Hi Ladies!

Stacey - that is good I would think - I have always just been told Adam has "lots" of mobile sperm, but I know that when we were first explained to how this whole process works, they pick the best sperm and then wash them with something like a vitamin to give lots of energy, so you dont need tons of sperm (all it takes is one anyway, right?) I hope all the pains were what you were thinking - that would be great! Any more cramping for you? By the way - huge congrats on your insurance covering everything! That is great!

Tomorrow I go in for another FUS, and hopefully get the trigger injection tomorrow night, then insemination on Thursday. Has anybody heard about what you are supposed to do after an insemination? I know they have always just told me at the clinic to lay down for thirty minutes afterward, but then I can keep normal activities - I just wonder if it would help to have AJ go to daycare for the day and just lay down, or once I start teaching to take the day off? I am probably just way over-analyzing this, but I just want to make sure I am not hurting my chances of getting pregnant.

By the way - I am from MN and can attest to the tall men I am 5'8", so I appreciate this

Missy - I've always been told to resume any regular activity - no restrictions. One of the REs at the office even tells us to bd later just for more chances. Good luck today! Let us know how it all goes.

Stacy I am sure that was good.

Missy good luck today, will be praying for success.

Welcome back Deanna.

Kayrn anything in your garden yet. We are having lots of tomatoes, the squash and cucumbers are over. Peppers here and there, but not many.

Christie and Irene only if the picture is good I will post. I hate pictures of myself.

Claire isn't it funny how all dogs are so different, even those raised together. I love watching dogs around the water, especially at the lake. I had a cat who loved the water too which is not normal. If you ran your bath water and Casper was in you would go to get in the tub and there he would be with just his nose out of the water.

Hope everyone has a glorious day!

Melissa - I will be thinking about you today, good luck! I hope it goes smooth & is pain-free.

Rebecca - If it weren't for the campground being right on the river, he probably wouldn't of ever gone! DH's cousin takes his dog to a doggy park & there must be water nearby because he said they have 'dog swim' days! The owners can't go in though, how funny to see a bunch of dogs swimming together!

Claire - Glad you imported a tall one! LOL@Minnesota's tall men!

Lisa - I hope the pics turns out good, I want to see it. I just picked 8 zucchini yesterday! I will be making bread this week for sure. I have been picking green peppers for a couple weeks now. I heard that when planting GP, to put a book of matches in the ground before adding the plant. Something with the Sulfur makes them grow fantastic. I have never tried it before though, but heard it works!

Irene - I feel lucky that my cycles went back to normal so quick. The stuff I read on-line about cycles after Lupron had me so nervous! Yesterday I was obsessing about every twinge.....of course at only 4DPO!

Deanna - Welcome home! Glad to hear you had a great time! Sorry about being sick, that stinks. Did you drink the water?

Emily - Sorry about the long cycles, that has to be so annoying. The brother that is 6'5, is he the one you posted a pic of that was drinking a beer while cooking bacon outside?

Stacey - Sounds like everything went well, crossing my fingers for you!

Missy - Good luck today!

Mel - oh it wasn't a de la hoya fight on Saturday. It was Margarito-Cotto, which was Mexican vs. Puerto Rican - a BIG rivalry, of course. Juan was on the edge of his seat the whole time! But De La Hoya apparently said he would fight the winner (before he knew who the winner was) for his last fight in December. I think it's Dec. 6th. But then the other night he said he might fight Trinidad again. I don't like him either. I think he's a mega wuss, but he does pretty much own boxing now. We like Pacquiao too, and Chavez and Marquez.

Karyn -

That's him!!

Spotting after BD last night, but nothing since. Dangit! Start already!

Karyn~I didn't really drink the water....well there was ice in my cups. But the resort said that all water was purified. So that should make it better...right? I just can't believe I am still running to the bathroom! I'm beginning to get sore back there lol

Any of you girls know how long you have to wait to test after doing a transfer? My friend at work did the embroyo adoption and her transfer was 13 days ago. They told her she could test on Day 11, but I think that seems to soon. She tested negative too. She's very upset and I wish I had some words of wisdom for her. She had a blood test done this morning, so we'll see what that says. I just think it seems soon?????

