Default maybe trying to hard

Maybe you guys saw my post but i got pregnant in april of 05 and then in june had ovarian torsion. I was rushed into emergency surgery that night and then miscarried. Getting pregnant that first time took no time at all and ever since that incident my husband and I have been trying to concieve again without any luck. I have convinced myself that something is wrong with me and I am getting ready to call my doctor to discuss fertility option. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions? PLEASE!!!!

All of these woman on here are really helpful and if we dont have an answer we will at least be understanding of the emotions you are expierencing.

Default methods of trying

We are using OPK because that is what helped us the first time. This month was difficult to find out that I was not pregnant because this month would have been by due date and when I found out I was not pregnant I had a breakdown because I really wanted it this month.

I totally understand how you feel, I freaked a little this month too. For whatever reason some months are easier than others.

Lisa-
I am freaking this month too. We will be here for each other. It just feels like you are teh ONLY one that can't get pregnant sometimes.

I recently moved and so to get in with the OB/GYN taht comes highly recommended I have to wait until APRIL 27th. I am going crazy waiting to talk to her. I had no problems with my son. It took us 2 mos of trying. No charting, no temping, no OPK's no nothing. SO it makes me wonder WHY it isn't happening. Up until now I have used nothing because my cycles are very regular and I can't detect ovulation but I may be assuming and not KNOWING. If Af comes this month which I think she is....After testing this AM and getting a BFN...I am going to buy a OPK.

Did yo uever talk to your doctor??? What did they say?

Cartersmommy - My Hubby and I have been trying for 4 years (since we got married) and no luck so far. Beginning to wonder if we are BDing correctly! Anyways, that has to be just as frustrating to be able to get PG the first time, then to take a little longer for the next one. I am sure a BFP is coming your way soon.

Baby Dust to all!

Not sure what an ovarian torsion is, but I got PG with an ovarian cyst 5 yrs ago (have a health girl). Dr said it would burst on it's own. Well don't know if it ever did go away or not. I've been trying to get PG again for over a year. Had an U/S few mos ago only to find out that both ovaries have cysts now. Dr still says it won't interfere with getting PG.
Not really sure if I belive DR or not.

I understand how you feel. My husband and I have been married for 5 years. We ttc in 2004 and were pleasantly surprised when I conceived after our first try. But I miscarried at 10 weeks. Since then, have been trying to conceive but each month, the result is negative. I've been seeing a fertility doctor, been on clomid for 8 cycles and tried alternative medicine, but still no news. My doctor wants to do a laproscopy on me to find out if my tubes are fine. Has anyone done this before? Will be going for the surgery next week. I really don't know what to think ... am worried about the pain, what if I still don't conceive after that .... the scars, weight gain ... oh dear! its getting really stressful for me.
