Default cramping

I know it is normal, but I just need someone else to tell me it is. I just got my BFP on 3/3, which makes me 3 wks 5 days. I am period crampy on and off, and it makes me so nervous. Anyone else out there crampy early on? I just need to get through when AF was due, and I think I will feel a bit better. I've had 2 m/c's in 2003, a ds in 2004, and we were TTC #2 for 9 months.

I'm barely in my 6th week and I am still having lots and lots of cramping. Sometimes really strong and sometimes really weak. Definitely normal, but I know its hard not to worry, I still check to see if Im spotting when I cramp big. Cramping is usually due to implantation in beginning stages of early pregnancy, and when you get further along, its usually due to the growth of your uterus.

Feel free to ask any question you may have and congratulations on your BFP! Put up a cute pregnancy ticker.

Congrats on getting your BFP Katie! I think like Cristina said that cramping right now is completely normal. It's also normal to not have cramping (I didn't have any at all). Try to relax and enjoy being pg. I know it's so hard in the first weeks before hearing the heartbeat, though.

Congrats.....I have been cramping a little bit each day lately. I know my baby is doing some serious growing right now so I try to not think about it. I would say it continues alot through the 1st 12 weeks.

I'm with the other girls, I cramped until about 7 1/2 weeks and my doctor said it could last the entire time. Yesterday I had some slight cramping on one side. And I still check for spotting every time I go to the bathroom! It is a real habit by now!! I agree it wears on your nerves! Take care and Congratulations!!

Thanks for the peace of mind! I didn't cramp at all with my last pregnancy, so it's something new to focus on. It is hard not to worry! I will find a cute ticker, I just haven't had a chance. I am waiting to miss my period tomorrow before I make this too real. It seems so surreal to me right now. I keep checking my tests to see if they are still positive!!!

I know exactly how you feel. The girls are right though, cramping is normal. I had VERY BAD cramping especially at night time. I still get cramping but it is more of a pulling sensation now. BTW, congrats on your BFP!
