I found this and thought you guys might find it intresting! I know I did
BUT, Now I have to admit I'm a little confused
There has recently been a complete "about face" regarding the optimal times to attempt conception. The old (and wrong!) thinking was that a few days on either side of ovulation was best, with intercourse every other day so that the sperm would be neither too sparse nor too concentrated. New research indicates that the most fertile time is six days before ovulation up until the very day of ovulation, with fertility falling as early as the day after ovulation. It is also now believed that intercourse should be done daily during this fertile time, not every other day. So if you have a 28-day cycle and typically ovulate on day 14, that means having intercourse from day 9 to day 14. (Making babies can be exhausting!) If your periods are longer, then ovulation is usually 14 days before the next period and can't be predicted from the previous period.
