Thanks, girls. I finally got some pic's of Elyas without any tubes connected. I am having issues getting them uploaded, but here is one pic. He is such a thug! By far the biggest baby in the NICU! He has had a rough day today; got circumcized this morning, and then his IV blew out and he had to have a re-start. I will get discharged tomorrow, but will be able to stay in my same room for at least a day. The NICU keeps putting him in these goofy little outfits; they want to keep him extra warm, but I need to get some stuff from home because some of their clothes are so funny.

KRISSY! What a birth but look at that AMAZING baby you had!! He is so stinking CUTE! Love the chubby cheeks. I hope you get to both go home in two days. I had to stay in a suite for a few days after I was checked out to wait for Riley. I was glad I could stay and am sure you are too! Great job momma!!

Krissy- What a handsome little man! I am so sorry that the birth didn't go the way you would have wanted, but you are right that it was nothing you did to cause it. He was just way too big and in the wrong position. You do have a wonderful baby that you'll be taking home soon, so all in all, it was a very successful birth. Congratulations again!

Beautiful Baby! Glad the hospital is being accomodating for you, with rooming in and nursing and with him needing to stay there.
If you have any c-section recovery ?s I will be glad to help, I think mine went really well. My aunt and mom, who both had had sections too, were amazed at the fact I was up and walking in about 18 hours from the start of the surgery 3:30 pm surgery - walking the next morning at 9 am. Enjoy this newborn time! Jess
