So, my girlfriend at work just told me she thinks she’s pg. It’s cool. We’ve talked briefly about it before, b/c she’s 35, been married to her DH I think 6 years, off BCPs about 1.5 years. Never been actively ttc, but she’d finally decided somewhere in the middle of that that she did want to have a child (there are two steps from DH’s 1st marriage, and they were very young when they got together). And it’s been a while. I think she might have endo – I don’t remember if she told me she did, but I know she gets really bad AF, gets so bloated that she can’t wear her pants, stuff like that. Anyway, her cycles vary a bit, 28-33 days; she’s on about CD40 or so now, so by my estimation, she’d be about 5.5wks, if she is. She said she’s feeling little pulling or poking type twinges way down low. I told her I’d bring her a test tomorrow. It’s kind of exciting, but if she is, I’m going to say not to tell anyone at work for a while – cause then I’ll have to listen to them ask her every single day how she’s feeling and endless questions. It’s been bad enough with my bosses’ daughter being pg, and she doesn’t even work there. The people I work with ask questions incessantly, and…ugh. I won’t mind or feel bad, or even mind talking with her only about it, but it’s all the questions and constant chatter from others that I don’t need right now. Not that what I need would be her primary concern, but…LOL. She’s a pretty laid back person, and can certainly keep a secret. So, that’s the news for today so far. Whee…

Rebecca - I don't wear foundation, I think that's why I'm so psycho about making sure the lotion has it! After I'm done on this site, I'm checking out Arbonne's website, I might be pm'ing you with an order!
Both my sisters use nothing but natural items. It's nice when we are all together for sleepovers, we try out each others' products!

Lisa - I'm definitely ready to have something bigger. If I try to put/take out something in my back seat, I usually get tangled in the front seatbelt! The car has done me good though, the back seats fold down & you wouldn't believe the stuff I've crammed in there! I bought this corner shelf made out of an old door. DH couldn't believe how I manged it in myself!

Karyn~I used to have an eclispe an older model. I really liked it, but thought I needed something bigger and got a sunfire. I hated that car! Which 4wd vehicles does DH want you to get? We have a 4wd Jeep Liberty and it came in handy a lot this past winter. Not sure how it will be w/o a 4wd vehicle

Stephanie~I know what you mean about all the pregnancy questions after you find out the person is pregnant. Thats what I don't like to hear! That will be really good if she is pregnant. You'll have to let us know!

Lauren~How is everything going? Your last comment you thought you were going to burn up! I get to start Femara again, so back with the hot flashes for me!

Girls here is my b/w results to what I believe they are. There are lines right down the paper, so for some it kinda cuts off the first few numbers. I can tell that some don't have anything in front of them. I believe my numbers are ok. Unless my prolactin is really 26.3. My dr has never tested my FSH level. I should've asked today for b/w tomorrow. It would be CD2, but still.

Free T4 - 1.85
Prolactin - 6.3 (I think doesn't look like a # in front)
TSH - .75
DHEA S -39 (I think, last draw was for sure 3 numbers and this is definately not)
Hemoglobin - 3.6
Hematocrit - 39.2

Hope everyone had a good Thursday! Greys is on tonight

Deanna - Your TSH, prolactin and T4 look good. I have to look into the DHEA, hemoglobin levels, though since I don't know much about them.

Karyn - Sounds good. Just let me know.

All you girls that were on clomid and charted.... did your temps do funky things?? I poas this morning - my first opk. Negative - but my temps are whacky. They're in the post O range. I didn't temp during AF or for the 5 days on clomid, but started after.... I certainly couldn't have O'd already, right??

Deanna please check to see if your hemoglobin is right. I am doubtful that it is because you would most likely be dead if that were right. that number is extremely low. if it is low your Dr might put you on extra iron to help boost it back up. being a women you should at least be over 10.

Good morning girls~
TGIF! I am so happy to have a weekend! It has been a WILD week at work. Kids are restless. Teachers are restless. I was supposed to be at Special Olympics volunteering today, but it is rainy so it has been rescheduled. My interview is this afternoon... Afterwards we're going to look at a few more houses.

DH sent me 2 dozen tulips yesterday for Mothers Day. He had heard me complain about how much I dread this time of the year, so he wanted to do something sweet. I love that man.

Bec~ You can see my charts while on Clomid (Jan, Feb, March 2007 cycles) and my charts were fairly normal. I dont think there was a lot of difference for me, but everyone is so different in how they respond.

Deanna~ I HATE being hot. It is just misearble for me. I have only had a few instances of hot flashes with the lupron, but when I do it is terrible. GL with the Femara!

Karyn~ Thank you!

Heidi~ Thanks for sharing!

Snowie~ Thank you for checking in on us! I think about you a lot and hope you're doing well!

Lauren - I'll check out your chart - and Betsy's and who ever else's I can find. You have a good dh. I'm really not looking forward to Mother's Day. Everyone seems to forget (or are afraid to acknowledge) that I had a baby, too. I still hold a lot of resentment about that.

Good luck at your interview and have fun house hunting!

