Steph - if it's been several months, I can't say I have an answer. I would think that there would still be viable sperm there, but how much - no idea. This last time we went for the SA/IUI, we hadn't bd'd in 13 days and it was supposed to be between 2-5 days...... he had the best count ever. So, really, who's to say?

Okay. So no hard and fast rule? (OMG, bad pun could be made). Volume wise, it seemed to be quite plentiful.

Damn, you know, it would be easier if there were answer to know what to expect.

S'okay. I know it's a weird question. The whole thing is a weird situation that defies the norm and brings strange questions. *shrug* I guess we'll see.

Rebecca, know just what you mean, I can't even focus on work hardly today from wanting to bust out in tears about Little Abigail, I feel I have lost a family member too. Big hugs to you! I was so hoping for your miracle this month. Has AF showed? If not it ain't over until it shows. I think Elmo will show for me either tomorrow or soon too. Glad you are doing somethings special for you for a change. Have fun getting ready for vacation!

Rebecca I have had a few come to me today wanted to know why I was upset too, still just hard for me to believe. Funny how you care about people you have never met face to face, but I feel like I know a lot of you. Sniff, sniff!

Now we all deserve something good now. Enough bad! Go away bad stuff!

Thanks again girls. It wasn't as hard to take this time around for some reason. Plus, most of my attention (and dh's) was on Jen and all that is going on in her life right now. It was good to have something else occupy my mind.

today is our anniversary, too. Kinda sucked, but dh and I had a nice dinner out then spent some time working on the boat. He got his new motor yesterday and filled up a tub of water so he could run it for a bit (he's such a kid).

We decided that we're not doing another cycle. We feel that it's just supposed to be the two of us and our animals. Maybe one day we will be surprised, maybe not. At least I know we will have no regrets.

Rebecca-Happy anniversary! I'm glad you two had a nice dinner out and got to spend some quality time together. We totally support you in whatever decision you make with regards to ttc but I was wondering if I may put my two cents in? I just wanted to let you know that clomid took two cycles to work for me and I know drs recommend somewhere between 3 and 6 months. Also noticed that the IUI was done a day after O (please correct me if I'm wrong)? Again, you know I am behind you 100% whatever you decide. *bug hugs*

Snowie - You're right, iui was the day after O, but both my RE and my nurse assured me that there is a 36 hour window after the lh surge. As of right now, I don't think we'll do another. I just don't think I have it in me and I know dh can't handle the disappointment. Once AF does show, I will ask him again and see what he says. I might suggest a double IUI - the day of the surge and the day after. I'm not going to push him into it, though. I think we all get more optimistic about a cycle when there's 'help' and that makes the end result harder to take.

I may just suggest another round of clomid and timed bd. I don't know.
