Everyone, Thanks for the support & positive vibes!

I am feeling better today. Still bloated but its nots quite as uncomfortable.

The Dr.'s office hasn't called, so thats good news. They close in 15 minutes, so I can hopefully breath a little easier soon. They said they would only call if things weren't looking good. I feel like I am taking meds every hour. And I have to take them with food (but not dairy). And I can't take them together or it will make me sick. Looking forward to being done with these.

Here's what I am on now:
tetracycline capsules- 4x day
methylprednisone - 2 tablets once a day
progesterone shot
estrogen patch
parlodel in PM
prenatals

The good news is that DH is a pro at the shots. I didn't feel the progesterone shot at all last night. I'm sure it will get worse as I get sore, but I am pretty impressed with his nursing skills.

Tomorrow is the big day. My accupunturist is coming over at 8AM, before we leave for SA. Our appt is at 11, so we are going to head out about 9. Then, she'll come back to the house when we get home. I have a stack of mags and books for the weekend. And I think a few friends are going to drop by to hang out. I am ready to relax & think happy thoughts.

My fertility color is gray, so please wear it tomorrow, if you can. Wish us luck!

Thanks so much girls!!

I am writng this from my living room couch, where I plan for the next few days. My accupunturist just left. I feel nice and relaxed.

This AM went really well. We got there in plenty of time. They took me back to see how full my bladder was - it was so full I got to go pee a little, twice (I didn;t think it was possible to stop, but it is). Then the lab tech came in to tell us about our embryos. I was so nervous! But it was good news! Of the 9 that fertilized, they had all developed somewhat.
Here is what they told us:
2 were almost at 4 cells, but developing kind of slowly - they might not make it
the rest:
7 cell grade B
8 cell grade B
12 cell grade B
2x 10 cell grade B
4 cell grade B
4 cell grade D (lots of fragrementation)

I have a photocpoy of the 8 cell, that I will upload if I can figure it out. I can't believe they were all alive! I had prayed so hard that at least 2 would make it. We will know mid-next week if they are able to freeze any.

They decided to use the 7 cell & the 8 cell. They said they were the best to use for a Day 3 transfer. The procedure itself was pretty easy. Pretty much like an IUI, except they were doing a sonogram so we could see everything. We actually saw the little air bubbles with the embryos in between, go into my uterus. It was wild! It was over pretty quickly.
Then they used a catheter to empty my bladder. They didn't tell me they were going to do this. The nurse had to do it twice b/c it didn't work the first time. Ouch! I think this was the worst part of the entire cycle. I'll be fine if I never have to have that done again.

So now we wait. Its crazy to think that I could be kinda pregnant. I can't believe I have to wait 14 days to find out for sure.

Thanks again to everyone for the encouragement, support & of course wearing gray!!

Hey everyone,

My bed rest is officially over, since it has been more than 48 hours. Now I am not sure what to do. Do I go back to life as normal, just without exercising and drinking? Do I continue to stay off my feet as much as possible? It's like I am at this anti-climactic phase & I am not sure how I should be acting. It feels weird.

I am still a little tired, but I think its mainly from lack of doing anything. The crazy bloated feeling is gone, but I still look puffy. At least it doesn't feel as bad.

After tonight, I will be back to eating healthy. I've been indulging all week - I forgot how good Lays Sour Cream & Onion ships are - the real ones, not the baked ones. So yummy!!!

I hope everyone has a great week!

So I didn't eat very healthy today, but I plan to go to the office tomorrow, and I will pack my meals to make sure I am good. I keep reminding myself that I will feel better if I do.

I FINALLY finished my tetracycline! I am so excited. Now I just have my vitamins & one parlodel pill to take each day. Very excited!

I am still kinda bloated. I didn't really have any cramps today either.

DH left for Florida for work today, so a friend came over to give me my progesterone shot. I just can't do a IM shot myself. She is a nurse, so it was quick & easy. I decided to switch hips tonight b/c after only 5 nights of shots & my right hip is sore and I have some bruises.

Only 10 days of shots until my blood test!

'Day after Christmas' syndrome, huh? Well, it certainly couldn't hurt to take it a bit easy. Such a short time until the answers come, but an eternity just the same...
