Let's start off with good news than!!! (Thanks Rebecca for the chat this morning!) I had the IUI this morning, which BTW was PERFECT timing since I bet I Oed today. My temp didn't go up when I checked it at 6am. I wasn't sure what to expect with his count and stuff so I was a little concerned.... and praying a lot. Here are the results.....

Volume 4.1ml - That is up from 1.0 in 3 of the 4 SA/IUIs
Concentration- 55x10 to the 6th/ml= 225MIL!!!!! (Can you say holy high count Batman?!)
Motility- 71%, Score 3 (1=slight, 4=rapid linear)

I am excited and hopeful this cycle!! DH and I discussed it and we are willing to do up to 6 IUIs, this was our 2nd. The RE who did the IUI (not my dr) asked me a bunch of Q's which I was surprised by. She was very nice and said his numbers are a great improvement. She asked about what caused the low count and I told her he was on testosterone shots b/c of his low test. and she wondered what dr would put him on that knowing we're TTC! Needless to say, DH is switching drs. So that's my report..... please pray this is it! You ladies are so supportive and have a lot of great info... I really appreciate that.

Stacey-that is wonderful news. I will be keeping everything crossed that this is your month! I am glad that you will keep trying, as I know you were feeling pretty down last month.

Good morning girls~
This is my LAST WEEK of WORK! Whew! I am so ready to get out! I will probably work Monday of next week, to finish getting stuff out of my office.

I hope everyone had a nice weekend. Saturday we were busy looking at houses and moving stuff into my new school. Yesterday we spent at the pool with the kids. It was really HOT here yesterday and the pool was so nice, although packed with people.

It would be nice to have some bfps for our group this month...

Lauren - YAY for being done with school!! You must be really excited. This is the last page of this chapter! Next year it's all new!

Deanna - I'm counting down the days till vacation, too.

So, dh tells me tonight that his mother wants to go to our next IUI. Uh, I don't think so!! She told him that she wants to pay for it, so I think if she goes the day of the procedure, he won't be able to tell her no. Of course, she isn't going! I think she was half serious and half kidding.

Rebecca- That would be VERY weird to have the MIL there. Tho if she's waiting in the waiting room that would be fine with me. Anything to save me money. LOL

Stacey - That's what I thought!! She offered to pay last month, too. I told dh to take it!

Rac-OMG the thought of your MIL going to your IUI made me laugh out loud! Do you think maybe she is naive and doesn't quite realize what it all entails?

Bina - She's a former RN, so I'm sure she understands. When I was pg before, the first thing out of her mouth was about being there for delivery. I don't think she'd be phased by it one bit. Of course, she's NOT going with us, but if she did, she'd stay in the waiting room. I just wish dh would let her pay for it - that would be $300 for vacation!

Rebecca~That is just to funny that your MIL wanted to be in there! Thats nice of her to want to pay for it though, but I agree she can wait in the waiting room! Whenever I get pregnant i'm not even sure I want my MIL in the delivery room. Love her to death...but it would be weird I think. Who knows what i'll do whenever that time comes!

Rebecca I wouldn't want her there either, not even in the delivery room. To me some things are just meant to be private, as they can be.

Boy I wish we had a vacation planned, with the job change we will not have a vacation this year once again. One day he will have vacation time, I hope. I guess I need to start taking more time off so I won't lose it at the end of the year. With gas prices soaring I think I am going to take a day a week.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day today.

Yeah Lauren, for ending one chapter and getting ready for a new one. Hope the new school brings new adventure in your life too. Praying.

Deanna, have fun on your vacation too.

Rebecca-that is too bad that Dh won't let her pay for it, that is nice that she offered. BTW, I tried to send your stuff in the mail yesterday but the post office's computers were "down" so it probably won't go out until Thursday.
