Rebecca~Any SE from clomid? I didn't really have any, but headaches and hot flashes. My dr didn't really say much to me about the Femara, so I had to do my own research. I did see that its been successful for people, so that gave me some hope. I'm going to see if I can do clomid again next month since I took this month off.

Bina~I might live a sheltered life....i've never heard of organic milk?? Do you buy that in the regular grocery store? I have organic waffles lol. I'm trying to eat healthier, but the stuff is soo expensive!

Karyn~Nice to see you! You are done with shots now right?

I am so mad at my body right now I just went to the RR and the TP was tinted a little brown. So i'm starting to spot lightly again this cycle! I am probably 9DPO at the most. My first OPK was CD15. I just don't get it! My HSG showed the inside of my uterus being clear and my tubes....so what is causing this? If I do have endo and its on the outside of all that, can that really cause spotting? I think and i'm hoping its hormonal. I'm going for a ton of b/w Monday. Nervous, hate giving blood!

Hope everyone has a great weekend

Yeah, why DOES organic milk have a weeks-long expiration date, and 'regular' milk is so much shorter? I buy a three pack of 1qt cartons at Costco, and it's like, 6 weeks or something. I like the taste just fine -- there was no adjustment or anything.

Lisa, yeah, the weight loss hadn't occurred to me until just then, but they say being heavy can affect fertility and all that stuff negatively (though none of us can seem to remember how exactly), so why not the opposite? I'm glad to see you posting more; sorry you are hitting rocky roads right now. Hoping things get better for you two SOON.

Okay, so after short cycle, and my OPK debacle of the past few days, then the mega-positive yesterday morning, last evening, my EWCM presented. SO, I'm still O middle of last night or this morning. So with those two confirmations, I'm confident to start my progesterone cream tomorrow morning, CD16. I'm going to be VERY interested to what my cycle does this go-round...

Re: clomid and side effects -- I never noticed any until later in my cycle, not actually while I was taking it. And mine were very mild. Only that one migrane stands out in my head (no pun intended).

Deanna - Did your RE actually tell you that you didn't have endo after the HSG? Just curious because my RE said they could not detect endo strictly by and HSG she could make assumptions by the appearance and the results but she said they can't see endo with the HSG...they would have to do the Lap to find out for sure.

Deanna - I think its good that you're going in for b/w but I looked at your chart and you already had your progesterone levels checked in a prior cycle and it was really good. Are you still with the same doctor and did he mention what tests he wants to run?

Deanna - Nope, no SE. I had a dull ache in my head yesterday, but I think it's because I was tired. and Yes, you can get organic milk in the regular grocery store. I personally buy Horizon, but there's Stoneyfield's and and a couple others that are popular.

Steph - I think it lasts longer because it doesn't have all of those hormones and antibiotics in them to reduce the shelf life?? It's just pasteurized milk, nothing else. Just guessing. It's nice though because this way less milk gets wasted. It's too darned expensive to dump down the drain, but dh won't drink it, so I'm on my own.

I believe organic milk lasts longer because it most are ultrapasteurized heated to a higher temperature than normal milk. Killing most anything that can grow in a refrigerated environment. This also cost more, yet another reason organic milk costs more.

Deanna & Dana ~ I was under the same assumption that endo could not be detected by an HSG, only blocked tubes and that was why my doctor scheduled the u/s the following week. They found nothing. Am I getting the u/s mixed up with only the ability to look for polyps and fibroids? Either way, Deanna, you and I are in the same boat with the spotting. I just stopped spotting a couple of days ago and spotted a couple of days before starting AF, check out my charts.
[Edit: Between the end of last cycle and the beginning of this cycle, I bled for 15 days. That is not cool.]

Mel - the only true definitive way to "find" endo is with the lap. Sometimes they can see something with the saline u/s I believe. I really wish they could figure out what is causing your spotting

Hi girls! I've been cleaning my house since 6 today! DH and I ordered our car tonight. I'm soooo excited! Won't start making it till June and it will take 90 I guess. Thats fine. My dr didn't tell me I didn't have endo based on my HSG. She just said that my uterus was clear and so were my tubes. My mom told me that her endo was wrapped around her tubes and by her ovaries I guess. I wonder if I do have endo on my bowel or bladder.....not sure. I don't want the lap at all! But i'll have it done if it increases my chances some more!

Melissa~This spotting really sucks! Have you done the sa u/s? I don't remember....i'm not spotting now. Just that once today. I went and got my teeth cleaned today and what do ya know....the chick was pregnant! You know when they do that polish crap and you rinse, when I sat up I was really really lightheaded, I had to blink a few times to try and focus. I mentioned it to her and she said "maybe you're pregnant" luckily she had the thing in my mouth when she said it!

Yes, the only definitive way to know if you have endo is through a lap. They suspect I do (blocked tube, saline u/s showed a dark area pushing down on my uterus), but I guess we'll never know unless I do a lap...

Bec~ Glad to hear you've been feeling pretty good! I had little to no s/e on clomid.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Well, by last evening, my EWCM had turned to lotiony. I started my progesterone cream this morning. Did I mention I feel like a 'kid' again with all these changes and trying to watch so closely? BUT, I'm pondering, and with the *bang* OPK+ after several days of no +, then a day and a half of EWCM, and turning obviously to lotiony...compared to my old common several days of +OPKs and several days of EWCM (like 3)...with just those few little signs, does it sound to anyone else like a bit more of a powerful and normal O? Here's hoping...

Steph-I've only EVER gotten one postive OPK per cycle, so I would say it could be good sign. I only use FMU and the digital ones so don't know if that makes any difference or not.

It's never mattered before; FMU, mid-day, evening, whatever, and never fail, I'd get a strong positive OPK for like, 2 days morning and night! And I've always had multiple days of EWCM (except on clomid). But for me to have a 26 day cycle (short), then no positive OPK am or pm CD11, 12, 13, no apparent 'build up' of the line, then ~BANG~ super positive CD14am, w/EWCM that afternoon until daytime CD15, turning to lotiony by evening CD15...dang. I'm confused, and I'm basing a lot on ONE cycle, but this is WAY different than before. It almost seems like a car engine that starts right up powerfully (what I just saw), compared to one that cranks up a little before it turns over (what I used to see before?). Never been able to temp (unusual to have a sleep schedule or be asleep for 6 hours), so being totally certain has always been out of the question.

OMG, I feel like I need fertility 101 class. I feel like a dope. Do you know I actually read the directions of the OPK the other day...just to be sure of...uh...I dunno. Like reading the menu of a restaurant you used to work at or something. LOL! I'm confused...but hopeful. ?

I just had to show off my new blinkie -- the black and white checked one. Groovy huh? Anyone else who wants to use it is welcome.

Deanna ~ No I haven't had the saline u/s and honestly that scares me to death. I had a friend have it done and she was bedridden for two days b/ of it.
