Default Hey!

I love the name Rhylee. That is really cute, I may steal that from you (ha,ha). I hadn't thought about spelling ryan different, that's a good ideal.

I am naming my baby Rhylee if it is a girl. I was going to use Ryan if it was a boy ... if I had 2 girls (you know my next one) I was going to do Rhyan. But now it's either Rhylee (girl) or Jase (boy).

Default Hey!

If I have a boy we will name him John Scott after his daddy & my grandfather that passed away. So it's a family name. I haven't decided what I will name the baby if it is a girl. I love the name Kaitlyn but it is so over used.

ssevart - both girls could have the same middle name. Maybe y'all think that's crazy. We have already decided that when we have 2 boys, both of their middle names will be Anthony.
So while I'm posting, I may as well tell you all of our future children's names.
Hank Anthony
Joseph Anthony
Hannah Grace
Hope Marie
And we'll probably never have a #5 but I want to name him Toby Wyatt and call him Wyatt. DH's name is Toby.

Now if only I could conceive baby #1

Default Hey!

The most important thing is to have a happy healthy baby, but I want a little girl so bad! Dh don't really care, my mom wants a granddaughter too. I will still be happy if it is a boy. I am just so happy that I was able to get pregnant.

I heard the name Teagan the other day, and I really like it. What do you guys think? I heard it for a girl, but do you think it could be a girl or a boy?

Default Hey!

I like the name Teagan for a girl, not sure about a boy. That name made me think of another name I like for a little girl, Reagan. Not my favorite name but cute.

If we have a girl her name is going to be Mayan...we are still playing with middle names. The club we met at is called the Mayan Club

If a boy Carlos Luis. Carlos is DH middle name & also his Dad's and Luis is my Dad's middle name. So it's a family name. I would prefer something with more pizazz but looks like that's what we are working with.

Default Hey!

It's so funny that you said that. Men are so paticular about boy names. Most of the names I like my Dh will say that sounds sissy, or do you want your child to get beat up. Girl names he isn't as strict about. Men & their manhood, crazy!

I think that is VERY true!! Maybe when I eventually get pregnant, it will be a girl, and we won't have to argue over boys names!!

Betsy-very cute names. I like names that have meaning & story behind them. If I have a little girl her middle name will be either Anna or Maria (my moms name) I will just pick which name sounds best.

i recently met a teenager with a really neat name..... Xela .... pronounced 'shay-la'...... i thought it was a variation of sheila until she told me the spelling...her irish day spent come peace corp or similiar time as a college student in south america... i think she said Xela was the name of a woman he met there, a local-goddess name derivative...... she's got to be one of the very few 'x' names in her class ...

That is really unusual. I love the idea of having a "different" name, although I dont want something too different...
It is fun to think of baby names.

DH and I talked about this before we were even married

For a girl we agree on Cleo Jean. His Paternal Grandma's name was Cleora...a little old fashioned so we shortened that, and then Jean is my paternal Grandma, and his sister, Mom, and Maternal Grandma's middle names. We will call her CJ for a nickname.

Boy names on the other hand....uhg! He wants to name the first boy William Walter (His two Grandpas' first names). Poor Kid, what will we call him???....those are like two "old man names" to me! The only nickname that comes from either of those that I will call him is WILL, period. I hate Billy, there are already about 6 Bill's in our circle of family and friends, Willy is just asking to be made fun of
