Gina, thanks. I do have those moments where I'm thinking 'Oh, just pack your crap and get out, and see how well you do without me, jackass'. *sigh*

Bec! Yay! Glad for Brad. Tell him he's worthy to come to Texas and ride my horse to his new job. . LOL!

Buffett - I had the hot flashes too for the first few months. For me, many of those symptoms went away after several months. I also got my first true 'migrane' after I started. I listed my side effects pretty well in that 'clomid club' thread, if any of you new gals want to check it out. I'll find the link...

Here, this is the page where I jumped in, and I gave lists and examples of changes and symptoms throughout the time I took it.

Happy hump day everyone....

I'm feeling kinda poopy lately again - I was actually on a good streak there for a while. I think knowing that my cycle is ending and my 2 month "vacation" is over. I'm dreading the IUI, I don't want to do it again...but the train doesn't stop. I'm trying to keep my emotions in check so that Carlos doesn't think I'm crazy. Thank goodness American Idol & House were on last night so I could just focus on the TV.

I'm still waiting for my job to approve my vacation days for Vegas, and I'm still waiting to hear if the insurance is going to cover the u/s. Then I realized i can't swim for a few days after the IUI. Which I'm trying to understand why. Swimmers are way up in your uterus I can't imagine the pool water getting up there, then I was thinking of using an instead cup. Then someone on FF said something about the chlorine water messing up your PH balance...which again i think makes no difference in an IUI cycle but may be something to consider during a regular cycle. Not to swim during O time. Another "rule" to add to the list.

Oh and then last night my back was hurting and then i had a quick pain in my chest and I think Geezus, I'm going to be 36 in a few months, what if my body can't handle the strain of a pregnancy. I did alot of damage to my body the last 10 years it's bound to take a toll.

Heidi - I was thinking about your post about your friend. I remember vividely those first few months. And no matter how long you've been TTC they are difficult. Hormonally, sleep wise, relationship wise, it's a huge huge change. I'd like to believe that because this child has been so stubborn to enter my womb that I won't complain during my pregnancy or those sleepless nights but I know I will. You have to take the good with the bad.

Rebecca - That is great news about your DH, I was thinking about you. It's tough when your partner is in that kind of field cause sometimes the work isn't always consistent.

Regina - When is your follie check? Mine is April 10th -

Has anyone checked on girly? See where she's at in her IUI cycle?

Steph-Thanks for the clomid stuff. Luckily still just hot flashes last night....slept with the window open and was freezing when I got up but helped during the night. I think I froze DH out!

Besty-I agree that is a very difficult time with a newborn and sleepless nights etc. I know it will be rough if I get to experience it. I just get frustrated always hearing the negative from her and you never hear the joy from her just having the baby. My other friends all talk about what the babies are doing, talk about the rough stuff but in the end they are happy. May be she's got some post partum. I don't know....just venting I guess that may be I'm not the person to call all the time talking about how hard it is and the dislikes when I'm plugging away just trying to get there. That's all.

Steph - LOL!!! I took dh horseback riding on our honeymoon. He says that he had fun, but he was scared! I loved every minute of it! I've been riding since I was 11 and have no problem getting on a horse. He hadn't been on a horse in at least 20 years. It was pretty funny. I should dig out some pictures to scan and post for you girls.

Betsy - There was a big communication gap with him and his boss. They have the work out there, but his boss was being a jerk and owed him $$. So my dh walked off the job until he got paid. His boss told him that they'd just 'part ways'.

Well guys I booked my NYC birthday trip. I hope DH likes new york. He hated washington DC because it was too crowded. I guess it's a bit different than the ranch back home. I was stressing about the money, but then just decided that I turn 30 once in my life, and damnit, we're staying in a nice place in a fun city and I'm not going to get stressed over paying $300 versus $200 a night. The place looks really cool.

Rebecca, congrats to you and your DH on the new job. That must be such a relief.

Less than two days left with my boss! I'm out on friday because my parents will be in town starting tomorrow night. Everyone in the office keeps telling me I'm glowing with happiness. Maybe I should be a little more subtle?!

heidi -yeah she probably should vent elsewhere.

Emily - that's awesome you have New York all set. Hopefully Juan will like it.

