Deanna - Florida does sound nice right about now! DH & I are trying to decide if we want to take a mini-vaca somewhere. I thought maybe Cabo for 5 days!

Heidi - I'm sure too when you have your baby(ies) they will do a 180 & be kissing your butt. Fixed income or not, a phone call on the actual b-day is totally necessary! I wonder if Sams' has a bulk size of the animal crackers?

Rebecca - I'm glad this cycle is working out for you!

The 2nd shot hurt today, fell like somebody kicked me in the a**! The needle didn't hurt going in, it was when the medicine went through. Oh well I felt better shopping at Kohl's afterwards! The nurse did say that the number 1 side effect she has heard from patients was food cravings....a lot are for chocolate! So since I have another shot to go, I better stock up now on the animal crackers!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Rac - You can talk about the show. I haven't seen it, and I am not sure if we still have it on the DVR. Have at it!

Karyn-I do think Sam's has the animal crackers but don't think its the chocolate ones. Glad doing a little shopping made it feel better! I will be doing some shopping tomorrow and can't wait!

Just have to post this because it's comical........I opened the mail and we have a St. Patrick's Day card from the in-laws but still no recognition of my b-day. Nice we can send a card for something trivial like St. Paddy's day but not your dil's b-day! Boy I guess I really know where I rank with them now. HA HA

omg, heidi! How rude! Yes, totally send Steph's card and sign it, "Yes, happy everything, except your birthdays, that would just be over the top."

Heidi - that is strange. A St Patrick's Day card but no b-day card?? Is your mil a flake?? I mean, is she the type who could have legitimately forgotten?

I still have no positive opk. I tested last night and again today. Originally, I wanted a later O and now I'm getting it, but I'm beginning to worry.... wondering why I didn't get the positive yet. So maybe the stress that I'm putting on myself is freaking me out or maybe since the past few days I've had some sinus stuff going on?? I've been temping, so I know I haven't missed it. Good news is, I've actually seen some ewcm which is really odd.

So, thing #1: My bosses' daughter just told them last night that she's pg w/her 1st. So I got to listen to that this morning.

Thing #2: During that discussion swirling around me, one asked (an older lady, like 65) 'can they tell if it's a boy or girl this early'? The others in the discussion answered her 'no'. I told the older lady who'd asked that it's somewhere around 16-20wks, depending on your doctor and if the kid cooperates. Then, the girl I despise (a few yrs older than me, no kids) said 'oh no, it's MUCH earlier than that now. My friend found out at 11 weeks what she was having'. Bitch. Gee, did y'all know that NOW they can tell gender at 11 WEEKS????? Amazing... I just said dryly...'okay, whatever you say' and stayed out of it after that.

*sigh*

I like Catherine (the daughter; she's a year younger than me, been married 5, teacher, groovy gal), so it's cool a/b her being pg. I just don't want to deal with it, you know? Mostly, it's the listening to the people around here talking about things like that, who, by the way, know like, nothing about anything, but run their mouths constantly...that's going to bug me even more. I hate this place. No wonder my eyes have hurt so much in the past few months; I probably rolled them so hard once that I sprained them.

Steph - It's hard - being around people who 'think' they know everything about nothing when you know that they're wrong. I've learned to let it roll off and let them figure it out for themselves. It's not easy to do especially when you know something that you're sure is correct, but people will only hear what they want and retain even less.

On a good note, I went to VS today to get measured (my bras don't fit right). I thought for sure that since I've put a few pounds on that I'm a 36 instead of a 34. Well, she measured me and sure enough I am a 34. Here's the kicker.... I'm a C, not a B. When did I get boobs?? Was I around when they showed up?? No wonder non of my bras fit right even after I was measured in July and spent a lot of $$ on them. They never fit right and now I know why. So, good news, I'm a C. Bad news, I have several hundred dollars worth of VS bras (really nice Very Sexy bras) that I can't wear b/c my bbs literally pop out of them.

Girls.... I'm really feeling like a newbie right now. Help me. If you dip a regular stick, is it possible to have too much pee on the stick?? I poas (well, piac - pee'd in a cup) and dunked both the Answer strip and the FR stick. The Answer strip looks positive, but the FR stick is clearly not. Could it be that I dunked the stick too long?? Here are a couple pics... I'm thinking I will definitely have a positive in the AM, so I'll be off for b/w and the u/s....

Lisa - Don't get too excited. They're opks. I posted the other day about going to the RE and I've been waiting 5 days for a positive opk so I can get b/w and a u/s.

Default Antibodies

Sorry I have been MIA a couple of days. My husband was involved in a car accident on March 13, 2008, but thank God he survived. But we actually found out some very interesting information from his blood work. The nurse stated that he had antibodies present in his blood that normally shows up when you have a blood transfusion but he has never had a blood transfusion. Since I have a corrective surgery and I am ovulating( I got positive readings on March 11 and 12) do you all possibly think this could be a strong possibility why we haven't conceived yet.
