Betsy - Just trying to be positive here but that doesn't look like a AFiscomingtempdip, that looks like an implantation temp drop what with the spotting you had the day before with a side of cramps to go with it. I will be VERY anxious to check your chart in the next coming couple of days.

I haven't had a chance to post much because of work. So I'm trying to remember everything I've read.
Steph-Hi! Betsy-Sorry about the music. I hope you're feeling a little better. Just remember you have a great plan in place and you've come a long way with Carlos and the medical help. It's going to happen. Lauren-Hi! When are you doing the second opinion or do you not yet know which RE? Karyn-Hey! Deanna-I did both 50mg and 100mg of clomid. I didn't have much of a side effect other than hot flashes and some mild head aches. I didn't have any monitoring though while on mine other than a progesterone check once. I hope you have better success than I did on it. I don't know if you were posting here when I finished my last cycle in October but make sure your RE keeps up with the monitoring. I developed a cyst and had to sit out a cycle. Sounds like yours will. Kimberly-Hi! Em-Sorry that Juan is having a hard time with the ex. Hopefully he'll get to spend time with his son. As for the movies.....definitely rent Superbad. It was very funny! Well I got to reorder all my injectables tonight. So I will be set to go after surgery and when my RE clears me. I spoke to the nurse today and she told me I had the refills so it was so easy to call and do the reorder. My insurance has approved the surgery. I have to say my RE's office is great about that stuff. I don't even worry about it any more. They continue to submit for office visit, u/s etc when the other ones expire or get used up. I'm so used to fighting and arguing with people to get these types of things done. It's really amazing how efficient his office runs! |

Em - The IF Betsy says yup the M/c f'd me up. The Positive TTC Betsy thinks..."of course it's implantation...let me start putting up the crib...
Lauren - I knew you were messing with me! Melissa - The majority of my temps are empty circles. Although I take my temp at different times every morning I'm still temping after the same amount of hours of sleep - does that make sense? So for example if DH is going to get up at 4 tomorrow for work, we go to bed an hour earlier. Christina - I still find it amazing that after 20 charts there is always "something" I haven't had before. Just like the fallback rise I had ages ago...never had another one since. Heidi - It's awesome this office is better. Tina - Did you ever make it down here??? So I had a 1 1/2 hour call with the executive director of Resolve. I'm going to be starting my own RESOLVE Peer Led Support Group. I get a manual, tons of brochures, magazines and handouts for my meeting and on going training. I'm hoping to be up and running by March 1, my max amount of people that I'm allowed in the meeting is 15. I'm really excited and scared. But mostly hoping I can get newbie IF people that I can help educate on some basics that their doctor failed to tell them. Some interesting notes of things that Barb said. (hehehe I call her Barb now) - Infertility puts you in a life crisis - She also said "disease of infertility" - Her goal is to have a support group in every zip code in America just like weight watchers -Virgina has the highest amount of support groups and the longest lists for a waiting lists. (probably cause it's the headquarters) -The commitment is for a year -They have 45,000 visits a month to their site. 45,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -That infertility is the most devastating thing that can happen to us -It was started 34 years ago by a woman in her kitchen in Massachusettes I aksed her what happens to the group if I was to get pregnant. She said that depends on the group. Most groups will continue on with the leader being pregnant some do die off She said that she has heard more complaints from the pregnant person feeling abandoned by the people she supported versus the other way around. I talked to Em about that tonight. I never saw it that way since the way I look at it the other person at least has a baby. Barb said it didn't matter it is still a human connection that you have with another person. I told her about my relationships here, she kinda chuckled and said that in person that intimacy is magnified 100 %. So expect alot of RESOLVE info from me. Also if any of you belong to other message boards if you can PM me so maybe you can put in a word for anyone in the So Cal area to join my group that would be awesome.

Betsy, I have to tell you that I am so impressed that you are doing this. I know that IF has changed so many people, but you are coming out of it as someone who still wants to help others. I am not sure I would be that big of a person! Let us know what else we can do to support you in this endeavor

Emily ~ I saw No Country for Old Men and I have developed a new crush...Javier Bardem. Granted, he plays the creepiest serial killer in the movie, but I found myself lusting after him the entire movie and when I got home I IMDB'd him and plan on renting his movies. Probably the reason I think he's so hot is b/ he looks a little like Robert Downey Jr who is #1 on my list (You remember that episode of Friends with 'The List'?). Anyway, kind of got off topic there, but the movie was good.
Betsy ~ I would be interested in sitting in on a meeting when I'm in So Cal, let us know more when you know more. |

Lisa - It has changed me. I do feel bitter alot of the times...but not exactly sure towards who? Cause like who can you really blame. But I do know when I talk to other people and hear mostly about problems with Drs it charges me up like nothing else. And I do love educating people. Hopefully I'll get some good people.
Heidi - If it already gives an address then it's probably fine. She said across the country it really varies. There are some groups that it's all drop ins. Others that it's very fluid, people stay for a few months and then others where the group is together for years. Even after success. That was another thing......I thought was really odd...........she rarely used the word pregnant. She used the word success, I think because they are very pro adoption. And they also support Childfree so success means different things to different people. Melissa- I know I'll be going the first sunday of each month. Now I have to find a location. So I have to call some different places they suggested. I had kinda assumed it would be at my house but because of Jonathan they said that would be a no no.

Betsy- Congatulations to you! I think you will be amazing as a Resolve leader. As for locations, maybe check with local banks or churches. A lot of the meetings around here take place in bank conference rooms free of charge. Good luck to you!
I just realized I put my bra on inside out... how is that even possible? |
