Does anyone know the rules for drawing the coverline on a chart? I use FF, but I also use one of the charts you can find in TCOYF. I know I can just copy what FF does, but I like to know the ins & outs so I can also do things myself. I looked it up in TCOYF, but I was still confused. Also, my FF chart has changed like 3 times this week w/ new temps & such being added.

RAC - My chart looks pretty this month. The first one that has anything worthwhile in it. I'm so proud. Sorry, I'm bragging & I've prolly done something completely wrong & the chart is really way off, lol. Got to try Not to get my hopes up, but it's sooo hard. 5 or 6 DPO now, not positive which, tho.

When on clomid, does o come more regularly; like around the same day each month? Or can it still be completely off, or delayed or early? also, I've heard drinking lots of water can help increase CF? and Robitussin can do the same thing when taken around time of AF & before o?

Kelli - I think your O date is off on FF by one day. I believe it is cd15. The rule for FAM is three temps higher than the previous 6 and the c/l is .1 higher than the O temp. So, when you're manually charting your O date should be cd15 with a c/l at 97.5

It looks good! Nice and stable. I like it.

RAC - It changed back to CD 15 today. I'm kinda confused on how my temps now are still changing it. I thought it was CD15; other than the CF on CD16 & that pain I was having. On my chart, I am using CD15 as O day. Altho, I drew the line at 97.6. Its actually between that and 97.5. Today's temp is still up, still a lot of closed circles. It looks so good when your chart actually looks like there's promise. I was getting pretty tired of all those anovulatory charts!

Kelli your chart does look good. I was a late O'er...Clomid made me O CD19 the first time, CD14 the 2nd, and CD13 the 3rd & 4th rounds. Wishing you luck!

Rac - Another IUI I guess. My dh is really having a hard time. This morning he told me it was SO embarrassing. I know he doesn't really want to go there again, but he said, what ever I wanted to do. I want to let him do the sample at home and not come with me. I have to make sure they let you do that though b/c I know he had to sign something last time. My yearly visit is this Friday, I had totally forgot. That's a good thing b/c I will have time to talk to her one on one about all of this. I don't think I mentioned it here, but I have had a rash for a couple of months on my arms and inner thighs, I think it could be from one of the meds. So Friday I went to a new dermotologist and she did a biopsy. Well when she seen the meds I was on she told me she is just recently pg from her 3rd IUI. She hasn't told her staff yet. She said she messed around at her GYN for 2 years before going to an RE. She said, I dont know your doctor, but I can give you the name of my RE, she said she recommends him of course b/c she got pg in just 3 cycles. So I dont know yet. I mean I know most of the ins and outs of this now. I dont see where my GYN is missing many holes. Shes done CD3 and CD21 blood work, HSG, Clomid, Estrogen, Progesterone...Ultrasounds...I don't know. I think I will just finish out these last two rounds of Clomid with her and IUI's then call an RE? Maybe they could fix my left tube?

Cassie - Suck she had to come. Booo... IUI again?

Becky - Yesch! So when do you go back to see the dr?

Kelli - Chart looks great!

AFM - Forgot about the IUI all weekend, and stayed sober the WHOLE time!! I have to admit it wasn't easy. Now back to worrying and obsessing. LOL

Also have a question, I know some of you have had cysts before, but do they hurt? The reason I ask, it my silly older sister who I believe is addicted to pain killers, just found out she has a one in her ovary, and now is so sick and in so much pain? WTF?

Stephanie - Did you get a shot after you woke up too?

Mary - Have you been able to keep busy? Did you let your family know you were doing IUI? I've been thinking that if that is our next step, I might not want to tell anyone.

Rebecca - How have you been?

Melissa - So you got a shot AFTER the procedure to help with nausea? I didn't know they could/would do that! I totally needed one of those! Has BIL been behaving lately?

Becky - OMG! Yeah for moving on!!!! Awesome about $35 instead of $1500! Have you had any side effects from the stims? Good luck today, I hope the b/w comes back great!

Cassie - How is Rhylee doing since all that testing?

I am doing pretty good. Still just a little bit bloated, not as much as last time though. I can't wait for my appt. tomorrow! It's so very exciting for me because I know there are absolutely no tests left to do, so I know for sure that he's not going to say that!

Karyn - shes been ok. Every morning when I wake her up I feel her head first. I am just waiting for it. There have been a couple of times she puts her head down and says she doesnt feel good, but she hasn't gotten sick. So your thinking about the IUI?

Karyn- Yes after I woke up, I had some water and a few crackers said I was feeling nauseous and they gave me a shot of something into the IV.

