Mel~ This morning we all had goody bags of candy in our boxes. We also have boxed lunches being brought in today. Tomorrow we have "spa" day, with everyone getting a 10 minute hand massage. Although, it is me and a few others around here who are running the spa and giving the hand massages... like I know ANYTHING about that, but anyway. We also have a catered luncheon on Thursday. We have a breakfast on Wednesday... I'm not sure what else we have going on...

Bets~ I'm happy to see you posting! Nationally, Teacher Appreciation Day is the first week of May, but I am sure they pushed yours back because of the testing. Sorry I'm not giving you much! teehee... I just dont feel like there is much to say right now. I am sure I will be REALLY obsessed when the donor starts stims....

I need to think of something to call her other than "the donor"... It seems so impersonal for someone giving me such a gift...

Lauren - Weekend was good. Dh and I worked in the yard yesterday. I finally finished putting my pond back together after the winter. We went golfing yesterday and maybe it was the alcohol mixing with the clomid, but I almost threw a golf club and wanted to aim it at dh's head. I was walking toward the side of the fairway, looking for my ball, and almost cried. I don't feel anything growing in there, though. I don't really want to feel anything....

Betsy - No side effects....except for that little outburst yesterday, but I'm still not sure if it was the clomid's fault. I did wake up sweating this morning and had a 97.3 temp, but again, I'm not sure if it's the clomid or if it's because of the dogs. I woke up this morning to Tehva's head next to mine resting her chin on my shoulder. Those dogs give off a lot of heat.

I don't know if Dr. Indigo is still at the store or not. I can't imagine they'd fire her, though. I need to stop back in there some weekend.

Giving blood today was terrible!!!! They didn't have any butterfly needles.......why wouldn't a lab have butterfly needles?! At one point I told her to take it out that he was stinging and hurting to bad. Its worse when you look at the needle and see that no blood is even coming out! She was moving the needle around, thats what hurt the most! She took 4 viles. I was thinking that maybe this was a good time for me to have my levels checked again since i'm spotting very very lightly still. Today is CD26 and my temp looks like its going to slowly drop. Maybe i'll have a 28 day cycle. LP was only 11 days when I wasn't on meds......so i'm assuming it might be around that this time. We'll see!

Betsy~I think you've told me to walk before giving blood before...wish I would've remembered that!

Lauren~Hello to you too! I wonder what our schools around here do for Teacher Appreciation week. I have a friend thats a teacher and one thats a counselor for elementary kids.

Hope everyone has a good Monday! Happy Cinco De Mayo!!! Tomorrow is my BFF's birthday and we're all going out to eat tonight!

Lauren ~ Ooh La La! Can I come to your school? I was under the assumption that Teacher Appreciation week was this week too. We are doing State Testing this week (the last week) but that doesn't stop people from doing nothing for us. I can't wait to go to a school where I am appreciated!

We are also celebrating Employee Appreciation week, they are catering lunch for us tomorrow from the Camden Seafood hut, they have a trailer they pull in and cook everything fresh. Our menu is fried shrimp and flounder, boiled shrimp and baked chicken. Sides of cole slaw, fried, hush puppies, green beans, and banana pudding. Tea, lemonade and water too.

I had a incident with a coworker on Friday that really emotionally shook me to the core. I would love to hear what you all think. Elmo started this past week and has been awful, I actually was bleeding to the point of pouring, sorry if TMI. To make a long story short this coworker I thought was a friend told me that Forrest and I were being totally unfair to want to bring a child into this world at our ages. Believe me when I say this crushed me in so many ways. When I went to the doctor this past April I went with the intentions of making the arrangement of a hysterectomy, I even had Forrest in tow to confirm we had talked about it and thought it was time to throw the towel in due to our ages and bad Elmo's I was having. Dr. Stands wanted to get more aggressive before we threw the towel in, he said. I told him I asked three years ago to help us get aggressive, that I was not getting any younger. Regardless he has taken me off the clomid I was on a year and half and now am on Glucophage 500 mg three times a day with meals. Then if this has not helped adding the Clomid back on. Maybe I am just to darn old and need to throw the towel in, I do know my emotions are raging and I feel like I could cry at the drop of a hat.

Deanna so sorry for your situation today too, poor thing.

RAC right there with you emotionally, hang in there.

Lauren you are such a wonderful mother to those children. Love picking strawberries too.

Lauren, maybe you could make up a name for the donor so you dont have to call her that like Sarah or something so you and your DH could know what you were talking about

Lisa, I absolutely dont think you are too old. You will be a great mother when it happens and I think your coworker needs to have her head checked for thinking it was okay to pass judgement like that on someone. We have some friends that just got a little blessing 10 years after her last IVF baby (they have 2 IVF kids) and she is 43. She is loving having a new baby and says she might even enjoy it more because she is so much more relaxed

Thanks Lisa, I appreciate you sharing that with me. I have been on the verge of tears all weekend with this on my shoulders, I even asked the doctor's nurse today are we too old? She was so funny, she asked did we have love to share, and I said oh yes, she said then if it is meant to be it will be. I have tried not to blow this up, but this morning she was actually what I call mean in asking if we had come to our senses, and I popped back asking her if she was done being an a$$hole?

