Rebecca ~ yeah, OTC suppositories. It is just weird and has never happened before.

Karyn ~ I'm interested in what the doc has to say about the 'au natural' cycle. Did I tell you that we saw The Duchess? Very good. Very depressing, but very good.

Tomorrow morning is my appointment at the RE, keep your fingers crossed that Cap'ns b/w works out and we can do the IUI!

Melissa - I can't wait to see The Duchess! Good luck today! Fingers crossed that you can move ahead! Can't wait to hear!

Rebecca - Yeah for bd! Are you doing the detox tea right through ovulation?

Mary - 1 couple is better than none! Yeah for finding the BBT, are you going to use it now?

Karyn - Well, no bd. DH (and I don't mean dear husband this time) WENT TO SLEEP! Last night was our ONLY night. When I showed him the postiive opk, he wanted to go right then, but we had dinner cooking..... He went to bed at 7:15, I went up with him and he fell asleep.

Yes, I've been drinking the detox tea up to O, but since I missed my O, I'll probably keep drinking it since the weather's changing and people are starting with the colds/flus etc.

Well I had a really interesting RE appt yesterday... turns out that I respond really well to follistim - too well in fact. On my right ovary I had a 17, 15, 13, 12, 12 & 10 and on the left side an 18, four 17s, 15, two 13s and two 11s. The doctor was shocked since he only had me do 100iu - he says they start 20 year olds at the lowest dose of 75iu but since I'm 34 he didn't think I would respond like that even at 100iu. He said to stop taking meds and I'm supposed to trigger tonight - no IUI though because there's a 10% chance of triplets or more since I would probably have at least 6 mature eggs. So back to timed BDing. My doctor said that he was surprised that we haven't conceived yet since judging from my response I have good ovarian reserve and DH has a good count. Yeah thanks

Rebecca - I wanted to BD last night to flush the pipes so to speak... DH fell asleep on me too and that was with me naked pressed up against him Luckily my DH is pretty good at flushing his own pipes. I'm sorry you missed your only night I would have woken him up!!

Karyn - maybe there won't be a next cycle - your chart looks pretty good!

Mel - ugh to more spotting - I hope its just from the YI suppositories. I hate those things too!!! I hope everything works out for the IUI. My DH had to do all sorts of tests first too - b/w and urine - I'm not sure what they were checking for but it does sound like it was state mandated for us too.

Mary - thats good that you got at least 1 couple even though you didn't even get the ad in! Hopefully you'll have more takers once you publish it. I can tell you what I know about the injects but they are really expensive if your insurance doesn't cover them (luckily mine does). My RE seemed to think you could get the same response from higher doses of clomid and if my insurance hadn't covered injects I probably would have just done that w/ more monitoring first.

Heidi - thanks for stopping by - thats what I figured too that with all the monitoring I probably wouldn't have to do anything on my own - I just got freaked out by all the EWCM. It was my first monitoring after the CD3 b/w (which I actually did on CD5 ) but since it was the weekend I'd had 6 days of meds. If I trigger tonight and O on Thursday that will be CD14 - thats early for me but normal for most!!

Irene ~ Holy cow about all those eggs! Wow!!!

Okay, I'm off to the RE, I have triple checked the b/w and with Cap'ns expertise on this now, it seems to all be there, so fingers crossed ladies!

Irene - I was too mad to wake him up and didn't want him to even touch me at that point. He KNEW and he shouldn't have gone to sleep. Jerk.

I can't believe how well you responded. Holy cow! That's a lot!!! You've gotta get one of those eggs, considering the trigger will release them all (at least, that's how I understand it to work).

You could be Irene and Mike + 8 - LOL

Rebecca - LOL - I told the doctor and nurse that if I could do a TLC show for extra money than we should go ahead with the IUI. You would think with that many, the odds are really good which is ironically making me feel even worse - I already told DH that if it doesn't work I will be even more devestated. Stupid roller coaster.

Mel Can't wait to hear how it goes.

Irene~That is awesome you responded so well! I have my fingers crossed for you

I'm back to work today sitting at my desk. Sucks. I want to go home and sleep still. My incision still hurts to touch it and I can't wear tight pants. AF is almost gone though! Hope everyone is having a good day!

Irene -That is awesome! Did you ever have monitoring during Clomid? I can't remember. I'd be bding like theres no tomorrow!!!! You go girl!!! And don't think negative, think positive. I'd watch your show everyday!!!!

