Default menopur injections this month

I had done my own injections of menopur and found out from the ultrasound that I had 2 mature follicles on one ovary. the other side was being lazy and just had a small one. Then I did an injection of Novarel. Now today I start the Progesterone tabs. We are planning on doing the IUI next cycle if I don't become pregnant. I just wonder what kind of chance is there to become pregnant on the IUI. My doc wants me to get a pregnancy test in around 2 weeks. Why so soon? Why not wait to see if I get my next cycle?

Have you done an HSG yet (the dye test)? If not, the doctor will probably have you do that before the IUI. In order to do the HSG, they need to make sure you are not pregnant.
Has your doctor explained to you your chances of getting pg with IUI? For each person it is different. If it is a male fertility issue, your chances are probably really good (if you don't have any factors). The fertility complications (issues) determine your chances.

There are a couple different IUI threads in this section. Also, there is a post "What have you done and what comes next?" It gives good basic info as to the testing some of us have done and the treatments we are trying.

Good luck!