Hi Girls, i know i dont post much, i guess theres nothing to tell. I`ve been staying away from doctors since the year started, and last week, by force ,i guess, i was taken to a new doctor, who of course said nothing new,had an u/s and told me i may have a "fibroid" or something like that... that he needed to confirm with a saline u/s, blah blah blah. He wants me to do some bloodwork to check for antibodies, since i´ve had 1 loss and 1 chemical pg.
Im so Freaking tired.... i dont even want to have my blood drawn, i`ll have the saline u/s, when Af shows.

Betsy- Happy 5 de Mayo!!! im glad to see you posting. I miss your posts.

Lauren - Enjoy teacher apreciation week!! Im thinkng about a name for your donor.... hmmm..

Lisa- I think your coworker, didnt realize how mean her words were and how deeply they hurt you. Im sorry, you had to put up with that.

Lisa - Some people just don't know when to keep their mouths shut. Your repy to her was perfect. Don't let anyone tell you that you're too old. My cousin never even started ttc until she was 40.

Mari - Good to hear from you. Has anything shown up on any other u/s resembling a fibroid??

Thanks Mari and RAC, poor Forrest wants her number to call her so bad, he was so funny earlier today. He said I might be fat, bald, ugly and old, but I have a lot of love to share and she is just jealous that she doesn't have anyone who wants to make a baby with her to love. Yes she is single and Forrest age, not the type to get married. Thank you all, you have made me feel better, but it still hurts pretty bad that she meant it.

Mari, I know how you feel, you have to find where you need to be to go through all this, that is something you have to decide for yourself. We are for that last chance hope. Then we can say we tried and that is all we could do.

Lisa - So sorry you had to deal with such a dope. She has NO Right to make such a decision for you. Only you and your spouse know what is best for you! She does sound jealous. Do not let idiots like her take you down. Continue to fight! ((HUGS))

Lauren ~ I like Christie's suggestions for a name. I was going to suggest Debbie or Darcy or Dalila or Denise, something with a D, D for Donor...

Lisa ~ I'm so sorry that that happened to you, what nerve of some people!

Dana, Melissa and everybody thanks, you all are the greatest.

Lauren I like the idea of calling her Hope, that is what we all have here. Just my opinion.

Hi girls!

I left for Wisconsin Friday at 7am. I just got back yesterday around 4pm. My sister had a girl....Natalie Rose! I had so much fun up there! My other sister & mom also came up Friday night. It feels good to be home. Of course I have major cleaning to do today! When I got home yesterday, my entire house smelled of burnt pizza. Sunday night DH put a pizza in & fell asleep for a few hours!

Lisa - Wow, your off to a good start with your garden! I need to at least get my spinach & sugar snap peas in this week. Your co-worker is a douche-bag! Good for you to stand up to her! She is unmarried you said? Well she is probably just jealous & lonely. It absolutely pisses me off when people put their 2 cents in like that.

Deanna - I am all done with the shots! Friday will be 4 weeks since the last one. Now I just wait for AF! I have spent many hours on-line researching endo & I've heard a lot about spotting. Some said anywhere from 1-2 weeks before AF and then after AF as well. I always had 1-3 days of brown before AF. It will be interesting to see what my cycles are like now. Yeah for a new car, what did you get? I'm starting to look now too.

Lauren - Those kids are so lucky to have you! I love strawberry picking! I have a ton of great memories from my childhood of fruit picking! My mom took us ALL the time. My sister now does it with her kids & they love it. Next year you will have one more to add to the tradition Sounds like you will be enjoying your appreciation week! I hope you don't have to give your hand massage to yourself I totally didn't mean that to sound dirty!

Melissa - Hi! I can't believe your school doesn't do anything for the teachers! I hope you do find another school that's better! How many days do you have left?

Steph - Hi!

Betsy - Glad to hear you're doing good!

Rebecca - LOL@ the golfing incident! During my past 3 months, I have looked at DH on a few occasions thinking 'You don't even realize how close you came to being taken out'. I'm with you on Horizon milk, I hate the taste of regular milk & never drank it. To me milk has a funny taste. The organic milk actually tastes good to me.

Karyn~Glad you had a good time in Wisconsin Wow 4 weeks already...time is flying by! I've read about spotting with endo too. That is the only symptom I have of endo, if thats what I have. I just don't want to result to having the lap done w/o exhausting all other treatments. I'm afraid to go under for one thing! But we'll see....I might not be able to wait any longer. I'm a very impatient person! DH and I ordered a Lincoln MKZ. I love those cars and i've had my eye on them since they came out. It won't be done till Aug and if things change, we're not held to buy it when it comes in. Good luck in looking for a new set of wheels too!

Rebecca~I forgot to tell you....I went out and bought organic milk Friday. I like it! Can't tell the difference at all and DH doesn't even complain. He eats cereal every morning and has been using it as well. Slowly trying to be healthy!
