Default Trying to concieve

Hello everyone! This is my first time on a message board, so bear with me. My husband and I have a 5 year old son, and have now been trying to have another child for the past 2 years. We finally went to the Dr and I have been through 3 rounds of Clomid with no positive results. Today was the hardest because this last round of Clomid had given me 2 good eggs and I was feeling so positive, so naturally when the PT turned out negative this morning I was crushed. I'm only 29 and haved tried everything I can think of to conceive. I'm open to anyone's suggestions if there are any. Hope you all have a nice day.
Stacy

Hi Stacy,

Welcome to your first forum!

I am saddened to hear your situation and wish there was something I could say or write to make it better.

Although I don't have much advice to give you, I hope you can gain some support from the other members here. I am sure there are many woman out there with similar problems, and it usually only takes one to break the ice.

I wish you the best.

Well, keep your fingers crossed for me please! I actually got a positive result on my last PT but it is pretty early. I'll be taking another test in a few days to verify and until then I'm trying not to get to excited, but it's hard not to. This was my 4th round of clomid and I had 3 eggs to work with so hopefully that did the trick. I've heard a couple things about taking baby aspirin to help keep a pregnancy, has anyone else heard about this?

Well, we finally did it. 3 positive tests and should be about 4 weeks along now. Yeah!! Been feeling very sick and tired all the time, my friends keep telling me it will be a girl. I'm trying not to get excited though, because of the previous miscarraiges, I'm absolutely terrified of losing this one. All I can do is take care of myself and the rest is in God's hands.

Default lack of cervical fluid

This is my first time on in this chat room. I have a 3 1/2 year old and I have been trying for a second for 1 year. I have had 2 miscarraiges in the past 6 months. I have tried Clomid for 4 months ( one of my miscarrages happened on Clomid) The Clomid dried my cervical fluid, and shortened my Lutel stage. Both of these side effects are often left out when the doctor recomends Clomid. I only mention this because it was a waste of my time to take Clomid for 4 months. I'm now looking for way to create the cervical fluid I lack. I have heard about egg white??? Does anyone have any thought on creating cervical fluid. I have been given progerstron suppository to help with my short lutel stage. I just need some help with fluid during ovulation...

Default lubricant

I have read about taking cold medicine that has the guifanesen in it, I think this is the ingredient, anyway its supposed to be the one that things the mucus. check on that. I conceived after 10 years and many infertility treatments, I was taking a herb called Dong Quai, its supposed to regulate the females cycle.
