Age shouldn't have anything to do with it in this case, May.

Have you taken any other steps than just 'doing it'? For example, ovulation tests, and stuff?

I definitely suggest seeing your doctor. I have trying for 2 years now and finally went to the dr a few months ago. There's so much more involved in getting pregnant then just doing the deed. And if you find anything that works let me know! Good luck!

I have been ttc since 12/2003 ..we recently went to a fertility doctor who diagnosed me with PCOS.

I am now trying OPK and charting my temps to find out if I am ovulating at all.

Good luck to you!

Default ttc

If your not trying anything other than doing the deed you should definitly try an ovulation kit. If you still hav your doubts try a male fertility kit, they cost about $40 to $50. You can also look into things that enhance fertility lilke food, vitamins, and herbs.

Default Infertility

Hi everyone

I've been with my partner for 5 years and have spent the last two trying for a baby. After the last negative test result my partner and i were crushed and decided to see a doctor. I'm having tests done now and am waiting for the results and i'm scared to death.

Hi, I have been ttc for over a year and I have been undergoing some tests. Did the 3hr bloodwork and HSG, those tests seems to be okay. This week I am going for an ultrasound. My DH had a semen analysis done twice, first time was not too good, waiting on the results of the second. He has a five year old son. It is very frustrating but got to keep thinking positive. Things will work out for all of us here who are ttc.

allyjam - I posted a response to your other question. Feel free to jump into the TTC forum. Everybody is really great! A few of us, including myself are at the same point in testing (I go for my HSG tomorrow). Had CD3 bloodwork last week and had an ultrasound about 3 weeks ago. dh's first SA was low on motility and morphology. He is going for the 2nd in March. Stay positive...and join us in the TTC forum!

Default re: trying to have a baby

i agree. age has nothing to do with it... as long as both of you are doing the deed. i'm basing it from my friend's experience. checking in with doctor boosts confidence though.
