to the baby side...its CRAZY!!!
Claire (are you Rhea?) - I would just give him some time...then maybe talk to him about it when you see he is feeling better about everything... No contact with Heidi...I am getting worried too...her baby girl should be here now...

Kanieka - Her last post was 11/6 and she said bedrest from pre-e and induction. As of right now, she's some 41 weeks, so I'd think the baby's been born. I just hope she's okay.

Hey All! I hope eveyone had a great Thanksgiving! We had fun in WV with Dh's Family. I gained 4 lbs in one week, though!! YIKES!
 Uhm - every day for a week was like a Thanksgiving feast!We got back 10 pm on Saturday after driving all day, CJ was really great in the car both ways , and slept great in her "big girl" travel infaltable bed, too! It started snowing/raining on us for the last 30 miles of the trip, but that's not bad considering how long the drive was....it hasn't stopped snowing since then, and all the local schools are closed for the day, DH still went to work, but it took him more than 2X as long as usual to get there (usually about 35 minutes for about 35 miles - today took about an hour and a half)! We need groceries cause we tried to use up everything before we left, and now the fridge is bare.....I e-mailed him a list to grab on his way home.... CJ and I came down with a sore throat/stuffy nose and slight fever the last 2 days we were there, noses and throats still haven't gotten all better. I had a hormonal preggo breakdown the day we were leaving for home.... I had stayed up late and done laundry and organized/packed all our stuff and stacked it by the back door to load up in the morning for the trip, and I had EVERYTHING ready to go by 8 am, well, around comes 10 am and Cj is getting tired, and so am I, and we are ready to go. I asked Dh how much longer and he said they still had to divide up the meat (this is a deer hunting/family reunion, and they split up all the deer meat evenly) I said "Well, we aren't taking any, right?" ( Since he hunts here too, we usually leave his share to other family out there who depend on it) and he snapped at me " WELL, DELLA AND JERRY ARE!" (his sister and friend of his dad's who rode with us) I just told him I forgot and he didn't have to yell at me, and I tried not to get upset. But then he was like "Do you need help getting up (we had just taken a family snapshot and I was stiing on the floor in the fron with him and CJ) and I said no and turned my head away and started crying! UHG! In front of everybody  , and he was just like "I didn't mean to yell at you." He doesn't get it, it wasn't just that, - we go on this trip EVERY YEAR, and for a whole week, I see him less than I do at home when he works....that was one thing when it was just us, but CJ misses him too....and I am pregnant and having to do all the work of taking care of her by myself on what is SUPPOSED TO BE like a "vacation".....NOT. We were both sick , and CJ had nightmares every hour on the hour the first night I was sick, too. The first half of the week, he was all telling me to check my blood pressure and not over do it and stuff, but then (my BP was good every time BTW) his actions don't match his words. I am just expected/left to take care of her by myself, and do all the packing and still do laundry and dishes and cooking (there are a bunch of us women there, but just as many, if not more, men to feed/clean up after too). GRRRR. I still haven't really talked to him about it. Oh, and he is only planning on taking 1 week off after I have the baby, (which i think i have decided to go back to my original thoughts and have the scheduled C-section - so no stairs for a week and no driving for 2) and asked his mother to help me after that (she just really rubs me the wrong way - she can't even take care of her own hubby and adopted grandkids) - I think I m going to see if my mom can come down for the 2nd week, rather than his mom - MIL would be more stressful to me than helpful. Ok, so now the calendar for Dec is PACKED - I work every Tues and Weds night - luckily Christmas Eve and New Years EVE fall on Weds. so i get those off, and Saturday the 6th and the 13th I work 10 am-3pm....we are having CJ's 2nd b-day on the 7th, 20 relatives invited - decorating for Christmas on that evening, and 4 of DH's family as houseguests from the 12th-the 15th for hunting out here, with a BIG dinner for at least 15 people that Sat. night. The weekend of the 20-21 might be free - I sure hope it is, it would be nice to have a break amidst the chaos....My mom's side, though, may have their Christmas then, they haven't decided yet. We are having MIL and her Hubby, Niece and Nephew, SIL and BIL, and my mom and maybe my brother and his GF here for Christmas on Christmas day, and then my Dad's side Christmas will be on the 27th. UHG.... Anyway, someone is awake from her nap and sounds like she is tearing her crib apart! Gotta go! Hope you are all doing well! Jess P.S. - how do you like my new avatar and siggy?

Well ladies, I've been MIA here lately thanks to holidays, etc, but I do have a bit of an announcement...

Wow! Those 1st two u/s photos are awesome!! We couldn't get ANY good ones of Dominic. Congrats on joining team BLUE!!

Gosh December already! I had my 16w appt this morning and all is well! His u/s machine I swear is like 25yrs old! Haha! I got the worst u/s pics, but we got to see baby and he/she is doing great. Would hardly stay still for us! The baby is breech (no biggie) and well out of the pelvis. The head was about an inch below my belly button.... so cute! I'll post the pics later today. I am measuring a week ahead! EEP! He asked me about the gender scan (which I am going to a private place this Sat for a 3D/4D/gender scan) and I said yes I want it even though I am going on Sat. He says...."Well, unless it's a boy and you can CLEARLY see it's a boy, it won't hurt to have a 2nd scan
 " The gender scan that I would get through the hospital my ins. would pay for. I am waiting for them to call me today or tomorrow to set up the appt. If they can get me in this week or next week than I will probably just cancel my 3D one and get that when I am much further along. Where is Heidi??? I'm very concerned as well. Rhea- I have had a fight or two with DH where I was too harsh and got him upset. I feel bad for it later. Talk to him and see what he's feeling. Sarah- CONGRATS on the baby boy!!! He wasn't shy!

wow 2 boys so far today!!! hopefully we can say we are having a boy too!!! i go for my 12 week check tomorrow. My u/s is scheduled for the end of december so hopefully the baby cooperates so we can know what we are having!!!!
