Lauren, the retrieved 13, 12 were mature and 8 fertilized. She normally only ends up with 3 that make it to blast stage so hopefully it is the same this time. This is her 6th IVF cycle.

Thank you Chrystie.

I arrived last night, had a good nights sleep and awoke to the most beautiful view!!! I think I could be spoiled here. It is so peaceful and quiet.

I talked to dh and my mom this morning. Crazy that I just left yesterday yet I already miss them. This will be the longest dh and I have ever been apart.

Transfer is still set for Wednesday. K found out yesterday that 9 embryos fertilized. We should get a report tomorrow on how they are doing. In her 5 previous IVFs she normally ends up with 3 for transfer.

Ahhh! Kristy! I am so excited for you and for K&D. You guys have been through so much together already and you are only doing the transfer today! I can't wait to hear how it goes! And the more I read your story the more I feel like this is something I could see myself doing someday. I've even talked to dh and family about it. Good Luck!!! Can't wait to hear from you!

Hi everyone,

Met Kristy, last night and we had a great time. Took her to my favorite place and we had my favorite drink. She was really nervous about today.

I just got a message from her; none of the IP’s embryo’s made it thru the blasts, so there are none to transfer. The IP had frozen embryos from a previous cycle they are in the process right now of thawing them, to see if they will survive the thaw. Kristy is asking for special prayers that the embryos make it through. Please keep Kristy & the IP’s in your thoughts. She should know in about 45 minutes.
