Here's to a great 2008 for everyone!!!

Betsy- great pics! Looks like a very happy family!

Emily- yeah...what exactly's in a Sidecar?

Lauren- my name's Becky...sorry about that.

Girls...your graphics are awesome! I'm going to have to figure out how to add some cool stuff to my signature line. BTW..for those of you who may be interested, I'm going to start using the OV watch this next cycle. It's supposed to exactly pinpoint O. Just thought I would mention it in case anyone wanted to check it out. Sounds like a lot of people have had success with it. Here's the website: OV Watch | Ovulation Predictor, Fertility Monitor, Ovulation Kit, Trying to Get Pregnant

Happy New Year everyone. Hope it was fun and safe. We stayed home, ate, drank and watched a movie. Pretty uneventful. Especially since DH got a little too drunk and feel asleep. No BDing for New Years. Oh well. I have my annual exam tomorrow so probably shouldn't be having sex right before it. Told him he's going to be busy the next few days BDing anyways. HA HA. May be we'll have a miracle and get pg on our own.

Becky-By the way I never welcomed you to the board properly before. Thanks for the input from your D&C. I've heard the peeing thing is a big deal when doing these types of surgerys. I'm sorry for your recent loss. I hope 2008 brings you a sticky bean.

Kimberly-Glad you got to do b/w and SA. Not a great way to spend New Years but a good start to the new year hopefully!

Hey girls! Happy New Year!!!! New Year's is such a hopeful time. I pray that each one of you gets to mark off that special resolution for this year. It's back to work for me tomorrow (ALREADY!), but I will be lurking.

Becky- You are going to LOVE it here! These gals have all the answers to whatever question you could possibly ask. Most of us here have had some sort of experience in the TTC gallery of procedures. Some have had unlimited experience. I hope your stay here is short.

As my Dallas Cowboy, T.O. says, "Get your popcorn ready!" I know it's going to be a BFP-filled year!!!!

Okay - well this doesn't rank among my worst new years eve....but it definately ranks among the top 5.

We spent it with the brothers and SIL's. Actually one of the SIL's she has 9 sisters. They were ALL there. And all of them have 3 or more kids...the most is 5. (2 of them are under 21) Only 2 are married (the 2 that are my SIL)Carlos tends to be very private and hasn't seen many of them since he met me. So needless to say the fact that Carlos had a girlfriend much less a wife with child was quite the topic of conversation the last 48 hours. It was absolutely awful. But Carlos was having so much fun with his brothers who kind of kept to themselves. That I had to suck it up and play nice. And my son was having a blast too.

I heard every offending comments under the sun here are a few....1) Why don't you want to give Carlos a baby? 2) Do you guys have sex? 3) You just need to relax 4) Oh nice ring, nice car, you must have a really good job, is that why you don't want to have a baby. 5) Oh why would you want to start over 6) And of course I got the whole God speech.

Meanwhile I was peeing on stick every 4 hours to determine if we should spend the night. It was 4 am when Carlos and I got into a fight about how I WAS RUINING THE NIGHT FOR HIM BECAUSE I WANTED TO GO HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So we spent the night. No BD. Then today the brothers wanted to play soccer so I had to bear another 4 hours with these women.

I was able to respond in appropriate stinging ways to the comments. Including my example of rape victims not being relaxed but getting pregnant anyway to telling 2 of them that my tax dollars were paying for their child.

The other SIL who is not one of the sisters had to pull me to the side this morning and asked me what was going on with me that they all thought that I was a snob. Uh helllo I am!

When we finally got to the car. I told Carlos I had the worst possible time then put my head in my lap and bawled out of frustration the whole way home. One of the saddest things is my son is in the car the whole time and he doesnt even ask what's going on cause of course he's used to me completely losing it.

MY OPK is still negative and Carlos is napping since we got zero sleep last night but he knows his services are required tonight.

