Hi my name is Kristy, and im 21 years old and I have a three year old daughter. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for over a year now, with no luck. I just recently starting charting my temps. It is so heartbreaking to see that negative pregnancy test. Its especially painful for me because Im an ultrasound technician, and I see pregnant women every day.... A lot that didnt even try, didnt know they were pregnant, have a hundred other kids, or just plain dont want the child. I think I have made myself sick over the whole ordeal because my periods are usually within a day or two off around the same time each month. Well I was supposed to start last wednesday according to my fertility friend, and last months period. But Its monday, and still no signs of aunt flo. Ive been feeling sick and more tired than normal lately. I took a PG test last Monday, and Saturday, and both were a Neg. I guess part of me is still holding on to the hope that I am pregnant, but deep down I know i am not. I scanned my uterus on Thursday, but my bladder wasnt full enough, and i couldnt see my uterus very well. My endometrium looked thick, but again i couldnt really tell if there was a gestational sac because I wasnt full enough. I will probably look again this week, and also make a docs appt. Anybody else have this problem?!!

Hi Kristy and welcome. Most of us chart on FF as well. If you'd like, create your home page and post the link for us. We will be able to look at your chart, too. We might be able to see something there that you don't. If you've been feeling sick and more tired than usual, you may just have low levels of hcg that aren't being detected on the hpt. What brand is the test that you've used? We've come to the realization that First Response tests are a waste and do not give good results.

Yup... both times the test i used was first response... Have other people had negs here who were really pregnant?

Welcome Kristy! You will be glad you found this board. The ladies here are really great. I can remember one of the ladies here got a positive on one day with the First Response, and a negative the next day!

hmmmm... well i did test twice with the First response... Expected my period on wednesday... Took one on monday and saturday. Both negative. There is a GREAT chance that i could be pregnant, but I think I am just telling myself that I am and that is why i am not getting my period and having all these pregnancy symptoms. Its so strange. Although now i have a little more hope due to the first respose comments

Kristy, you use Fertility Friend? Are you temping? If so, do you know when you ovulated?

I JUST started temping like a week ago, so i cant tell yet... but my temps are running from 97.0-97.4. I do wake up a lot in the morning around the time my alarm goes off so i think that might mess them up, and also, i sleep with a fan on my face... so i dont know

Kristy - It's too hard to tell since you haven't charted the entire cycle. Also, that big drop in temp isn't a good indicator... sorry. But, that doesn't mean that you're not pg, like I said, we really need to see an entire cycle. The fan blowing on your face is probably not helping the temps, either!

I tested with FR and got negatives. Finally, 18dpo, I got a very faint positive, but my EPT was instant. I'll not buy FR again.

well if my period doesnt come by friday, I am going to buy an EPT i think. thanks for your advice. I will keep you updated!
