Good morning girls! I'm glad this week is now half ways over! I was thinking about what my dr told me after my surgery. She wanted me to go to an RE as my next step. I just couldn't figure out why since my tube is non-fixable and I ovulate on my own. At least I think I do. I responded well to clomid and femara everytime. So I don't think i'd need shots. If I had the HCG shot that would release all eggs from left and right ovary....right? I have a round of Femara left that I was thinking of taking so i'd produce more follies, but not sure if I should since the dr didn't tell me to. I'm losing hope and we haven't even started trying this month! My endo is gone and my left tube hates me My aunt only has one tube though and got pregnant 2 times.....this stinks! I'm ready to catch my break darn it!!!!!!

Rebecca~I remember you mentioning that to Irene....thats what got me thinking lol.

Hope everyone has a good day! I've had something wrong with my pupil that I think is related to the vicodin I took 2 days ago. At least I hope so! Its dialated rather large compared to my left eye. I can't read anything close up either! I'm just falling apart!

Melissa - I'm so glad things went so well! That's great you can get the IUI done this cycle. Score for better insurance too! It sucks you had to tell the 2 other teachers but maybe they will surprise you and be supportive.

Deanna - Maybe you could just make an appt. with an RE just to hear what he/she has to say about your situation. Don't lose hope this month, you haven't even O'd yet Get bd'ing!!!!
I don't know what to tell you if that's a side effect from Vicodin, I only took half once and it made me feel way to looney.

Deanna - Maybe the RE will have more info for you. They are the specialists and can point you in the right direction. Maybe getting a trigger shot is the key for you?? I'd probably call about the dilated pupil, too.

Deana ~ I'm not sure as I don't follow CT much anymore but it sounds like you just had surgery from your post, but anisocoria (unequal pupil size) can be caused by a number of muscarinic blocking drugs that are often used before surgery. Anyways, a common one is scopolamine, used to dry up glandular secretions prior to surgery but if it gets in your eye for example it can cause that one to dilate (they just block the parasympathetic control of the eye), usually lasting 3-5 days I think. Another example of these drugs is tropicamide, this is what the optometrist uses to dilate your eyes just much shorter acting than something like scopolamine. Anyways, this usually is not a big deal at all but I would go ahead and call your dr. to let them know and see if they have any concerns. Nice to get that stuff on the record. HTH

Rebecca ~ I think tomorrow would be the last u/s for this cycle and they would do it before the trigger. My u/s is at 8:30 and then I have to hang around until 10 to go to another part of the building to get my trigger, dumb huh? Like, why can't the nurses just give me the trigger?

Irene ~ How on earth does the other tube pick up the egg???

Deanna ~ That is really weird about your pupil. Kayla had a really good response to all that, hope it goes away really soon!

Well, we have a follow up appointment tomorrow afternoon to discuss the results of the tests I had done 2 weeks ago. (can't believe it's been that long already.......)

I'm worried. The nurse wouldn't tell me the results over the phone, but did say that the HSG was fine and SOME of the blood work was ok. I've been a basket case since. Guess we'll find out tomorrow what the next step is. Hopefully there will be some kind of answer as to why we've lost 3 babies. *sigh*

It's going to be a long night.

Ugh my ovaries feel so full today - I can't help thinking it might be imagination though or something unrelated like gas. But it hurt to BD last night - every time there was deeper penetration my sides hurt. Even with all this, I can't help looking at my chart and thinking that I might have Oed on my own on Monday b4 doing the HCG shot on Tuesday - my EWCM pretty much dried up right around then too Oh well at this point there is nothing that can be done except wait 2 weeks and see when/if AF shows.

Jen - for your results. Hopefully you'll get a really good explanation of everything and a plan for going forward.

Mel - I think since when the egg is released its kind of floating in between the ovary and fallopian tube that there's some way for the opposite one to pick it up - its so hard to visualize and I don't know how likely it is, but it can happen.

Deanna - I don't think it can hurt seeing an RE and getting an expert's opinion. I definitely wouldn't rule it out until you've heard what they have to say.

Morning girls! I'm so glad this week is almost over! I slept for 12 hours last night! I don't know what my problem is. I'm very tired and I feel weak. I'm taking my vitamins thats for sure.

Kayla~Thanks for the input. That all makes sense. My pupil is starting to go back to normal I think. My vision is still a little weird, but nothing like it was on Monday. I had lap surgery last Friday, so i'm sure I had lots of drugs in me.

Irene~I have my fingers crossed! This will be the longest 2ww ever! I'll probably call the RE and see. I just sucks! I need to start temping again, but I keep forgetting. I'm also going to do OPK's this cycle. I'll start them next week and BD starts next week.

Melissa~Hope everything goes good today!

Jen~Nice to hear from you Hope you get some answers today at your appt.

Irene - I don't think you O'd on cd11. With today's temp, I'd say yesterday was possible, though. When I took clomid, it was extremely uncomfortable to bd. Felt like my ovaries were being pushed up through my bellybutton. I think it's from the additional hormones.

Jen - Good luck today.

Irene - I felt the same way Rebecca did on Clomid, my insides were sore. Probably not as sore as you are with how well you responded. When are we going to see some Montana pics?

Deanna - Do you have a referral for an RE or do you have to find one?

Becky - Hi!

Irene ~ I was to agree with Rebecca and say you O'd yesterday as well. Yeah, when are we going to see Montana pics?

Jen ~ KUP!

Karyn~My dr told me to go to the RE but I don't think the office here needs a referral. I'm very stubborn! The dr there is well known I believe too. I'll Bd like crazy this month and next and hopefully go see the RE after the 1st of the year.

Irene-The month they upped my dose and I had more follies I was definitely more uncomfortable. Don't remember it effecting BD. Just my recommendation.......stop temping. You will drive yourself crazy about whether or not you missed O, if the trigger was too late etc. I only temped a few times at the end to see if my temp had dropped and whether or not to expect AF.

The wedding was amazing. It was an absolutely beautiful day, I looked amazing, and so did J. I don't have any pics back yet, but as soon as I do get some, I will absolutely be posting them! Our photographer has been sick, so she hasn't had the chance to get any of them done. She did tell me that even after she deleted the ones that didn't turn out, she has over 900 pictures. I'm excited!

Well, back from the appointment. I apparently O'd already. So IUI is out. We didn't BD last night because we were tired. The nurse recommended BDing tonight and tomorrow night and that "there's still a chance." I cried most of the way back here and did some retail therapy at Target. I apparently don't fit the average follie growth of 2 mm a day like the nurse said. I should have paid closer attention to the O pains I was having last night.