Rac - Irene & Mike + 8, just had me totally LOL here at the office. Too funny!! And I agree, what a JERK!!! But unfortunately DH has done that to me a few times as well. Stupid boys! Maybe he could make it up to you tonight? And get one of them before it's too late.

Mel - Can't wait to hear what the RE says. And if I understand it, you do have one blocked tube? So when they do the IUI, do that only use that tube. I'm sorry if that's a stupid question. But DH keeps asking about what happens when/if they find a blocked tube. I told him that IVF was probably the only way, but I guess I'm wrong?

Deanna - I'm sorry your still not feeling well. But I'm glad AF is almost gone!

Karyn - I meant to use it this morning, but forgot. I kind of like not being totally obsessed with the whole temping thing, makes me feel like I'm more relax (sorry, I know I shouldn't use that word on here). And I think I have a pretty good idea from my cp when I actually O. But I'm sure I will break down either tomorrow or the next day. So silly.

JJ - When is your appointment? Can't wait to hear what you find out.

Talking about Roller coasters, have any of you heard the song from Kid Rock, Roll on roll on roller coaster, were one day closer and one day older, roll on roll on roller coaster, darn it I can't remember the rest of the lyrics. It's a good one, basically live life, we're all on borrowed time. I'm sure I've lost you all by now. LOL.

Mary - Unfortunately, It's too late. I O'd yesterday. That was our only window of opportunity since I'd still been spotting over the weekend. Oh well, 47 cycles, what's one more??

Irene-The first cycle I did 75 of gonal-f and only had 1 mature follie when I triggered. They upped my dose to 150 the second time and had a lot more follies. We did timed BD.....they gave me a specific schedule. I want to say BD night of trigger, skip next day and am and pm for O day and the following morning. I think I triggered CD9 that cycle because I responded so well and quickly. I usually O around CD17-19. All I can say is get in as much BDing as you can or what they tell you to do. Then you know you did all you could. That's how I felt. I think with those follies you have a great chance. G/L and I'll be thinking of you.

Rebecca - At least you got BD in on the day of your positive OPK! DH has fallen asleep too on the couch on our BD nights. Pisses me off good! I know he's tired from work so I have to attack his ass on the couch or get him to bed right away!
Have you had any weird side effects from the tea?

Irene - Holy eggs Batman! Yeah for lots of eggs! If all 6 eggs release, your chances are just amazing. I'm going to pray you get your twins!
Thanks, but to me my chart looks like all my other ones! Tomorrow my temp should start dropping. Of course I looked ahead too at Nov and Dec......AF will be here on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Great! What an emotional b*tch I will be!

Deanna - I remember being bloated for a while too. I hope you better soon for your BD marathon!

Mary - I wish I could stop temping but I can't I normally O on day 14 with a day 13 and 15 here and there but I just like the for sure date that FF gives. If I could stop I would! DH bought that Kid Rock cd and it's good!

Melissa - Hope you post good news later!

Hiya goils! I'm just now getting a chance to breathe, sit down and relay my story, so here's the scoop...
My lining was 11mm, one good follie on the right at 10.5 mm, two on the left at 16.5 and 14. They told me it was too soon to trigger and so I have to go in Thursday morning for another u/s and possibly the trigger then and the IUI on Friday. A couple of side notes, my co-pay today was $15, I thought I was going to have to pay $175 but my new job has better coverage, yay! The IUI, if we can get it done, is kind of interesting, Cap'n will give his sample at a facility near our home and then I would pick it up and drive it to the RE in Oakland (about 30 miles away) 2 hours later. So, if everything went according to the above schedule I have to scramble and find a sub for periods 1 & 2 on Thurs and 5 & 6 on Friday. I'm a little bummed I'm going to miss some costumes from the 5 & 6 kids but on the other hand it would be nice to say that my kid was conceived on Halloween In my scramble to find a sub for Thursday, I had to break down and tell 2 co-workers what was going on. erg. I didn't want to have to tell people at work, oh well, at least it's not the pg english teacher.

Mary ~ Apparently, according to the RE my left tube is not blocked, the hysteroscopy showed an open tube, but the HSG did not have any dye going through the left tube. The fact that they are looking at the follies on my L side and if I actually get pg this cycle will maybe make believe that it is not blocked, but until then, I'm skeptical...

Irene ~ That is so exciting! The possibility of getting your twins! Get to BDing girl!

Rebecca ~ bleh. You know I have had several cycles like that due to spa
