Betsy thank you so much for updating everyone! It was so great meeting you!!! Dinner was fabulous and I am now a chocolate martini fan!!!
Thank you everyone for the thoughts and prayers. We remain hopeful but are already planning for a January cycle if this doesn't work. This was the first time IM did not have any of the embryos make it to blast stage by day 5. Of the 9, 3 were compact and the remaining 6 were cleaves. One of the 6 day blasts survived the thaw. I transferred the frozen blast and 2 of the compacts. The RE said the other embryos didn't have a chance to make it to blast stage needed for freezing so IM transferred the remaining compact and 5 cleaves. It sounds like a lot but the odds were against us from the begining. I have a 50% chance on one taking and less than a 5% chance on triplets. IM has around 15% chance on one taking.
On a brighter note, I spent the last 3 days in bed with IM watching movies, reading books and laughing our heads off. It was such a great time. We talked about everything that could happen and everything if it didn't work. We really connected. I know 100% this is the couple I am meant to help. I just pray it works!!!
Neither of us are feeling symptoms and IM said she always knows by now if it worked or didn't by how she feels. Today I am 3 days post 6 day frozen transfer and 3 days post 5 day fresh transfer so 8-9 dpo. I will POAS tonight when I get home just to see and because I am such a POAS addict
Please continue to keep IP's in your prayers. She has been through so much and I really really pray this works for her.
