Lisa ~ I'll put my two cents in. I'm kind of dealing with the issue but not pg related. My aunt who is ten years older than me and was my maid of honor in my wedding is not speaking to me and hasn't spoken to me since my wedding 2 1/2 years ago. She's not woman enough to tell me why even though I reached out to her several times in the few months after my wedding just to call and chat. I made the attempt is what I'm trying to say, I reached out and it was up to her to tell me and if she didn't then it was on her. Throwing the whole IF thing out there may open up a new can of worms. Maybe that is not what she is upset about. My vote is to call for a chat. Maybe don't bring up the girls until asked about them. Put some feelers out there as to why she might be mad. idk, that's just what I think.

Deanna ~ I've used those HPT, in fact those are the only kind I have at home because of the preseed I ordered. I've only gotten BFN with them so I don't know how great they work or a comparison with any other test. But I will add that it was so depressing to see the BFN on that test, it was so negative the line turned white! It was like my pee was telling the stick "Yeah right, you think you're pregnant? Fat chance, MUAHAHAHA!"

Heidi~I think FF has me testing in 5 days. Last cycle was my longest LP of 15 and then AF showed the next day. I'm very nervous. Everything little twinge (sp?) in my belly I wonder what it is. I have been having some very odd feelings going on. Nothing like AF cramps, not really cramps. Its weird. I will for sure be wearing orange for you tomorrow and keeping my fingers and toes crossed!!! We definately need some BFP's

Has anyone ever read the message boards through FF? I was looking at them today and a lot of girls test really early! One girl tested at 5DPO....how can that even be possible

We have got some bad weather Ice is really bad and its snowing on top of it. Maybe the state will shut down tomorrow and no work for me!!!

Lisa - I agree with the "let it slide" camp. I think once you've survived infertility things come out in a more positive light and sometimes it's received well and sometimes it doesnt. I can tell you that even on this board someone who has had a child will tell me the following words "you will have your baby don't give up"....one day I will think "F U"...and another time they tell me the exact same thing and I'll think, "you are right, I will" For me I know it all depends on the day of the week. I'm extremely moody. For example on Thursday I told one of the preggo girls at work, that yes I hated her, but was happy for her and I warned her 1 week out of the month I'll be a bitch and the other 3 weeks I should be fine. This was not even a week ago. Today I avoided her eyes completely I just couldn't deal with her happines. Also if she's not "ready" to do IVF she probably doesn't feel like she can come to you because since that's the option that worked for you, you may want to push that on her. This is 2 cents from someone who overanalyze and overthinks everything.

Heidi - LOL@ the Rolos! I haven't had those in I don't know how long! I went grocery shopping yesterday.......I didn't buy or want any chocolate. Is the phase finally over? Karyn~You crack me up! I was robbed...thats to funny! I don't think I got free tests with my order last time. I didn't tell DH that I have those 2 tests cause I have another one in our closet. That if he sees that missing, he'll know. I have a plan on how I want to tell him and we have a bet going on that he says he'll know before me! So I have to win! My dogs are always playing fetch and with the snow that we had this past weekend, my dog cut his hind leg on it and was bleeding. There was blood in the snow, but it didn't seem to bother him! He's done that walking through ditch water too and I think stepped on glass!

Jen~After I got off the internet last night I went and watched American Idol since I DVR it. Oh my...Daniel Noriega!!! What a weirdo! When Simon told him what he thought of his performance I think he got mad. Then when they did the phone part on his number, he just looked weird!

Deanna-I'm the same about ever little pain, twinge or cramp. I keep telling myself not to read into anything and just wait til the 16th. My DH would know too if I tested. He was mad during our last medicated cycle that I tested after I said I wans't going to. He's big on waiting it out and if we make to beta day then have the b/w done. As for testing at 5DPO I think that's a bit ridiculous! Well I hope AF stays away for you! What's your color so I cna try and wear it on Friday?

Karyn-I'm definitely not a sweet person but I couldn't stop myself. I'm like a bottomless pit right now! I'm hoping its from the hormones and not because AF will be coming!

