Hey Girls!
Tricis - Hoping to hear from you soon! Ksh - Yay for getting closer!! Amber - Sorry you are sick! I'm so sleepy today! We went to bed at midnight!! |

Irene - Congratulations! There sure have been alot of BFPs recently, which is wonderful!
As far as when to tell people...we did IVF, and most of our friends knew, so they were asking how we were doing. We made the decision to tell my parents first, b/c they were in town taking care of me while I was on bedrest. But we waited until we had 3 betas that looked good - I guess I was 4-5 weeks then. Then it kind of snowballed & we told DH's parents & our closest friends that week. We are going to wait to tell everyone else & work until 12 weeks or so, just b/c I am still nervous. Hope that helps! Amber - my SIL (younger) is pg too. Our due dates are 1 month apart. Pretty cool! Tricia - Hope all is well! Snowie - Can't wait to hear the scoop! We saw the coolest movie last night at the IMAX. It was a U2 3D concert. It was so fun!! It felt like we were 5 feet from the band. I would highly recommend it! I am TIRED. I haven't been sleeping well, and it is catching up with me. I need to start walking & doing weights again, but I am so darn tired. I want to go take a nap in my car.

Jen-I have been so tired to. I laid and slept on the couch last night while DH played vidoe games. I can barely keep my eyes open once it hits about 7pm! But I find I don't sleep too good during the night either. I'm so tired when I go to bed initially and sleep great for a couple of hours then toss and turn.
Snowie-Starting to feel a little better. Thanks. Dana-I can't believe how close you are getting! |

Heidi - I am not that tired when it is time for bed....then I wake up a million times. I am definitely more tired in the AM - I snooze 3x & then have to drag myself out of bed. Maybe I'll try to skip the nap after work & just got to bed early.
Sorry you aren't feeling good. Hope it subsides soon!

Thanks for all the responses. I'm going to have a hard time keeping it from my friends but DH wants to wait awhile so I guess I'll have to (ironically I have no problem waiting to tell our families!). He claims that he's better at keeping secrets than I am but I think its really just because he hasn't even talked about our TTC with anyone.
Yesterday I was so positive and happy and then today I'm back to feeling scared. I stupidly did another cheapie internet freebie test and it wasn't any darker than the other day. I really hope that when I retest with the 2nd Answer test on friday that I get a nice dark line ![]() Sorry that I'm not really responding to anyone else yet but I guess I'm still a little self-focused. Once I get used to it I will get to know everyone on this side again and where you're all at in your pregnancies. I did see that Tricia just had her baby so Congratulations to her! |

Jo - Thanks for the update on Tricia - I hope her lo is okay w/ him being in the nicu.
Irene - H&H 9mo's to you Well I had a surprise at my checkup today. I'm 80%effaced 1cm dilated. So I told my boss this is my last full week and I'll do part time to train next week. I can't believe Alexandra is getting so close to being here.............she's moved up her due date |

Tina~ That's great that you are progressing, but let me just give you some advice....I was 80% effaced and 1 1/2 cm dialated at 35 weeks when I went into triage for cramping. I remained that way for 3 weeks. I don't want to rain on your good news, just don't get too discouraged if she hangs out for a while longer.

Tina- I hope this means that baby won't take another three weeks to get here. I know you are SO anxious to meet her.
Heidi- I second Snowie's advice: get the sleep now while you still can! I took every opportunity to nap. Now that I am farther along, I don't really need the extra sleep that often. But when I do, I take advantage of it. I love to sleep!! Dana- When did you start to have pulling sensations? I remember you asking about it, but can't remember how far along you were. Last night I woke up with what seemed to be extreme gas, but it's stayed with me all day. I called the dr.'s office and they said that it is probably just some stretching and/or round ligament pulling. Nothing to worry about as long as there is no spotting or leaking. I just checked baby's h/b, just to make me feel better. Still there and still making me think "boy". FYI- My dog is going BONKERS right now running around the house like a madwoman!! heehee |

Jo - It was right around 18 weeks because that is when I called into the OB and got the crabby nurse. I've had many strange sensations throughout this pregnancy that I just "knew" something was going wrong. Thankfully, I was wrong!
As you know, it is hard to forget how long you've tried to get here! Tina - YAY for progress!!! I am trying to switch computers but I need some info off of my old computer and it is a serious task. Basically because it is such an old one! It sucks to lose important info!! Well, I'm off to bed. Have a good night!! |

Amber-I just had to jump in and say that it will be fun for your baby to have a cousin so close in age! And in terms of keeping the grandparents busy...My sister was due two weeks before me, but Avery came early and my nephew came late so they are only 5 days apart!!!
