on names that sound so close.... my dh has a friend whose name is Aaron, his wifes name is Erin, and their sons name is Aaron!!!! now tell me how hard that would be? why would they name their son Aaron?! i don't get it.....

mom- my dh's middle name is andrew also. his first name is james and that is why i like the name jamison....so they kind of are similar.

Cassie- My middle name is Jo also. I always hated it growing up because I had so many other Sara(h)s in my class and school, in fact I had 5 on my softball team. So we went by last names, except my maiden name was really long (11 letters) and German so no one could pronounce or spell it right so I was Sara Jo. It sounded so hick that I could have killed my mom for naming me that! haha! Anyway, I was Sara Jo until Graduation and then I quickly left town for college and never told anyone my middle name!

Oh, and one of my favorite girl names is JessaLynn. I'm having trouble thinking of a middle name to go with it though. And I have no clue on boys names...

Sara my mom tried to make the Cassie Jo stick too! My teachers would always ask, is it Cassie or Cassie Jo? B/C Jo was on everything I ever had to fill out! I would just say Cassie. My dh likes to call me Cassie Jo. I love having such a country/hick name. I noticed you were from OK so it fits you too.

My dh's cousin just had a baby girl and named her Jessalyn. His name is Jessie, so it's kinda cute!

This is so great to have a place to go for advice and just "girl" talk...I think I drive my husband crazy with the whole baby name game...so I'll get your opinions if that's ok....if our first baby is a girl she will either be Lane Elizabeth or Riley Jane and it's between 3 different ones for a boy: Colton James, Wyatt Dale or Luke Timothy. Any opinions?

Hollie, is the pronunciation of Lane, LAY-n or LAY-nee? I like either, just curious. I really like both the girl names because they can be boy names too. If you read my earlier posts about that you will see

For a boy I like Colton James. My DH's cousin just named her baby Colter James

Hollie - I like Riley Jane and Colton James!

I already have 2 girls names picked out for my "twins" - no I'm not pg yet but a friend of mine when I first met her said "how are your twin girls?" and I told her I didn't have any children yet and she was so convinced I had twin girls she even described their dark curly hair and everything! She really thought I was puttting her on when I said I didn't have any kids yet. In the end she thought she must have had a "premonition" so it is a joke that I will have twin girls. The names I like are:

Madalene Rose (Madalene was my grandmother, deceased and Rose was Dh's grandmother, also deceased.) I told my grandmother on her deathbed that we would name a girl Madalene Rose and she thought it was pretty.

I also like MiKayla Margaret (Margaret was my other grandmother also deceased). Our last name is Quinn and sometimes I think of "Dr Quinn Medicine Woman" her name was Michaela Quinn - kinda corny but I like the name inspite of the TV show!

Cassie- OMG!!! Rhylee is my daughters name. And that is exactly how you spell it. That is so strange. I have NEVER seen anyone spell it that way. But her middle name is Nicole. Great name!!!