I just checked Girly's chart - she did her IUI on Monday so keep your fingers crossed for her.

Who's next?

Betsy~ I don't have a date set for a follie check. The morning I get a + on my OPK, I will go in and they will do it that same day.

oooh - Reg - I don't think I like that. Especially this being your first time on meds. What if you don't get your positive until late that day? Then you should be doing your IUI the very next day - What if the meds do something funky to your ovaries? Or your lining? No way of getting a check earlier?

Lauren - isn't your follie check early in the cycle?

Mine is day 10 and that's only cause I'm non medicated. She said if I was medicated I would be seen several times before my surge.

I just called in my clomid refill request. Officially on CD1. Oh well.

I was wondering if there is any reason for me to do an IUI. I guess I should get DH's S/A done first to find out if there's any spermal reason we're miscarrying, cause maybe the wash would do us some good?

Juan has now officially set his going home date for late July. That only gives me 4 more cycles before he leaves. I'm trying not to stress out about it. If I'm not pg by then, I will plan my visits to Mexico around O time. I can only imagine though if I end up knocked up while he's gone that he'll wonder if it's his.

Wait, wait, how did I miss this? Gina, when did you get on the IUI train? *Steph laughs to herself about the haze she's been in recently*

I gotta get you on 'the list'.

Em, so sorry. Here baby...

I want you to get on yahoo and type in 'transdermal progesterone' and start reading websites. Your medical history and mine are so similar...now with the libido issues...and the particular types of stress issues over the past few years for us...I'm waiting to hear about potential CM changes for you. Did you order pre-seed yet? I've learned a lot in the past week. I want you to start learning about hormones...the natural kind. I know every 'new path' gets each of us so psyched up about 'this is IT', but this hormonal stuff is fascinating. And INCREDIBLY accurate on symptoms and effects of progesterone deficiencies.

Hi Girls! I am so thankful to be back home!!! I missed my house, my animals, and my husband! I am watching Ameican Idol that I dvr'ed last night. I still love Blake.

Bets~ I am so sorry you're feeling poopy. You have been doing very well lately, with positive vibes! I am feeling good about your iui this cycle. My first u/s this cycle is next Monday, which is cd 12 for me. I am starting to feel some little twinges in my ovaries, on both sides right now.

Gina~ YAY! I am excited for your cycle this month!!!

Girly~ Where are you???

Rebecca~ How wonderful that dh has multiple job offers!!! I am so happy for you both.

Steph, I do have preseed but I didn't use it this month. I really didn't have a CM issue, but I never really get EWCM, just watery. The first time I got pg I used preseed, but the second time I didn't, so I don't know if I have a CM issue. My doctor talked to me about doing a post-coital test if the Clomid doesn't work. We'll see.

I know I have a progesterone deficiency, but so far the Clomid has helped that. One thing I noticed this cycle is that I didn't feel AF coming at all. I'm cramping a bit now, but no pre-AF cramps, and my skin didn't break out three days before like it usually does. My temp also went up this morning, which of course makes me nervous that I'm going to have a repeat of my ectopic experience.

Em - Didn't he accuse you of that once before? Yeah I'd be careful about getting pregnant while he's gone, he would be wierd that way. I'm surprised your doctor is suggesting a post coital without an SA or the chromosome tests. That doesn't make sense.

Lauren - Thank you - stay positive for me. - Cause I feel like I'm just going through the motions so that I can eventually tell Carlos see we have tried everything... now love Jonathan as your own and let's grow old together. I will feel better if you, Girly or Reg get a positive from the IUI before I go in before mine. Cause looking at historical track records I'm not too hot on it. I always feel that time starts going by so quickly I'm not even done with this cycle and already my IUI is sl close by. I plan on drinking Sunday night I CANNOT WAIT. it's been a few weeks.

Steph - Reg got on the IUI train when she came back from her "break"

Bets - yeah, he did the first time. There was no excuse for it, but he said he had been hearing from his best friend that I was sleeping around. The second time it wasn't even a consideration though. I'm hoping we're past that point. We went through a really rough period that I don't know he or I ever fully recovered from.

She also did give me the order for an S/A, we just haven't been able to do it because of DH's work schedule. The post coital thing is really because of Clomid's effect on CM.