Steph - Whassaaaaaap! I've felt out of the loop these past few months. Today is 4 weeks from my last shot, so I'm back in the game! I have just been keeping myself busy with spring cleaning, painting & landscaping. Have you heard any juicy gossip about Bret & Amber? Did you ever see my post about Destiny being in Georgia Rule?

Deanna - Eclipse's really are great cars. Other than brakes & a few minor things, the car has been awesome. DH is a Ford man through & through. He likes Explorers, Expeditions and Mercury Mountainier(sp). I told him last night that we can wait another year. He said "Do you want to wait until your 9 mos preggo to get a new one!" I'm not picky so I really don't care!
Good luck with Femara!

Rebecca - While I was on clomid, I O'd later & my temps were higher than normal. My charts always looked so pretty on clomid!

Lauren - That was so sweet of DH! I love Tulips! Ooh house hunting, I hope you find something you like!

Karyn~I really like the Mercury Mariner's and they come in 4 cylinder so you would get pretty good gas milage. I looked at them, but DH said it was basically our Jeep Liberty. I hate the Jeep Liberty we have! Maybe its because we've had it for over 5 years!!

Lisa~My hemoglobin level is probably 13.6 then if that is really low. Some of the numbers were cut off. I was trying to guess lol. I will get all the correct numbers when I go in for my u/s.

Rebecca~I remember when I took clomid that my temps were kinda all over the place or they were higher than normal. After O they went up close to 99.....not sure if that gives you any insight or not. I wish I was doing clomid instead of femara! I think just cause clomid is so commonly used and femara isn't! I picked it up last though and will start it tomorrow!

Happy Friday everyone!!!

Deanna - Yes, that does help. Well, makes me a bit more at ease, anyway.

Good morning everyone! DH and I are going to get our passports this morning! AF is almost gone already Ever since I started taking meds the pain I get when AF is here is different. Its a pain, not a cramp. Its in my lower left side and feels better if I rub it. Just hurts when I walk. But is a constant pain and doesn't go away for 3 or 4 days! I don't think its normal! I think i've come to the conclusion.....i'm going to tell the dr I want the lap if i'm not pregnant in 3 months. No sense in wasting anymore time...right?

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Deanna - Ouch! That's weird, on meds I had more pain during O time but not at AF. At least she's almost gone though! Makes me want to go back to Mexico when I hear you say passports! Your doctor recently mentioned a Lap right?

Hi girls. Speaking of pain, a girl from school came over yesterday and we swapped massages. She gives a mean massage! It was great. When she was working on my abs, I had some serious discomfort! Both of my ovaries were crying. I'm wondering if that's from the clomid?? Maybe they are busy in there making follies?? I got another negative opk, though. Maybe tomorrow.

Dh and I are going golfing today. This will be my first time out with other people. I'm a bit nervous. Other than that, we're not up to much. My mom stopped over yesterday, but Melissa was here and we were doing our massages and homework assignment, so I didn't really get to talk to her much. I haven't even bought her a card yet. I'm just not into Mother's Day anymore. I guess I have a bad attitude.

Last weekend I was working on the pond. We got new plants and a few fish. Well, I dipped my arm in the pond not thinking about my watch not being water resistant. Oops. that's like the third time it happened, so now my anniversary present that wasn't even 2 years old is dead. Dh took me to the mall last night and got me a new one.... I'm spoiled.

Deanna/Steph- Hearing the chatter about a pregnant coworker is the worst. I got rid of one, and the other one, who so tactifully told me she was pregnant while I was doing my last IUI, (who I've barely spoken to since) is now very much showing, I just heard recently that she just told people. Luckily she is on the other side of the office.

Rebecca- I have print outs of all my charts, on the lower dose of clomid, my temps were less consistent, but the higher dose they were more "normal". Who knows. Hope you get your positive OPK today. Have you tried soaking your feet in hot water? supposedly helps the follies. Good luck with your IUI, and breathe. And close the cap quick. =)

Lauren - you hadn't told me about the interview. E-mail me.

Karyn- welcome back on the ride....please step in and buckle

Deanna - I think the time for the lap probably has come. It may answer some questions for you. Keep me posted.

Had one of those incredibly stupid fights with my husband yesterday. It was about Luna...we fight alot over the damn cat. anyway, we got it taken care of. Luna has now had her vaccines, and all her tests. She's a bit droopy right now, but hoping that 's just from the vaccines, our next big fight will probably be over the sterilization. Certainly gives me a taste of our different parenting styles although I always suspected it.

I ran across this one and thought of those of us who carried babies inside of us for some amount of time.

I know today is one of those poopy days where you'd rather hide from anyone in the public, cause invariably someone is going to say something stupid.

I have told this to quite a few people who are in this insanity. I truly believe that from the day you start TTC, taking vitamins, quitting bad habits, losing weight, medical treatments, etc. you become a mother. You are taking care of your body as if your child is within you, you are making decisions and dealing with situations as a mother, you breath, eat, BD for the purpose of being a mother. So a handful here, in my opinion have been mothers longer than some women who actually have a body to hold. I know it's not the same and it's a sucky ass consolation. But I believe whole heartedly that the babies we carry in our hearts and in our dreams are 100% ours and makes us Mother's. So with that said....Happy Mother's Day....and as previously mentioned Happy Women's Day. Love you guys.
