A junior??
If we have a boy my husband wants a junior... I've NEVER wanted my son to have a junior because I feel everyone should have their own identity... but I'm not gonna argue with him if it's what he really wants... so if I have a boy it's Justin Wayne Gresham, jr. ugh... lol
The problem lies in the girls name.... he wants the middle name to be Faye, because that's his moms name... which is fine with me because it was my grandmothers name.... but we're having a hard time thinking of a first name that goes with Faye and the last name Gresham.... Any ideas?

Yeah my husband is a III..... I don't like those at all. Naming your child after someone important to you is one thing, but giving them the exact same name as yourself? Not a fan. The first time my husband and I started talking about kids I was like "just so you know- there will not be a IV" he agreed....

My Dh is the IV and if this baby is a boy, he wants it to be the V.
We have a lot more talking to do...lol

My husbands name is Chris, and I am Krissy, so a Junior was completely out of the question. Just think of what our answering machine would sound like! I do like the idea of naming your child after someone, though, and I like the name Faye. I think that there are a lot of girls names that could go with it, too. I like the name Piper a lot. Piper Faye Gresham sounds cool. I also really like the names Lily, Lena or Laina, and Georgia. I think they all sound pretty good with Faye. You are lucky, I think your names are easy to meld with. You shouldnt have a problem coming up with something good.

I like Elisabeth Faye Gresham, I love Lily but my best friends little girl is Lilly.
I also like Megan Faye Gresham and Gracie Faye Gresham... We will see.... I dunno what we're gonna do if it's a boy... I really don't want a junior. Junior's just sound SO redneck.

LOL @ Marie- I agree with you about the redneck thing... trust me I know all about that, I'm in the Florida panhandle which is basically like "lower Alabama".

I REALLY want Charles Landon Gresham for a boy... Charles is my grandfathers name and I just like Landon...

I talked to DH last night and asked if a junior was negotiable and at first he said no but then he was like "whatever makes you happy baby... whatever keeps you around"...lol.... so that will be more to talk about when we get there.
As far as the girl names... I really like Elizabeth Faye Gresham... I also really like Gracie Faye Gresham.... we'll see which one he likes better. HE really likes Natalie.... but I'm all for nicknames and there aren't really any good nick names for Natalie.

Marie- I still vote Elizabeth Faye... but Emily Faye is cute too.... Natalie Faye works as well if thats what your DH likes. As far as nicknames for Natalie- Nattie is the only real one I have heard for it- but it works!! Maybe you should bargain with him and tell him you will give him Natalie if you get to choose the boys name instead of a Jr :P

For a boy since he's agreed to resign from a junior I'm thinking either Landon Kendrick (his family's last name... somehow he got stuck with his moms last name instead. His grandparents were gonna adopt him so he would have been a Kendrick but it never happened.... So Landon Kendrick Gresham or Kendrick Landon Gresham.... or Justin Landon Gresham or Landon Justin Gresham or Landon Wayne Gresham Justin is DH first name and Wayne is DH middle name. So we'll see... I just really like Landon.... As for girls go.... I'm thinking of just letting him pick the name as long as it's something I can agree with. Today I thought of maybe Bethany Faye Gresham... We'll see I guess...