OHHHHHHHHHHH to make it worst!!! One of my SIL last night decided that she was TTC and so she called for a special circle prayer for her to have a baby in 2008. I thought I was going to vomit. Carlos was standing by one of his brothers (the hot one) and I took his cigarette out of his mouth and smoked it. I gave Carlos one of those looks that dared him to say something to me. He hasn't said a word about it. And as I smoked I mumbled soemthing about that I had 27 cycles under my belt and I'm supposed to pray for her to have another welfare baby? ARe you kidding me?

I'm having one of those moments where the desperation of getting pregnant is getting the best of me and I need to clear my head.

Oh then!!!!!!!!!!! my cell phone died so I couldn't do my usually 10,000 messages to Em to vent so I'm sure that didn't help.

Okay - my first vent of the year......Lord knows it won't be the last!

Does anyone else get emotional when they see the start of a new thread? It makes me really sad each time.

okay......moving on

Lauren - As you read no BD at all. I can't complain our BD is normally really good. But during the fertile patch it really does suck. I haven't O'd (the important one) during my fertile patch in easily over a year....actually.......the month I got my BFP it was a good one. But overall nah.

Kimberly - Don't let the small amount discourage you. A tablespoon is totally normal.

HB= Yup my honey was in the red sweatshirt.

Heidi - Don't stop believing, miracles do happen. A small, non cynical part of me truly believes that now

Jo - I think I will pop a bag of popcorn each time we get a new BFP

Becky - Welcome to our small crazy part of the world.

Oh here are pics from New Years Eve - can you tell the brothers were just loving each other?

Yes they were dancing together

Betsy - I'm sorry your NYE was bad. You must have had some other pretty terrible ones for that to only be in the top 5. None of it is funny, but I had to LOL at your "Hello - I am a snob!" comment. (((HUGS)))

Jo - I'm glad you're happily posting in the pg thread, but I'm sure you will still be here just as much if not more and these girls might remember this - I've been seeing previews for the movie One Missed Call, and I was wondering what ever happened with that weird voicemail you got this summer?

Kelly - OMG - I totally thought of Jo when I saw that preview. And yes I have no shame in admitting that I think I'm better than all of them. Humility is not one of my strong suits. It didn't rank among the very worst because at like 6 am when I was finally in bed (still pissed but finally in bed) And I was in my nephews full size bed squeezed in between my husband (who was mad at me) and son (who snores like a bear), fully clothed, wondering if I was missing my egg...I was grateful that the 2 people I would die for were by my side. And remembered the many new Years where I went to bed alone with nothing but a vodka bottle. Reminding myself what to be grateful for is a constant work in progress.

Betsy~I'm sorry that your New Year's night sucked People just don't know the appropriate things for conversation apparently. I agree with your last comment too on reminding yourself of what you "do" have and be thankful for that too.

Well, Dh and I were driving to work this morning (we work together) and the roads were a little to slippery, expecially over railroad tracks! And needless to say, DH went over them a little to fast and we did a complete 180 right into a telephone pole! I was soooo mad at him! Our jeep isn't to damaged at least, but our lease is up in like 9 months and I can't wait to get rid of it! Men really do drive worse than women

Yeah for 2008! Lots of BFP's this year!

Betsy - I'm sorry you had to go through that sh*t on New Year's.

Heidi - Glad you told me about the pee thing for the Lap, I definitely don't want to have 2 done! The RE gave me some reading material on Lap's, it said that you will receive a catheter, maybe I will luck out & not get one! Your NYE sounded great! I love those night with DH, just beer and cards or playstation. Blah for the yearly, but good to get it out of the way.............."Scoot down a little closer...closer" I HATE THAT.

Lauren - Hope you endulged in some wine!

HB - Hope you & Cap'n had a good night!

Deanna - I hope that pill does get your cycles regular!

Becky - Thanks for sharing your experience, sorry you had to go through that. I hope you have great success with the OV Watch!!

Kimberly - I think DH expected to fill the entire cup! The lady at the lab said it was more than enough. I don't think they require that much. Did they say when you can expect the results?

Emily, Rebecca, Jo, Snowie & Steph - Hope you had a great NYE!

I'm so glad it snowed on NYE & a few peopl