Mary- Yes cycts can be painful, although I think it largely depends on what type of cyst it is, but if it has burst then it is most likely very painful. In May I was having pain and I had both a blood cyst and an endometrioma on my R ovary (the blood cyst had resolved on its own by the time I had surgery). The pain was not unbearable and it didn't stop me from working, but by the end of the day I was looking forward to going home and laying down. I know you've also said your older sister can be somewhat of a drama queen when it comes to being sick, so it could just be that too .

Becky- Best wishes!

Cassie- Goodluck with this cycle! Are you going in for bloodwork soon to start the clomid again?

AFM- I really dislike the progesterone suppositories. How have other people on here taken progesterone (pill, cream or suppository??)? I'm really thinking about asking next cycle to take a different form, but want to check on efficacy of the different types before hand...

Hope everyone had a great weekend!! I saw Harry Potter this weekend and was a bit disappointed, they left out some crucial scenes and added a couple scenes that weren't in the book, but overall it was a decent movie. We got some yardwork done yesterday and stupidly didn't put sunblock on so now I have a sunburn, oh well!

Stephanie - I don't like the suppositories either!!! I may ask for an alternative myself.

Mary - yeah its looking like IUI #2.

Cassie - When dh went to give his sample, did you go with him or send him on his own?? Maybe he'd feel better if you were there?? I dunno. I went with dh each time (it's not something he can do on his own). I think your gyn has been pretty thorough, especially to do the IUI. Maybe stick with your plan for now. I'm not sure what a RE would be able to do about your tube. Let us know what's up with the rash. Did the dermatologist have anything to say about the rash?

Karyn - I'm okay. Busy, busy busy... I found out that I'm acquiring a second team at the office. That will be sometime this week and I'm involved in a bunch of projects since our last acquisition (we bought a bank that literally doubled our size). Good luck tomorrow! I hope your doctor has a great plan for you!

Mary - Glad you had a worry free weekend!

Stephanie - I used the suppository mainly because it was a bio-identical supplement and not a synthetic one.

Rac - I was there, but he didn't want me to go in the room. I think he's even embarrassed that I knew he was doing it on his own. This is not something he does either. That's why I thought it may be better if we just collect at home. The derm. said it looked like some type of dermatitis or excema. She said the biopsy would let us know if it was a reaction to some type of medication or not. She said it was not typical of what you usually see with reactions to deoderants or soaps.

Just so all of you know, there is an extender out there for Semen samples!! I was saying something about having the sample there in an hour and she said, no you can buy an extender and its good for ALOT longer. ?? I have not looked it up and I didn't ask her where you get them, but I will let you all know if I find it.

Rac- Thanks for letting me know that! I think I will just suffer through the 2 weeks with the suppositories .

Cassie- I also forgot to mention it in my last post, but there is limited success with working with fallopian tubes and often times it will increase your chances of having an ectopic pregnancy. In my research I did find some sort of supplement and massage technique that supposedly helps, but it was like a $5,000 treatment, and any independant testimony I found on it, it didn't work...

I know my sister is just really addicted to pain killers, and no one in my family thinks it's my problem to deal with. But I can no longer watch our family do nothing about a serious problem that my sister has. Today I'll write my intervention letter. Scary.

Stephanie - I used to take the oral pro, but my new RE said if he does decide to put me back on it, he likes the supposities the best.

Karyn - Yay for IUI next cycle! We hope! Yes trying to stay busy, but still it always ends up in the back of my mind. Like whatever I'm doing and how different it would be if we actually get pg this cycle. I did tell my family, DH family hasn't a clue. I go back and forth with it all the time, maybe it would of been easier to not tell them, but then they can try to understand the dissappointment.

Cassie - My DH does j/o, and luckly we live close enough that he can do it at home, so I just get the computer ready, take Blue out for a walk, and when the porch light comes on, I go in and get the sample. It's pretty funny. The first time he had to do it in the office, he needed me to come in with him, and then all he wanted to do was bd, and they said you can't do it that way, but that was the only way he could. I don't know if that helped, but if possible you should see if you could collect the sample at home?

Hi everybody! Thanks so much for all of your good wishes and positive vibes!!

Mary- yay for not thinking about the IUI this weekend....will you start POAS anytime soon? I went back to the Dr. this AM for more b/w. They should call me today and let me know when I need to come back and if I need to adjust any of my meds.

Karyn- hi!! Thanks! So far no noticable s/e yet...hopefully I'm doing the shots right...lol. I am soooo excited about your appt. tomorrow! I will be checking in all day to see when you post. What a relief to know you don't need any more tests/surgeries!! Can't wait to hear what the plan is!

Cassie- sounds like your GYN has covered all the bases. Good luck with IUI #2!

Antimony- I need to stalk your chart...you're in the 2ww right? Will you be POAS anytime soon??
