Crystal~ I like Lucas James. Congrats on having a boy. Dan jokingly tells people that we are naming our child Bocephus Cash...HA! Yeah right!!! And he says with such conviction that he only makes boys so he doesn't even consider a girl's name.

Steph~ Me too.......If you by chance have any "feelings" about which way it'll go here, I'd be more than happy to hear it. I have to wait until 20 weeks to find out for sure. My mom is convinced it's another boy simply based on the fact that I have "love handles". I laugh and tell her that I had them long before I became pregnant so she can base it solely on that. With Dylan, I was pregnant the whole way around. No little basket ball for me.

Y'all are too funny. Don't hold your breath though; sometimes, it happens RIGHT away (I knew before my DSD that she was pg, and as soon as she confirmed it - 8wks - I knew that it was a boy), sometimes, it doesn't happen until WAAAAAY late. I might need to see a picture...

I just got Sheila (Kay) WRONG though. Hasn't happened in a LONG time.

Crystal- Congrats on confirming its a boy!!

Jo- I bought Rylans bedding stuff (which has frogs and turtles and is mostly blue) before I knew what he was! I got everything done early too like Kayla because I hate being rushed and didn't want to be freaking out at the last minute. Even though I still have quite a bit to do, I'm SOO glad I got the main parts of the nursery done when I did. When you get farther along like in your 30 weeks you really won't feel like doing to much, at least I don't!

I had my appointment today and baby is HEAD DOWN! I was getting worried because I wasn't sure which body parts were sticking out of me! LOL! They are waiting until my next appointment to test for strep B, thank goodness! I go back in 2 weeks and then I'm on weekly visits!! My face just lit up when he told me that! Not much longer!!!

Crystal, Congrats on the Boy! I love the name Lucas, I have one in my pre-school class this year and everyone calls him Luker, the kids just love it. You could name him James Lucas and call him Lucas than you would both be happy.

Good Morning Ladies,

Jo & Snowie - Welcome to the preggo side!! It is great to be here!!!! I wish you both a happy and healthy 9 months!!

Crystal - Yay for a boy!! Cute name. You make we curious what is growing inside of me! My u/s is on Jan 3rd! I wasn't going to find out but now I'm more curious!

Jo - I think traveling at 16w would be a good time. I feel great right now (17w). Just be careful what you eat when you get there.

Manda - Yay for head down!! You are getting close!

Dani - I say go for the home birth if that is what you want to do! I am way too chicken to do it but it is really neat and more natural for those who do it. Are you seeing a midwife now? Sorry maybe you said that but I can't see your post right now.

Do any of you that have the Doppler sometimes hear an irratic h/b?? Maybe it is just me but this AM I was listening in and the baby's h/b was normal then fast then seemed to slow way down then speeded up again. Is this normal?? I'm now starting to concern myself with whether or not the h/b is "normal". I may need to give up the doppler soon and just go with the flow!

Thanks, Dana. I can't stop smiling everytime I think about a little baby growing INSIDE me!! Once I see a picture or hear the h/b I'm sure it'll sink in, but until then, I am just in shock.

Before we got pg, I didn't want to know what the gender was and DH did. One of my co-workers is pg and isn't finding out, and I went shopping and found it VERY difficult to buy them something. There's really not that much that is gender neutral. So, I decided that I do want to know. I've got quite a wait, though.

Jo - You are right..it is hard to buy for the unknown. Maybe that is why I haven't bought anything yet. You are so funny with your shopping! I can't believe you have already bought a crib!! I haven't really let it totally sink in yet...I haven't looked for anything. Of course my MIL is brought stuff over...I just have her put it in the basement. I'm not ready yet. I guess some day soon I should get with it and do something about preparing!

I have been over the moon about having a real baby in the house and we have renovations to begin a.s.a.p., so I think I am anticipating having a mess in the house and just want to make sure all my duckies are in a row! I am using the crib as storage of nursery items right now. Not much in there yet.

ETA: I am already on the fourth square in my siggie!!!!!!!
