GL Melissa and Lauren, hope you both get good news this week on the jobs.

Melissa he drives truck, had been driving locally for 7 to 8 months but with the cost of fuel that job was not giving him much work, so he is driving longer hauls again. There are times he could be home at night, just has not worked that way yet. Praying it does, I miss the heck out of him.

Thanks Kayrn, me too, or that he gets home some during the week this week. Hope you get your flowers planted. I have tomatoes hanging on about the size of a tennis ball, if they just would turn red. Forrest says we can have fried green tomatoes, I told him he touched those tomatoes he might lose a hand. I want at BLT so bad with fresh tomatoes.

Good morning girls~
I accepted the job. I went and told my principal this morning, and we both cried a little... it is hard for me to leave. I adore my children, and I know they need a counselor so badly. I really feel like this is the best choice for me though... it is time for a change. SO, I guess I have A LOT of packing to do in my office. I need to do as much as I can in the next week or so, because after ET I will not be moving anything!

Sparky/Jen~ Thank you!

Bec~ Thanks! It was much quicker than I had expected, although I guess that is good, rather than having to wait and wonder...

Christie~ Thanks!!

Snowie~ Thank you! You're very sweet.

Melissa~ It is such a strange feeling to know that people are walking around in your house!

Lisa~ Sorry dh was so worn out. I havent heard about little cookie in a while! We need to see some new pictures!

Lauren ~ I know, it is a strange feeling! I've been packing up my stuff too. On the last day of school, I want to be out of here by 12:05 and no later! I'm not doing any crying over here, I'm eager to get out.

Lauren - That's great! You 'new' kids will love you just as much if not more.

Lisa - Garden? What garden? I haven't even started mine! This is the latest I have waited! I am hoping that maybe I can get it done on Tuesday. All the flower planting I have done has been at the campground that DH's grandparents own. With the Holiday weekend coming I will be there Thursday through Monday. I can't believe how your tomatoes are coming along, they will be red in no time! I love making fresh salsa! I could eat it everyday.

Hi everyone else! Anyone have any fun plans for Memorial Day?

Lisa and Karyn - I'm jealous! With my work/school schedule, I doubt I'll have time to take care of a garden this summer. Generally, I have it started by now but with the weather and massage clinics, I didn't get to it. I'm hoping to get my flowers this weekend. At least I'll have that much. It won't be the same without fresh tomatoes, but last year they were eaten by the dogs anyway!

Kayrn we love salsa too, I planted Jalapeno, Cayenne, Habanero and Green Peppers so we can make it and hot sauce too. Forrest loves hot pepper to just eat too. I like making pepper jelly too. Our squash and cucumber are about to bloom too, I can't wait. Other than that I don't have much else. I tried string beans and the deer have cleaned those out so I give. What I have I have in a small contained area with fencing around it so the deer can't get to it, or at least they have not figured out how to get to them yet. Hope you get your yard and garden done soon. Have fun, I love being in the yard planting and doing.

Good morning everyone! Calling for a bit of bad weather here this afternoon, hope it stays away. Especially the wind, I don't do that well, and with Forrest gone I will be shaking in my shoes for sure.

Poor RAC dogs ate her tomatoes, sorry you don't have time, fresh tomatoes are the best. Just run by and get you a plant or two and place them in a area the babies can't get them. I know how it is, but it is deer I fight.

Lisa - Darn deer! I haven't heard any home remedies either to keep them away. They have never bothered my garden, once in a while they will eat the apples that fall from the apple tree. I do have the dog-likes-tomatoes-problem that Rebecca has! Our dog will pull a nice, juicy red one right from the vine! I will come around the corner & see just his butt sticking out of my garden! I think I'm going to try canning salsa this year, haven't tried it before. My girlfriend used to do it & it was great.

Rebecca - I'm going to do Strawberry plants this year, I have a feeling my 4-legged friend will enjoy those as well! I hope you get your flowers in this weekend! Is the pond done?

Lisa - Jalapenos and Habaneros?? Hmmm....that's one way to keep the dogs out of the garden! LOL I wouldn't do that to them!

Karyn - Yes, the pond's done. I'll have to post a couple pics for you - maybe this weekend after I get my flowers planted. I'm sure your four legged little buddies will like strawberries!

Cassie - It's been 7 days already?? I guess it's going just a quickly as last month. I'm still temping every day just because I'm curious to see what the clomid does. So far they're pretty stable.

So girls, I need opinions. Dh and I are planning our vacation for next month. This is the first vacation that we will have gone on alone (without other friends or family) since our honeymoon. We're both really looking forward to it. The drive to Temagami is about 11 hours or so and we plan to spend the night somewhere to break up the drive. Here's a link to a place that I found and I really want to do the extra 'memories package' that includes champagne, roses, breakfast, gift package etc, but it's kinda pricey. Do you think it's worth it?? Check it out...

Cassie love the picture of Rhylee in your signature.

Kayrn, I have been thinking of doing a strawberry bed too, my neighbor that has one has to fight the fire ants and deer here. I might try it next year myself. Too funny about the butt sticking out of the garden. I wouldn't be able to punish Cookie either. She is my little girl, and might be my only child.

Rebecca, that room rate does not include the taxes so don't let that fool you, they seem to add on where they can. It is okay to splurge here and there, sometimes we just need that special time. I would go for it but in making the reservations ask what discounts can be given. It don't hurt to ask. Sounds wonderful, hope you two have a wonderful trip. Have you found a sitter for the babies.

Lisa - I know - especially in Canada....they have GST and PST tax which are both outrageous, however I believe I can get it refunded (since I'm not a Canadian resident). I'm also going to ask if they give a AAA discount, which a lot of hotels in Canada do.

Karyn ~ You must have been in my brain last night -- I had that Bret and Ambre thought yesterday!!! LOL!

Bec Thinking 'bout you.

Lauren ~ Congrats on the new job! Perhaps change is exactly in order. I'm starting to