Jen or Lauren-Have a question about shots......I did my 2nd HCG shot on Monday. Yesterday I've strated to feel pretty bloated and my stomach kind of hurts. Almost sore like I worked out or something. Last night it only felt better to lay down.. I didn't have this last time but I also upped my dose on the Gonal F and the nurse said this might happen. Just wondering what your experiences were.

Lisa~ I agree, to just not mention it. Everyone deals with IF in a different way, and it is hard to know what is going on in her mind. If you feel that you really need to say something, maybe just a note or something to let her know you understand how difficult it can be, and you are there if she needs to talk.

Heidi~ DId you do a subq hcg (like Ovidrel) in your tummy?

Lauren-I do the subq Ovidrel only I do them in my upper thigh (I tried my stomach and just couldn't do so stuck with the thigh again). So it doesn't reall y make sense why I'm feeling this bloated and it is uncomfortable.

Heidi - I did the meopur & lupron subq shots in my stomach & the gonal-F in my hip. I tried to space them out. My skin was a little sore, but not my muscles. Maybe you are just sensitive?
I think I was bloated most of teh time, but nothing like after the ER. Mkae sure you are drinking TONS of water - that helped me.

Heidi~ Hmmm... I dont recall ever feeling that way. I always feel crampy, I guess due to the follicles releasing eggs, but not really a sore ache. I would call the nurse and just let them know... just in case. (hugs) Sorry you dont feel well.

Thanks girls. I'll see how the rest of today goes. The nurse told me not to take the 2nd shot if I felt this way but I was fine until yesterday which was a day after the shot. Its not painful, just kind of this uncomfortable feeling.

heidi- my DH is the same way about testing to early. i too cant test until sat. thatll be day 29 for me. i already POAS and it was neg. duh.

my boobs are so sore and i cant stop eating sugar. and we wont talk about my mood swings. i mean really sore. theyve never been like this. we timed BD perfectlya nd i used preseed once. so i would be surprised if i werent.

DH is determined. i go on the pill once i get my acceptance letter, which if i do good on the test sat could be next month. so well see

karyn- i have soooo much envy for you your SIL 12 hours away!!!!!!!!!!! i envy you. i live in my SIL"S shadow when it comes to my inlaws.

SUPER LOW ON THE POSITIVE ACCOUNT.

I just had a complete breakdown. Carlos is at the edge as well, he threw a radio against the wall, it shattered and he walked out. That was about an hour ago, he came back 30 minutes later, he had some baskin robbins and just sat at my feet and put his head on my lap, I was done crying so I just stayed quiet while eating my pint. He said he was going to take a shower and he gave me a kiss on the forhead.

So I got my authorization - 17 days after the initial request...and it is not for an RE ..oh no that would be too merciful. Instead it's to an OB/GYN....so that I can prove that we are infertile. We have to do ALL THE TESTS AGAIN, through this insurance BEFORE I can get referred to an RE. So I am out of the game for at least another 2 to 3 months since I'm traveling in May and if this first round of authorizations is any indiciation I'm screwed. So this next idiot with a medical license will be the 7th doctor I see in 30 months. Does anyone else think that is a little bit ridiculous for MFI???? MFI...that's all we have. I want to slit the throat of every person who told me when I first found out that, that was the easiest infertility to treat.

So of course once again, Carlos has the money saved to fix the truck that has been sitting back there for a year (In April) and I am considering to take that grand and flush it down the toilet with my old RE again just to have another chance. But I don't have the heart to steal that from him again. It's not fair to him. I keep putting off braces that Jonathan needs and Carlos has a ton of dental work like 3 grand that needs to be done. But instead everyone's life is on hold until I get pregnant.

It's amazing that 2 years ago, we had a savings account, that we were going to blow on a small reception when we got married but then decided to TTC and save that money for my maternity leave and that money dissappered a long time ago. Yet people have babies and get wic and live off public assistance all the time. Ironically one of Carlos' friend who is 21 and his wife is pregnant with his 3rd kid, was here when I got home cause he was borrowing money from Carlos to buy groceries. I went balastic. I told Carlos to offer him $1,000 for the kid his wife is carrying and he won't have to borrow money anymore.

I'm done - Carlos is getting out of the shower- and he doesn't like it when I'm ugly.
