Steph ~ I have that soundtrack too! When I saw that movie in the theatres way back when, after the movie, I went to the bathroom and Julia Roberts walked past me and out the bathroom! Ugh. My boss's daughter is here and she and my coworker are in here talking preggo crap. I like them both, I'm just way overloaded. I told y'all, no one was going to stop talking about this, and I hear about it several times every single day. It's not going to stop. Kill me. Or make sure I get knocked up (and stay that way) next week. I need to go home. I need drugs. I need a normal life. I need candy. Or booze. Or a sledgehammer over the head. Ugh.

Oh, new drama in my life (indirectly). So last night I find out that my oldest step daughter is pg AGAIN (she's going to be...mmm...I have to count now...22 this September). This is the one who has the 2.5 year old that I helped raise his first year, and a 4.5 month old, she just married the infant's father a few weeks before he was born. Her husband also has a 3.5 year old from a prior relationship, so they have three between them already. Now she's pg again, and I hear tell that she's going to have an abortion!!! And that she was drunk last night and taking vicoden or something like that.
Yeah, okay, get knocked up all over the place, have all these kids, but get MARRIED, and then start having abortions as birth control? Excuse me, but WTF??? I mean, I figured she'd be knocked up again by year's end, but I wasn't expecting it quite this fast (it was about 7-8 months of being with both guys before when she got pg with the first two). So help me, if she has an abortion, I'm going to show up at her front door, pull her outside, slap her dead in the face, and tell her to forget she ever met me. We don't talk now; we haven't since the new kid was born. She couldn't be bothered to call me, even though I was there every time she'd go into the hospital with problems (usually dehydration and hypochondria), and a few times, I was the only parent there with her at all. Combine that with a bunch of stuff she's done, and she's off the list of people I am interested in having in my life. Drama, drama, drama. Oh for a peaceful and quiet life. I swear, I'm moving to the Bahamas or somewhere like that. Why do people think popping out kids is no big deal? Why don't they use birth control, abstain at the right times, whatever if they aren't/don't want one? WTF is WRONG with people? It's not like going to McDonalds and ordering up a Big Mac for Pete's sake.

Ugh Steph. I'm sorry to hear that. I don't get it either - if someone wants to self destruct thats bad enough but to take a little baby down with you is just wrong. I don't even know if there's any kind of good ending to that story...

Steph-UGH! she needs to be dragged in to the Dr. and get her tubes tied! My coworker's daughter sounds like her. She is barely 22 and already has 4 kids (none were planned) a loser bf, living on welfare AND every time she has a kid she asks my coworker if she wants to "take the baby"

Irene ~ I was thinking that just after I posted. It's awful, and what good is there now not matter what if this is the type of person she chooses to be? They were driving around in the car last night (I heard over the phone), under the influence, with the boys in the car (2 1/2 yrs and 4.5 months). I don't even think they were properly belted in cause there were other people and the car was full I guess. If I hadn't been the middle of the night with my psychotic already, I might have called the police. I don't remember the make of the vehicle or the license plate either.
Bina ~ I know it; I remember thinking earlier this year that she'd be pg again before the end of the year. But why wait until you are supposedly a 'grown-up' and MARRIED before you start acting like this? I don't get it...if she had acted like this with the first one, it wouldn't have been acceptable by any means, but it would have been a lot more typical back when she had nothing and no stable life and was 18, than someone who is MARRIED, with a car and a semi-stable life, and is an supposed to be an actual adult now! Bec ~ Know what? I think you're right.

Steph - I don't know how you can have so much paitence, I think I would have killed someone by now if I were you. You're definitely super-woman!
Rebecca - Your chart is seriously amazing. Is the doctors giving you a beta or are you planning on testing on a certain date? I am SO excited for you! |

Christina - If my temp stays where it is, I will probably test Tuesday. I'm not scheduled for a beta, though. If I get a bfp, I'll call the office and they'll probably have me come in for a draw.
