My doctor said if the meat was cut off a big block of meat is was ok, just not to get the stuff that was precut in the deli. She said the packaged stuff is fine too.

Laura-thanks for posting that. I love lunch meat and have been craving it, but haven't bought any b/c I usually just get a hot sub when I can't take it anymore!

Jo-that was too funny! My poor dh, that kind of salami is on my forbidden food list!

Snowie-glad your meeting well with the producers. Your doc is my favorite on that show!! My dh makes fun of me for watching that stuff, but he actually watches that one with me.

Heidi-I used to take a frozen smart ones or something like that with me to work, and then add fruit or veggies as an extra side dish.

I have had a crazy week with dr. visits. I had a regular appt., got sent to the hospital for monitoring for contractions (all is fine), had a follow up for that, and went into the office for decreased fetal movement too. All is fine, just been nuts. He has said all along that we needed to watch out for this kind of stuff, I guess I should have believed him! Question: do you think it is bad luck for me to ask the "what if" questions? I don't even think my hospital has a NICU, so I'd like to know what would happen if the baby came early.

Krsity-Did you have to go back again for monitoring or was this the same as the last time? I don't think anything's wrong with asking 'what if' questions if it makes you feel better. I'm sure everything is A-OK!

Not bad. DH is in girl overload. It's sorta weird because as much as I wanted a girl I feel drawn to boys clothes and stuff. And baby boys are just so sweet. I have suspicions.

I bought rubber ducks today.... They are dressed for different careers.

Then when I lined them up I realized I had the village ppl. Lol.

Kristy-sorry you had such a stressful week with all those appts. Did you have this kind of stuff with Liv too? As for asking about the NICU, I think you should!!! I never even DREAMED I would have a baby that would be in the NICU so didn't even think to ask about it, but I was thankful that the hospital I delivered at had one of the best in the area.

I too would have lunch/deli meat sometimes, and would just make sure it was heated/toasted.

Kristy, dont hesitate to ask the what if questions, I had a full term overdue one with Molly and she ended up there. I never even thought about it. I wish I had because they have really wierd rule in the NICU here and it would have been better to know ahead of time instead of right after giving birth and being REALLY emotional

Amber, they have some REALLY cute rubber duck stuff for baby bedding. And Judith (travelgirl) did Masons bathroom in rubber duck stuff, in fact I think her baby shower was rubber duck too. I LOVE rubber ducks.

Kristy~ I think those "what if" questions are the most important. It puts your mind to rest and prepares you. I don't know if I posted before now about your appt, but i'm glad all is well & your not on bedrest!

Hello everyone else!

I haven't been sick in months & here i am up with a snotty nose & my throat hurts. I hate not being able to breathe-finally gave in & took some bendryl about 5pm, which knocked me out my 8pm. i'm contemplating another since dh will be getting up with Caleb at 5am and letting me sleep IN! I hope i'm not still sick on Friday

Lisa~ Not sure who will be first. I know Tina was making some progress? I thought for sure I wasn't going to make it to my cs date, but my cramping/bh are pretty much nonexistent now. I'm scheduled for c/s this Friday, so I plan to post whenever i'm out of the hospital.

I'm going to take another Bendryl & go back to bed-hopefully i get some sleep. I just drank a big glass of juice & just saw we are out of Tums-i would have never drank it if i had known as that is a BIG hearburn trigger for me. I'm going to have to hurt dh for taking the last ones.

Amber-I HATE when DH does that to me. I went out and bought my own bottle (in my favorite flavor) and told him he can't touch them!! I'll happily buy him some when he is running low, he just needs to let me know!
