Steph, sometimes to start over you have to just step away from everything for awhile. I was so nervous when I got on the plane to go to Mexico and knew I was leaving everything behind, but I just reminded myself that nothing has to be forever if I don't want it to be. I hope you can make a plan to get away for awhile and really do something for yourself. It's so fun to have a goal and something to work towards. And I'm sure you'll have visitors!!!

ETA - of course I'm now furiously googling my Swiss dive instructor. He was so old (well to me at the time), but so HOTTTTT. Sigh. Crap, I just realized he'd be 51 years old now. Woah. But boy did he have a body on him. Terrible, terrible european teeth, but what a body!

Steph, I can understand how you would feel that way about where the years went. But you can't think that way (mainly b/c you can't change it now, no point in worrying). Steph hugs, you know where I stand, I am praying hard you get out. Been there stuck it out for way too long, 5 years knowing but had to know it was okay with God and most of all for me to admit failure. Look at me now, I love my dear Forrest, he was a gift from God. steph-I'm worried about you hun! I just read this. I agree with Emily, that there are times that divorce is okay. You have fought a fight many would never be able to do. You will come out of this better and standing looking at the world stronger. You NEED to take care of you now. Now is the time for you to do this. Steph - I've kind of held back from posting because I'm not very good with knowing what to say and I'm always afraid of saying the wrong thing. But you've had so much good advice so far... I guess the most important piece of advice is that you have to do whats best for you. I'm confident that you'll make it through this... you've shown us over and over again your strength and capacity for survival.
