A boy- Gidion Eldairyion

I like Gidion. What is the middle name? I've never seen it before.

i really like it....it sounds familiar....maybe LOTR? or another fantasy series, by david eddings maybe?>...... my DH & i are serious fantasy readers, so now i'll be rechecking a few....




gideon.... i've always liked that name....strong, a little bit old fashioned & romantic

I have a niece named Lorien from LOTR (short for Lothlorien), and if the new baby is a boy they plan on Riven (short for Rivendell), so I understand LOTR names!!

if we have a boy, his name will be Rohan

middle name gabriel or gavriel

(i really like the author guy gavriel kay........but figure a more traditional spelling might be kinder with an unusual first name...)

We have an unusual last name, so we are going with more traditional first names.

We have picked Matthew Christian and Kathryne Jan.

matthew...another one of those great strong, little bit oldfashioned names...



i really like that spelling of 'kathryne'......

Those are all great names I like the names Collin or Connor for a boy and Alexis or Allison or Allisynn for a girl

That "Kathryne" is my MIL. Jan is my mom. So that one has meaning.

For the boy name, I've just always loved Matthew. I origionally wanted the French spelling Mattieu, but when I met DH, and he had a French last name, I thought that might be over kill.