Deanna - sometimes it's not from the water. It could very well be the food. The standards in Mexico for food storage are not as stringent as in the US. Some people just have a more violent reaction than others. I went with a friend to Mexico a few years ago, we ate/drank almost the exact same thing. She got really sick. I was fine.

If you did happen to eat anything with jalapenos while you were there though, be careful if you continue to have this problem because of the recent claim that they are carriers of salmonella.

Deanna- Welcome back!! 13dpt should be long enough I would think to get a BFP. I really hope she gets it.

Missy- No more pains here. It seemed to have ended after the 3am cramps. LOL I went and just layed down on my left side (trying to get them to go to that side.... HEHE) after I got home and watched a movie. You could always make it a cool mommy and son thing and chill out in bed with him while watching a kid's movie. Tho I was told there's no need to do anything special after the IUI.

Stacey - Nice temp today! Looks like everything was timed perfectly! YAY! Will you continue to temp so I can stalk you??

Remember... NO POAS!

Deanna - I'll have to check your pics when I get home. Glad you're back and had a good time.

Karyn..... good news.... I have my first two massages at the salon tonight! I'm pretty excited. That's $$ in my pocket!

Rebecca~You can't see them at work can you? I thought I posted the differently so you could see them. That stinks!

Emily~I'm guessing it is the food. I'm not as sick as others were. Some felt like they were dying and wanted to go to the ER almost. I just can't hold anything in. To my knowledge I didn't eat any jalapenos, I don't like them, so I hope not!

Stacey~Maybe you're right then. I feel bad for her. I don't know what to say. She doesn't want to talk to much about it cause she'll burst into tears. She's been trying for a very long time. she has endo really bad and her DH has low sperm count and only one testy. She spent 5k on this transfer and went down to TN to have it done. Guess we'll see what the results show today....

hmmm. Rebecca I'm not sure? Do you mean that you CAN see the pictures I post? Maybe because I size them down? I don't do anything but use the IMG code that is the bottom box in the options on photobucket.

Bec- Yes I will be temping. I am actually surprised that the temps weren't higher b/c of the trigger shot, but I guess it doesn't effect my temps. Odd.

Deanna- I feel bad for her too. I hope that it really was too early.

Em, are you on a laptop? There's things I can never see from my parent's laptop on here. I'm happy to see you. *kiss*

Jenna, Lisa, Karyn ~ Yes, you'd better believe it I worked my tail off this weekend. The thing that's going to take the longest is to pack up the good china and other dishes. I'm getting rid of so much stuff. It's actually quite liberating. This is all going to go okay. (God willing).

Gosh, there is so much going on for everyone. You know...during those times in the IF world here, when there are a bunch of people having procedures at the same time, we usually have pretty darned good success rates.

Missy ~ Hon, take AJ to daycare for half a day. From what I've always understood, things get where they need to be pretty quick. Take a few hours to be alone and just rest. It's okay to need that.

And now for the 'I was right and people are crap news'...

SO, it has been confirmed that the oldest SD had an abortion. He did some recon, and all the other kids know now, blah blah blah. She f$%&*#g did it. I don't ever want to have anything to do with her again. A marriage, a house, cars, kids, and she did this $hit out of pure selfishness. Not because she was young and had nothing and was alone, not because she was in an abusive relationship, not because she was a crack-whore, not for any other reason that she just didn't want to deal with it. The ($300? $400?) they spent on the abortion would have paid for six months of a kid's necessities. She gets all the government aid. She doesn't work.

And now girlies, hold on to your lunch: She got a f$%#^&@ tatoo to "COMMEMORATE" the kid she threw away like trash. I could be sick. She's a selfish, heartless, lying, soulless b*tch, and I hope she can never get pregnant again.

Her father is torn up over it. I, of course, expected it several months ago, because I've had a front row seat as to what a selfish nasth b*tch she is over the past two years. He chose to belive her. And as usual, I was right.

She can fall off the Earth as far as I'm concerned.

Okay. Thank you very much for letting me get that out. I'll never speak to her again.
